Follow the game. Perhaps there will be an opening, or some one-shot role. I tend to see the games as stories, so I like to introduce new short-time characters, branching storylines and stuff like that.

I'm ok with adding two more.

DM question. I assume we're taking max hit points for first level, what are we doing for starting gold?
