Tiasar, The way I get my maps done....
I use MapTool and TokenTool to make the first pass of the maps. I extract a map from the pdf of the scenario, use it as the background, size the squares as best I can and show the coordinates. The tokens are created using token tool and can be placed onto the map. I use one of the maptools drawing tool, 'draw a rectangle on the object layer to block out rooms etc..
Once done I export the map in GM mode and use Paint Shop Pro to crop the map and save it as a jpg, before uploading to imageshack and using the direct link to the picture in the url tags you see in the posts.
There are people who probably do it far faster and quicker than me using MapTool, but I'm just a novice at all this and it works for me, so thats how I do it.

Come explore the jungles of the Mwangi Expanse! Or perhaps you'd like to try one of the new classes being playtested for the updoming Advanced Classes Guide. Or even, try out one of Dreamscarred Press' psionic classes, updated for Pathfinder and with new core classes. I've not had an opportunity to play one, but I think the aegis and marksman classes look pretty cool, even if psionics isn't your thing.

I was thinking that we've been doing pretty well considering only half the party calling in, we must be nearly there. When Deevor can pick up the game again, what can we do to help speed up the rest of the mission and wrap up the scenario?
What's our plan? I say we try to follow the chanting, they must be having a church service or something, and I'll bet the chief priest will be there too. Let's hand over the holy items and beat a quick retreat, I think we've done enough damage to put apsis in a bad light, let's just get out before they see through us. Head straight for the ships and hightail it out of Riddleport.

Sorry, my house is in the middle of building works and I can't give this the focus I normally would. It's being going on for 4 months now, but it got a bit more difficult over the last few days as we mpoved out of our bedroom to the living room, whilst they knocked down walls in the bedroom. All weekend we had to put everything back from the living room into the bedroom, so they can knock down a wall in the living room. The kitchen has had 2 walls knocked out. The plumber is working hard so he can turn the new boiler on and we can get rid of the old boiler, which is stopping more kitchen wall being knocked down and windows going in.
It's why my time hasn't been on this as much as it could recently.
Its pretty stressful at home at the moment...

Very sorry for my absence, but the house has been a freezing and dusty nightmare for the last few weeks. The builders have been very slow in getting things done and the trying to live a normal life under these circumstances has been nigh on impossible. At last the roofing in almost complete, as said most walls are down, but we are waiting for the weather to improve enough to have the rendering at the front done, before we can get the front of the house watertight. It goes rendering, balcony then windows and doors.
At the back of the house we are running the kitchen out of boxes as we wait from the kitchen room to complete its build and the kitchen installed. We have no work surfaces except for the top of the fridge and cooker. Hopefully we will have a kitchen installed by the end of February, the floor is down, just waiting for the water from the mains to be connected to the new pipework, which is being dug out now. 1st fit electrics done, now for plasterboards and plastering to be done, including the ceiling etc.
So life has been a bit rough, (not to mention my wife's car was written off when the wind blew my son's motorbike into it).
We are coming out the other end.
I will post the final encounter in the next couple of days.

The house and work ist being tough, but the house got the new windows yesterday which is a big step forward. I'll send you a photocopy of the chron sheet signed off as appropriate.
