Hmm. I doubt it. It's a pretty big holiday here in the US today and all the preparations leading up to it has eaten all my time lately. I'm going to be up most of the night tonight and will probably be asleep at this time tomorrow. I can probably have it done by tomorrow night, but not during the day.

Darren, you are using the wrong Cleave. You haven't updated your character to new rules.
I've looked at all the class alterations added in the downloaded sections you gave me and I can't seem to find where I've gone wrong. I've made all the necessary changes to the classes and written it all down on my character profile.
I admit that when Darren attacked I made the mistake of writing it down as if assuming Darren had hit the first figure to continue cleaving through to the next but that was just to save time. If you would prefer, I can change my feat listing to that of having Whirlwind Attack in place of Cleave. It's an easy fix to the problem and wouldn't really change Darren's fighting style at all.
Also was there a change to the rules that I missed somewhere or are you just referring to the lists you gave me?

You are using the old Cleave, that assumes that you get additional attacks if you hit. That version of Cleave is subsumed in the Whirlwind Strike stance. The Cleave that we are using now works like this:
If you deal a creature enough damage to make it drop (typically by dropping it to below 0 hit points or killing it), you get an immediate attack of opportunity against another creature within reach. The extra attack is with the same weapon and at the same bonus as the attack that dropped the previous creature.

Guys, I think that we shouldn't use too many spells in a fight like this. Muni, I know you are limited and can't do much aside from spells, but using so many spell points just to affect one of these drekavci seems too much. Save your points for something nastier, knowing nightflier, this is just an appetizer and the main courses are gonna be really tough. So, let's fight this one through and use spells only if something changes or things start going south.

Guys, remind me, what have we decided about the following:
@All Players:
In order to avoid the confusion that sometimes creeps in in the games with a lot of players, when the combat begins you should start your posts with the following info in OOC:
Round #, Initiative #
AC, HP
Buffs
ActionAnd then proceed with the description. Example:
Round 1, Initiative 14
AC 20, HP 27/35
Bless, Mage Armor
SA (as in Standard Action): Attack the boss ogre
Currently only Solvi uses this format.

This is just to let you know.
I'd be interested, if the spot is still open. Thanks! Be well,
crow
Hey, Crow.
The Witch is filled, but if you are still interested in playing a character that will lead up to the Pale Legate, or something similar, send me an email. I can easily work the three of you in the game, connected in some sort of an alternative party to the Bonebearers. Later on, I may keep you in the main story thread, or star another game for the three of you. This game was always planed so that I can include several stories and parties and now I want to experiment with that kind of stuff.
Anyway, send me an email.

Starting to put the witch together, couple of questions on the class
Patron replaces tradition?
Does a witch pick casting stat or is it default Intelligence? (Since the hex uses int as the DC modifier)
Pick spells from the Witch spell list (minus spells not in midnight?)
Any of the hex feats available? (Extra Hex, Split hex, etc)

Couple quick generic questions on character generation:
- Do you have a skills guide?
- How do you want hp to work for the alchemist?
Do you also want us to explore the character concept/background in this thread or keep that to email? It is ok to share mine with David and Crow if you want to do it by email.

** spoiler omitted **
Witch is a tradition to itself. Instead of channeler bonus spells, the witch gets bonus spells depending on her patron.
Casting stat is Int.
You are to choose spells as standard Midnight channeler. Whenever you get Spellcasting, you choose appropriate spellcasting school, just as other channelers do.
Most hexes are allowed. When you choose your hexes, I'll review them and exclude problematic ones, if you happen to choose some of those.
All hex feats should be allowed, yes.

There is a link to Skills document in my profile. HPs are max for all five levels. You use alchemist's HD from the APG.
Let's keep the background to emails, and use this thread for the mechanics only, for now.

I don't see a link for the skills. Are you using Kirth's document with the changes listed in your profile? Or is it a separate document?

1) Skills posted in my profile.
2) Darren, you still have old feats listed in your profile. Please change them by tomorrow. I was essentially gone from the boards for a week. That was more than enough time to update your character.
3) I am better now, and I intend to return to daily posting. Once again, I would like to ask all of you if you can post five times per week. This time I seriously intend to exclude those players who state that they can post, but fail to do so. If you can't post five times per week, please say so - and I'll find a way to keep your character in the game, or a way for your character to return at some later date.
4) I am working towards including another party in this game. You may remember that I've tried before to organize a "dark side" game and to introduce the characters from that game into this one. This will be a little different. These new character may start a "spin-off" of this game. Just to let you know.

A handful of questions as I continue working on the character concept and details.
Are Class skills in effect at +3 once you take a rank or just straight up ranks? Do they only apply for Primary or also for Secondary?
If Class skills are in effect, here is my take on class skills for the Alchemist (with Vivisectionist and Preservationist)
Primary
Disable Device
Fly
Handle Animal (only for Preservationist)
Heal
Perception
Sleight of Hand
Spellcraft
Survival
For Vivisectionist, Knowledge (Nature) which would be Survival here acts the same as Heal (Cruel Anatomist) so we should also rule on whether that is the case.
Secondary
Craft(any)
Knowledge (Lore)

Trying to put finishing touches on my character and have come up with a couple of questions that Nightflier or anyone probably can answer (and is probably right in front of my face but I haven't seen it in the books)
How do you figure out Spell Points (I get the one per level gained, but what other factors are included?)
For Spellcasting feat, do you need to choose for exapmle lesser conjuration before chooing greater conjuration?
For choosing spells known are we using Pathfinder/Kirthfinder rules or 3.5. What I mean is do we know 0 level spells and can cast them at will or a number of times/day. And from what list of spells are we choosing from (I assume Midnight's list?)

It is based on your primary spellcasting ability, plus your level. There are also several feats and abilities that can add Spell Points.

Yes, that is correct.

I always played it as number of times per day. And the spell list is the Midnight list, although NF may have modified the list.

Thanks! So to make sure Spell Points=Level+Casting Stat Bonus (barring any other bonuses from feats and the like) so a 5th level channeler with a 20 stat would have 10 Spell Points.

That is correct as long as you are a Channeler. Only Channelers get the level boost to their SPs

In this case a witch, but it states that a witch gets one per level like a channeler.
Thanks so much for answer those, helps me push it closer to being finished.

Character updated.
Okay,
1) what is Powerful Charge and where did you get it from? That feat is not from Midnight and it's not from my Feats document. The same goes for Greater Powerful Charge.
2) You are still using the old Spring Attack feat.
3) You are still using the old Great Fortitude feat.
Also, under the Figher tab:
You can have only two stances. How did you get Shattering Strike and Overhand Chop?
These are only cursory glances at your profile. Please, explain these things to me.
