Hello! I'm thinking of making up a new character for this.

He's going to be a multi-classing monstrosity that ultimately ends up in the Devoted Muse prestige class, but for first level I'm wanting to see if some of the classes I am looking at will be as good as I think they are. To that end I can bring a couple different classes. Mostly I'm looking at a Flamesinger Bard but I can also bring something more martial if people want (though we look good on that end).

Dude, that Flamesinger Bard looks REALLY cool. So much so that I had to go and buy the digital book and the Hero Lab upgrade for it so I can make one.... Making your allies weapons burst into flames for extra damage? INGENIOUS!

I've updated my profile with the new level. All that's left is to decide if I want to buy something. Also, I'm fairly new to PFS. If I do decide to buy an item, do I just tell you so before we start the scenario? And do I take the gold off my sheet right away or will it be on the chronicle?

Anything you buy now (before the scenario starts) is put on your last sheet. As far as what you buy - it doesn't matter to me as long as you can justify anything that there may be a question about. (I don't have everything memorized and there are ways to get tons of good gear/items). For example I learn of the Trait Chosen of Iomadae that as long as she is your deity you get a masterwork Longsword for free. Great item to start a character with that I didn't know about....

There is also a fillable PDF Tracking Sheet for PFS that I use. Should be downloadable in My Account/My Organized play section.

Outpost starts March 5th. That being said, the scenario dropped in my inbox so I am looking at starting a day or so early for introductions and the usual knowledge dump stuff (Wed or so this week), so make sure your character is up and ready to go!

I love the idea of the Flamesinger. Had I know about it beforehand when I made my first bard (who is now level 3 and its to late to change anything), I would have made a Flamesinger as well.

Instead, I made one a little while ago and got him into a MoFF evergreen for the fun of it.My Flamesinger. He isn't "singing" per se, he is an insult comic whose anger catches things on fire! lol!

Copy the text in this link, fill it out in Notepad or similar, then just post it where appropriate. Makes things much organized and easy to work with. Its not mine, but it is one that many players use as it provides all the information a GM/Player needs.

If you want any example Zailus's profile is entirely spoilers! It makes getting around the massive amounts of text I keep in my profiles neat.

If you are wanting to get them in your header so you don't have to flip back and forth to your character page you can do that too! I did it with an investigator once. However, your header has a character limit which includes characters used to code, so it might be a bit tight.

On a different note Zailus is flipping to the Concordance faction that finally got released! However the faction choice isn't in the system yet so he still looks like he's in the sovereign court still.

What system? Hero Lab? That might take a few days....

Nope, here on the boards. It's why the small symbol next to his name is still a Phoenix, and not a multicolored lantern. It might take a while for that to get updated though with all of the other updates happening.

I'll also update his faction card sheet in a few days.

Before we leave, I'd like to get a cold-weather outfit and a cloak of resistance +1, which is available to me thanks to playing through The Consortium Compact. That would cost me 1008gp. Shall I change it on my profile right away?

Ah! Gotcha!

My perspectives of P2e are unique. My personal journey went Basic->AD&D->2e->3.0->3.5->PF. Any time you update an edition you have a period of shock. Paizo is doing an amazing job of building the blueprint for the future, so I think any GMs who express anger now will have their frustrations allayed before long.

You'll always have some who leave, and new who arrive. We couldn't be in better hands for this though!

My personal experience with roleplaying is like yours DMS. I remember the outrage between 2e and 3.0 and understand the concerns some show now. But I guess I'm old enough now to having a cooler head towards changes now.
