Gotta hope they make it through fine though. Ironically, I think, Aakif could "safely" die; but I rather hope he makes it through.

Male Human (Andoran) Fighter Lvl 5

Lorenz turns his bow on the cannibal closest to Gelik and fires two more arrows at it.

Point Blank Rapid Shot: 1d20 + 6 - 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 6 - 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 9
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Point Blank 2nd Rapid Shot: 1d20 + 6 - 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 6 - 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 26
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Aiming for cannibal 14.

The first of Lorenz's arrows flies over the cannibal's shoulder, just missing. The second grazes the cannibal's arm. It also does one additional point of damage (+1 for inspire courage and +1 for Point Blank Shot) for 5 total.

Aakif takes a swing at cannibal #11 trying to get past him. The mist-like spirits strike out as well.

Aakif falchion, raging, Power Attack on #11: 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (15) + 8 + 1 + 1 - 1 = 24 -- hit
Damage: 2d4 + 7 + 1 + 3 ⇒ (2, 1) + 7 + 1 + 3 = 14
Spirit slam: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 21 -- hit
Damage: 1d4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 1 = 6
2/8 rounds of rage used

Aakif's gets a glance blow on the cannibal's cheek, but the swipe continues through and cuts a wide gash down the cannibal's chest. The wispy spirits then follow up with a blow that turns the cannibal pale. Somehow, the cannibal is still standing, but barely.

Next Up: Makoa, Ishirou, Cannibal Leader, Gelik, Urza, Aerys, Cannibals, Jask, Lorenz, Aakif.

Male Half-Orc Barbarian(Totem Warrior/Invulnerable Rager) : 2 Druid(Wolf Shaman) : 4

Growling fiercely as blood drips from his maw, Makoa lashes out with his axe. Full Attacking 15

Raging Power Axe:1d20 + 7 - 1 ⇒ (8) + 7 - 1 = 14
Damage:1d6 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 5 + 2 = 9

Armor Class: 16
Rage Rounds: 6/7

Makoa gets another +1 to damage from Gelik's inspire courage. (He also had an additional +2 to hit, but since he hit anyway, it doesn't really matter.)

As Makoa lashes out, the cannibal tries to block the blow with his sword, but is unable to. The axe cuts deeply into the cannibal's arm.

Ishirou swings at #5.

Ishirou katana on #5: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 1 + 1 = 8 -- miss

Unfortunately, his foot catches on a vine and he stumbles, missing the cannibal completely. He takes a 5-ft step back to avoid the cannibals enclosing him completely.

The red-haired cannibal moves up by Urza and Aerys (to ES -9) and swings at Urza with his shiny scimitar.

Cannibal leader scimitar on Urza: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16 -- miss, but gets an image

The blade seems to slice right into one of the Urzas, but it turns out to be one of the fakes. The image of Urza flickers and then vanishes. The cannibal snarls and roars with rage when he realizes he got the wrong one.

While continuing to make jokes about the cannibals' ineptitude, Gelik steps back away from the ones approaching him (5-ft step to EP -11) and fires an arrow at #14.

Gelik shortbow on #14: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 16 -- hit
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4
2/9 rounds bardic performance used

The arrow streaks across the cannibal's chin and ear, drawing blood.

ROUND 3

Active Magical Effects:
bless -- +1 to hit
Inspire courage -- +1 to hit and damage and Will saves vs fear

shield (Urza)
mirror image (Urza, 1 image)

Urza stands his ground against the leader of the cannibal force. He summons forth a flame to damage the group in front of him (red head, 8, 16).

Cannibal #16 Reflex: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 -- fail
Cannibal Leader Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 -- pass

I'm not seeing where the +8 bonus to damage is coming from. You have +1 per die from your bloodline and +1 from favoured class bonuses, totaling +4. Am I missing an additional +4 somewhere?

Flames blast from Urza's fingers and cover the three cannibal's. The red-headed leader laughs it off with barely a couple scorch marks, but the other two scream as their flesh blackens and their hair is completely burnt away. #16 takes the worst, but #8, who was already hurt, is pretty badly burned as well.

Aerys unarmed strike on #8, Power Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (7) + 5 + 1 + 1 - 1 = 13 -- hit
Damage: 1d3 + 2 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 + 1 + 2 = 7

As the flames clear, Aerys takes advantage of #8's confusion and hits him hard across the cheek with her fist. His jaw snaps and he goes down.

A few of the cannibals on the outside step up to get closer and attack. The rest just attack from where they are.

Cannibal #3 broken scimitar on Lorenz: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 -- miss

Cannibal #10 stabilization check: 1d20 + 2 - 6 ⇒ (14) + 2 - 6 = 10 -- pass

#4's scimitar cuts deeply into Aerys's side. As she's reeling from that, #5 cuts her across her back. She stumbles, but manages to stay standing, blood spilling about her. #5 stumbles as well. It seems that strike was the last his waning strength would allow him, and he collapses from his wounds.

#11 tries to get Aakif, but is unable to. He, too, collapses from the stress of the wounds he's already taken.

#12 swipes at Urza, but only cuts through the remaining image. With the images gone, however, it is now clear where the real Urza is.

"Nethys, strengthen your servant," Jask says and touches Ishirou. Some of Ishirou's wounds heal over. Casts cure light wounds: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Next Up: Lorenz, Aakif, Makoa, Ishirou, Cannibal Leader, Gelik, Pezock, Urza, Aerys, Mahjik, Old Woman, Skeletons, Cannibals, Jask.

Okay, I'm not sure where the +8 comes from either, but since he's level 3, shouldn't that be +6 instead of +4?

It probably came from a need to be sleep. It should be +4. Sorry.

Mahjik the Flink wrote:

No, the favoured class bonus is +1/2 each time it's taken and he's taken it twice for +1 total (it's not per die, but just to the total damage). Then there's +1 per die from his bloodline ability. So +4 total. :)

Onwards then! To round 4! Mahjik has a fist with "granny" written on it!

Male Human (Andoran) Fighter Lvl 5

Lorenz drops his bow and reaches for his flail, attacking the cannibal in front of him with it.

Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 1 + 1 = 22

Lorenz whacks #3 across the face. The cannibal hisses angrily.

Aakif turns his attention to #13.

Next Up: Makoa

Female Gnome Cleric 4/ Rogue (burglar) 3

DM:
Douena also wants to use her SLA comprehend languages before entering the village so she can understand what the cannibals are saying. No verbal or somatic components, so it shouldn't interfere with stealth. It lasts 30 minutes.

Male Half-Orc Barbarian(Totem Warrior/Invulnerable Rager) : 2 Druid(Wolf Shaman) : 4

Sensing weakness, Makoa brings his axe to bear against the cannibal again, it's blade cutting through flesh and bone again with ease.

Raging Power Axe1d20 + 7 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 7 - 1 + 2 = 15
Damage:1d6 + 5 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 2 + 1 = 11

Armor Class: 16
Rage Rounds left: 5/7

Makoa's axe cuts through #15 chest, smashing several ribs. The cannibal goes down.

Ishirou takes advantage of the situation and steps (5-ft step) over #15's body to flank #4 with Aerys.

Ishirou katana, flanking, on #4: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 5 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 26 -- hit
Damage: 1d10 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 1 = 6 + 1d6 ⇒ 6 = 12

His katana carves deeply into the cannibal's hip.

The red-haired leader turns his attention to the badly injured Aerys.

Cannibal leader scimitar on Aerys, favoured enemy: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 10 + 2 = 30 -- hit, critical threat
Cannibal leader critical confirm: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 10 + 2 = 21 -- confirmed
Damage: 2d6 + 12 + 4 ⇒ (6, 2) + 12 + 4 = 24 -- Ouch. :(

Aerys's eyes go wide as the scimitar pierces her side and cuts right through her stomach. She topples over in a bloody pile. The leader roars with delight and turns on Urza, trying to bite him!

Cannibal leader bite on Urza, favoured enemy: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 4 + 2 = 23 -- hit (for those keeping track, his favoured enemy is human; I just forgot the bonus when he attacked Urza last round)
Damage: 1d4 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 2 = 10

In his crazed rage, the cannibal leader manages to get through Urza's multiple magical protections and tears a chunk out of his arm. The leader hisses maniacally, letting the blood run and splatter over his face.

Gelik gasps at the gruesome sight and momentarily stutters in his performance, but not enough to reduce its effects. He drops his bow and draws his longsword.

Gelik longsword on #14: 1d20 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 1 + 1 = 8 -- miss
3/9 rounds of bardic performance used

Unfortunately, he's too traumatized by the events, and he misses the cannibal completely.

ROUND 4

In the cannibal village, Group B moves sneakily into the southeast side. Pezock moves carefully to the door of the small hut. Moving half speed to maintain Stealth.

Next Up: Urza, Mahjik, Old Woman, Skeletons, Cannibals, Jask, Lorenz, Aakif, Makoa, Douena, Sasha, Ishirou, Cannibal Leader, Gelik, Shiv Dragon, Pezock.

Urza's spray of colours has a much more noticeable effect this time around. #16 manages to shake off its effects, but #12 topples over unconscious. The leader screams and stumbles. He doesn't fall unconscious, but he does drop his sword. He is stunned and blinded.

Does favored enemy apply to Urza if he's half-orc?

Round 4, Initiative 18
AC 21, HP 32/32
Mage Armor active
Actions: move stealthily (to about X20)

Mahjik tries to get to a position to see more of the village and maybe get a bearing on where the old woman is. He sneaks to about X20, or where he can get a better view 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27 whispering to Pezock as he passes him, "where's the old woman?"

Female Gnome Cleric 4/ Rogue (burglar) 3

Unless the DM says otherwise, Douena's message should be active for Pezock, Sasha & Mahjik. She would have explained how to use it: She can whisper to you and you can whisper back, and she can pass messages on to the others if needed. There is a small chance of being overheard (Perception DC 25), so be careful.

Mahjik the Flink wrote:

It does. To quote the Core Rulebook: "Half-orcs count as both humans and orcs for any effect related to race." The same rule (but for half-elves) applied to Aerys. The downside to half-blood characters.

Mahjik can't make it to X20, unless he takes a -5 penalty on Stealth. You can only move at half speed while using Stealth normally (except Douena, who has the fast stealth rogue talent). I've put him at Y22, which is 40 ft from where he started. Let me know if you want to take the -5 penalty and I'll move him to X20.

Pezock shrugs as Mahjik passes by.

The old woman (wherever she is) delays, as do the skeletons and Cannibals #17 and 18 (and any additional ones you can't yet see).

The cannibals with group A press their attack. #16 moves up closer to Urza.

Cannibal #3 broken scimitar on Lorenz: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12 -- miss
Cannibal #4 broken scimitar on Ishirou, flanking: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 2 = 8 -- miss
Cannibal #7 broken scimitar on Ishirou, flanking: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 3 + 2 = 17 -- hit

Cannibal #16 broken scimitar on Urza: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 -- miss

Ishirou takes another nasty hit, but is still up thanks to the healing he received from Jask. Makoa also takes a minor hit from #9.

Jask takes a step back and pulls out his dagger. "Nethys guide this blade," he says, and the dagger flies from his hands without his throwing it. It heads for #16.

Jask hand of the acolyte: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 + 1 + 1 - 4 = 15 -- hit
Damage: 1d4 - 1 + 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 + 1 = 4
1/6 uses used.

The dagger slashes across the cannibal's neck and then flies back to Jask's hand.

Cannibal #15 stabilization check: 1d20 + 2 - 3 ⇒ (16) + 2 - 3 = 15 -- pass

Lorenz whacks #3 across the arm. The cannibal is bloody, but still fighting on.

Aakif turns on #9.

Aakif falchion, raging, Power Attack, on #9: 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (5) + 8 + 1 + 1 - 1 = 14 -- hit

Spirit slam on #9: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 9 -- miss

Aakif's falchion carves into the flesh of the cannibal, causing him to wheel backwards. The cannibal is incredibly lucky as that wheeling allows him to avoid the blow of the mists surrounding Aakif. The cannibal is very badly injured, but manages to remain standing.

The gate on the south ended, nearest Douena, is not open. However, the gate at the far side does appear to be open.

Makoa Wolf'sKin wrote:

It does become a secondary weapon. However, your bonuses are a little off. -5 brings the usual +7 bonus down to +2 as you gave it. Bless and inspire courage give a cumulative +2. Power attack gives -1. I think you just accidentally wrote a + instead of a - at the end of the attack bonuses. So adjusted bite attack roll is 16. Still hits. Damage bonus is half your Str bonus, which raging is +5, so +2 to damage and there is +1 from inspire courage and +1 from Power Attack. Your adjusted damage total should be 7.

Makoa's axe slams into cannibal #7's shoulder. Then Makoa quickly follows up by biting a chunk out of the opposite shoulder. #7 has gone from uninjured to looking close to collapse.

Gelik recovers his wits and swings at #14, continuing his jokes all the while. "You know, I think you're much too big. Let me shorten you," he says as his longsword slashes across the cannibal's leg.

Shiv Dragon Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25 -- with varying distance penalties, not enough to notice anyone

Back in the village, the Shiv Dragon waits to be released by the cannibals (delays).

ROUND 5

Shield of faith (Aakif) --although I've been forgetting to list it, I haven't forgotten the bonus to AC :)

Pezock Stealth: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23

Pezock, sword in one hand, carefully opens the door with his other hand and peers inside. He shakes his head, then whispers to Douena (again, can't see the others to target them.

Douena:
"Not here, but there's another door."

He steps inside.

Still anxious to get to Aerys' prone form, Urza attempts to carve a path through cannibal 16 to get to her.

Claw
to hit 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
damage 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Claw
to hit 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
damage 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

If his target goes down, Urza will take a 5' step closer to Aerys.

Female Gnome Cleric 4/ Rogue (burglar) 3

Upon hearing Pezock's message, Douena messages Sasha.

Sasha:
"Don't go far. Pezock's in the hut; let's see what he finds before we move on. If we get all spread out, one of us might get into trouble without the others knowing."

Move to X 26; draw quarterstaff

EDIT: Forgot to roll Stealth 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18

Urza's claws rip across either side of #16's face. The cannibal drops like a stone, and Urza steps up closer to the fallen Aerys.

Sasha nods and Douena moves closer to the hut.

Next Up: Mahjik, Old Woman, Skeletons (subject to delay), Cannibals (17+ subject to delay), Jask, Lorenz, Aakif, Makoa, Sasha, Ishirou, Cannibal Leader (stunned), Gelik, Shiv Dragon (subject to delay), Pezock, Urza, Douena.

Ah. So that's the hut we suspect the granny in. Wasn't clear on it before :)

Mahjik quietly backtracks, indicating to Douena that the side of the building seems clear. His crouch is low, as he seems coiled to jump to action.

Move action, stealthy but quick, to Y22 1d20 + 9 - 5 ⇒ (17) + 9 - 5 = 21
Standard action: ready to move into the hut quickly should it turn out there's trouble in there.

Old Woman Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

Suddenly, to the north, somewhere near the far gate of the skeleton pen, and old woman's voice yells something and the skeletons suddenly move into action.

Translation for Douena:
"Quick! There are some by my house! Move!"

Three of the skeletons march straight towards Sasha; the other three circle round towards Douena. Only one skeleton reaches Sasha quickly enough to attack her.

Skeleton #1 broken scimitar on Sasha: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (20) + 0 = 20 -- hit, critical threat
Critical confirm: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (12) + 0 = 12 -- not confirmed
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Cannibals #17+ take their actions now. #17 releases the chain holding the Shiv dragon, then moves southwards. #18 moves immediately, easily catching up to the skeletons approaching Douena. The Shiv dragon heads straight for Sasha, but only gets partway there.

Back with Group A, the few remaining cannibals make their attacks.

Cannibal #3 broken scimitar on Lorenz: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 -- hit
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Cannibal #7 broken scimitar on Ishirou: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 -- hit
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Cannibal #9 broken scimitar on Makoa: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 -- miss
Cannibal #14 broken scimitar on Gelik: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 -- miss

Lorenz takes a scrape across his arm, while Ishirou is slashed down the front of his chest. Ishirou looks in very bad state, but he remains standing. #9 swings wildly at Makoa and then collapses.

Jask lets loose his dagger again, which flies at #7.

Jask hand of the acolyte on #7: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 + 1 + 1 - 4 = 16 -- hit
Damage: 1d4 - 1 + 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 + 1 = 3
2/6 uses used.

The dagger slashes #7's throat and then flies back to Jask. #7 crumples over.

DM Stuff:
Cannibal #4 stabilization check: 1d20 + 2 - 6 ⇒ (20) + 2 - 6 = 16 -- pass
Cannibal #11 stabilization check: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 2 - 4 = 17 -- pass
Cannibal #16 stabilization check: 1d20 + 2 - 8 ⇒ (7) + 2 - 8 = 1 -- fail

Next Up: Lorenz, Aakif, Makoa, Sasha, Cannibal Leader (stunned), Gelik, Pezock, Urza, Douena, Mahjik (subject to ready action), Old Woman, Skeletons, Cannibals 17+, Shiv Dragon, Cannibals 16-, Jask.

"She's out here by the road, but she hasn't seen Pezock and Mahjik yet. Sasha and I will handle the skeletons; you two get to the old woman."

messaged to Douena:
"Okay, can you get a more exact bearing on the old woman?"

Female Gnome Cleric 4/ Rogue (burglar) 3

message recipients:
"She's on the far side of the skeleton pen."

Male Human (Andoran) Fighter Lvl 5

Lorenz hisses at the wound he takes on his arm and whirls the flail around once again. "Die already!"

Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 1 + 1 = 25
Damage: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 1 = 10

The cannibal promptly obeys Lorenz's command and falls over. Well, it's more like the cannibal screams, coughs up blood, and collapses, but the result is the same. :)

Aakif shifts over to get #14.

Aakif falchion, raging, Power Attack: 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (6) + 8 + 1 + 1 - 1 = 15 -- hit
Damage: 2d4 + 7 + 1 + 3 ⇒ (3, 3) + 7 + 1 + 3 = 17
5/8 rounds of rage used

The cannibal barely has time to look in Aakif's direction before the falchion practically cuts him in half.

The immediate area around Group A is suddenly a lot quieter, with only Gelik's jokes and a bit of gurgling from the Cannibal Leader, who is still stumbling blindly about. In the distance, however, you can hear yells at the cannibal village. It will take a while to get there, though. At a run, it will take 8 rounds for those with a speed of 30 to get there, 12 rounds for those with speed 20.

Next Up: Makoa, Sasha, Ishirou, Cannibal Leader (stunned), Gelik, Pezock, Urza, Douena, Mahjik, Old Woman, Skeletons, Cannibals 17+, Shiv Dragon, Jask, Lorenz, Aakif.

"Kill these before they come to." Urza urges his fellows. "We don't want them at our backs as we're at the village."

Given his comments in the ooc thread, I'm going to assume Makoa goes after the cannibal leader.

With the other foes around him fallen, Makoa whirls around, crosses the trail, and swings his axe at the still-reeling red-haired cannibal.

Makoa axe, raging, Power Attack: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (9) + 7 + 1 + 1 - 1 = 17 -- hit
Damage: 1d6 + 5 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 5 + 1 + 2 = 10

The axe cuts deeply into the leader's shoulder blade. Still dazed and reeling, the leader is barely able to yelp in pain.

In the village, Sasha strikes out at the skeletons attacking her.

Sasha rapier on skeleton #1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 -- miss
Sasha kukri on skeleton #1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17 -- hit
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3

Douena and Mahjik are unable to see what she's doing, but Douena does hear from her.

Douena:
"I hope you've got something good for these skeletons because my weapons are just sliding off."

Back with Group A, Ishirou drives his katana into cannibal #4. Coup de grace.

While the cannibal leader continues to stumble about, Gelik ceases his jokes and taunting. He slides his sword into #14's neck. Coup de grace. Inspire courage bonus has ended.

ROUND 6

Active Magical Effects:
Bless (Group A) -- + 1 to hit
Shield (Urza)
Mage armour (Urza and Mahjik)
Message (Group B)
Comprehend languages (Douena)
Shield of faith (Aakif)

Pezock hisses and rushes out of the hut and around the west side, clearly no longer concerned about stealth.

Douena:
He whispers to her, "I see her! She's casting a spell."

Next Up: Urza, Douena, Mahjik, Old Woman, Skeletons, Cannibals 17+, Shiv Dragon, Jask, Lorenz, Aakif, Makoa, Sasha, Ishirou, Cannibal Leader (stunned), Gelik, Pezock.

Urza pulls a healing potion from his sack and feeds it to Aerys. Don't be dead. It is not your time to see Pharasma's realm yet.
Potion of CLW 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

message Douena:

"Help Sasha if you can! I'll try to stop the old woman."

Female Gnome Cleric 4/ Rogue (burglar) 3

message recipients:
"Dodge it, Pezock! Mahjik, are you going for the old lady or the skeletons?"

As her lips mouth the words, she moves closer to the corner she hopes Sasha is right around and presents her holy symbol. "Desna, we need help!" move to V 26; channel positive energy 1d6 ⇒ 6 I'm hoping that vegetation is the crowns of trees her the energy will go under and not brush that will block it from reaching the skeletons on the other side.

Mahjik breaks into a quick sprint, going left around the building he heads towards the skeleton pens - he'll try to move passed the old woman if possible (he doesn't mind provoking as he swiftly moves along - trusting that most enemies react to slowly to his sudden appearance). He tries to threaten the old woman while cutting of her retreat, and possibly flank with Pezock when he arrives.

Urza pours a potion down Aerys's throat, but unfortunately, it has no effect. She is dead.

The vegetation is indeed the crown of trees. The little black spots that show up from the vision block are the trunks.

Skeleton #2 Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11 -- fail
Skeleton #3 Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9 -- fail
Skeleton #4 Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10 -- fail
Skeleton #5 Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 -- fail
Skeleton #6 Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13 -- pass

The song of Desna spreads out, washing over the people, skeletons, and Shiv dragon. Four of the skeletons fall apart, bones scattering about the ground. #6 has several bones crack and break, but still holds together. (#1 is too far round the corner and is not caught in the effect.) Sasha is healed of her wounds. (The channel also gets cannibal #18 and the Shiv dragon, but since they're not injured, they're not affected by it.)

Mahjik rushes around the house and past Pezock. He catches sight of the old woman, standing near the gate of the skeleton pen by the trunk of a tree. Cannibal #17 is right by her. Because of the position of a nearby hut, he can't get around them [ooc](he would have to go through one of their squares), but he is able to get right up beside them. The old woman is just finishing a spell as he reaches that spot (one round casting time, started last round). There is a swoosh of air and a massive spider appears on Mahjik's other side. It immediately attacks him.

Giant spider bite, flanking, on Mahjik: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 + 2 = 6 -- miss

The old woman takes a step back a glares malevolently at Mahjik, who feels a sense of dread come over him. Evil eye on Mahjik.

Mahjik Will: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23 -- pass
Mahjik takes a -2 penalty to his attack rolls for 1 round.

The remaining skeletons attack. #1 continues to attack Sasha; #6 moves up to Douena and attacks.

Skeleton #1 broken scimitar on Sasha: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (19) + 0 = 19 -- hit
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Skeleton #6 broken scimitar on Douena: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (5) + 0 = 5 -- miss

Sasha takes a blow across her hip.

Cannibal #17 attacks Mahjik, while Cannibal #18 moves up to attack Douena.

Cannibal #17 broken scimitar on Mahjik: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 -- hit, critical threat
Cannibal #17 critical confirm: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 -- not confirmed
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Cannibal #18 broken scimitar on Douena: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 -- hit
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Mahjik takes a nasty hit across his thigh, while Douena takes a slash across the side of her head.

Another cannibal comes rushing up behind #17, apparently having come from one of the other buildings. The Shiv dragon goes for Pezock.

Shiv dragon bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 -- miss

Back with Group A, Jask moves to check Aerys and sadly shakes his head.

Next Up: Lorenz, Aakif, Makoa, Sasha, Ishirou, Cannibal Leader (stunned), Gelik, Pezock, Urza, Douena, Mahjik, Old Woman, Skeletons, Shiv Dragon, Cannibals 17+, Jask.
