Nachts gives the slaves assembled in the holds a long, uncomfortable once-over before heeding the good doctor's words and walking back up to check on things above.

Perception check: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30

Gives praise to the dice roller's dead body in the name of the midnight lord.

After he's done searching, the doctor guides the soon-to-be slaves to the upper deck.

Right. Gentlemen, Apprentice. Bird. This is no longer an in & out. We have to get these hostages to safety at once! I suppose cassomir's harbor watch will do.

and must be blind....Well that's the luck of the dice

Fable's feathers seem a bit ruffled after the doctor's statement, and he angrily disappears into a fold of Netissys' hood.

What an ass, I expected nothing less from the likes of him. Tengu are NOT birds, they are an ill-mannered bunch of thieves who have fallen from the majesty of the skies who WISH they were birds. How dare he honor him with such a title as BIRD!

To Gibbs, before he disappears:
"I apologize for our associate, I'm sure he didn't mean anything by it."

Sovereign Court

"That's an excellent idea doctor, let's vacate as soon as possible."

"Don't apologize, it's a sign of weakness." The tone is gruff and unapologetic as the tengu gives Fable a squinting look, before shrugging. I'm sure there's something to it, but shorthand is as good as anything. Let's get moving, folks, as soon as we can see what we can see.

The Exchange

I heard that. I was referring to you, not Gibbs, bird. Gibbs is a valued and useful member of our society, bird, and it would pain me greatly to think that you would think less of him. Shame on you.

(To Nerissys:)

I'm sure you'll be able to keep your pet under control from now on? Can you not see his vocal utterings cause much dismay? Keep its ego under control, or our friend Nachts will have to have a word with him. Understood?

Having had enough of the bickering, Rathor hisses, "Enough! It's time to act like professionals. Save your jeers and your threats for your own time. For right now, at least, you're all Pathfinders and should act accordingly." Peeking out over the edge of the stairwell, he scans the top deck with his darkvision, searching for any movement in the night. "Steel yourselves and get ready to move!"

The Exchange

Wait, it's nighttime?

The doctor sniggers and shrugs, but follows suit.

Sorry for the delay. The Perception checks were to hear the bad girl on the deck but I was too slow to update. So let's do this instead.
Yes, it is nighttime.

A woman approaches the deck with one shambling humanoid? next to her.

Knowledge(religion) DC 10:
This is in fact a zombie, it just moves much, much faster than normal ones.

Shocked at seeing the group on the deck, she then tells her companion to attack.
