Thy leaps over the fence- as he lands he looks up at the Hobgoblins, hand on his crossbow and speaks to them in their native tongue. "Backdoor is locked, anyone have a key?" His eyes lock with one Hobgoblin. I hope they know who I am, it will make this all the better

Surprise Round:
Vindu quickly pulls out his bedroll, unfurling it to use as a fire-beater.
Elaheil charges from the end of the building, surprise and the extra momentum of his curved blade slipping through the hobgoblins defenses to score a hit across its torso.
(HG2: 7 damage.)
Thynevenom hears the battle cry of his elven ally, and rushes around the end of the building, leaping the rail of the fence with ease. "Backdoor is locked, anyone have a key," he asks as he levels his crossbow, locking eyes with the closest hobgoblin.
Khurdan rushes forward under the distraction of Elaheil's charge, making a beeline for the water trough.

MisterLurch |

Round 1:
Khurdan continues his rush to the trough, reaches through the rails of the fence and fills a bucket laying beside it.
The hobgoblins, seemingly prepared for danger, react with admirable speed and discipline. The one just injured by Elaheil steps quickly to the side as another swings around outside his reach to bracket the elf between them. Their synchornized attacks are nearly enough to overwhelm the elf's martial skill, but he holds them at bay by the barest of margins.
The last hobgoblin duplicates Thynevenom's vault over the fence, though less gracefully, and closes with the tiefling, blade swinging smoothly inside Thynevenom's guard by a bare inch, wounding him badly.

Vindu the Chainbreaker |

Vindu winces from the roof as he catches a glimpse of the viscous hit Thy received. He seems to ponder for a moment before finally using his bedroll to begin beating the fire down just in front of him.
Perhaps I should go help with the fight.... No. No, this fire will be too much of a problem if I let it fester.

Round 3 - Final I forgot I was tracking rounds from when you first got to the trading post.
Elaheil steps out from between the hobgoblins, slashing into his previous target as he steps off its line. The lime-green creature howls in pain and the elven blade bites.
(HG2: 7 Damage.)
Thynevenom ducks aside from his foe's blade, getting a short, jabbing punch into the hobgoblin's short ribs. A small grunt of pain rewards his efforts.
(HG2: 2 Damage.)
Making it look easy, Vindu extinguishes the flames in the one spot highest on the roof.
Meanwhile, as if to mock Vindu's efforts, the flames spread in either direction along the edges of the roof.

MisterLurch |

@Thynevenom: I am not really sure what you mean to accomplish with your post. Elaheil is already on the other side of the hobgoblin without you moving, and so far as I can tell, you did not make any action that would provoke an AoO.
Facing is no longer a factor in combat in pathfinder. Meaning that it doesn't matter if you are "behind" a character or not in combat, as it is too fluid for facing to play a part.
Flanking does give the characters doing the flanking an advantage in combat to reflect the difficulty in defending oneself from multiple attackers, but that is already established by Elaheil's positioning and would require no further action on your part.
Sorry for the wall of text, but I am unsure what your actions are.

MisterLurch |

Round 4: Final
Elaheil slashes at the wounded hobgoblin putting an end to its miserable life before easily stepping away from his remaining foe and vaulting the fence as he comes to Thynevenom's aid.
Thynevemon takes a posture of maximum defense, giving up any attacks in favor of survival.
Vindu continues to beat at the fire, moving to the fast spreading end of the blaze. Swinging the bedroll with determination, the fire before him gutters and dies.
As if in mockery of their efforts, the fire spreads back into both of the recently extinguished places. Given how readily it seems to be able to spread among the thatch, both Vindu and Khudan are certain that without their efforts the roof would be an inferno now. But without a bit of luck or more people fighting the blaze, the fire seems likely to outpace their efforts.

Khurdan crosses the yard once more, carrying a bucket of water. He flings it up onto the corner of the roof, expertly re-extinguishing the fire on the corner.
Again displaying a surprising level of tactical coordination, the two hobgoblins move to bracket Elaheil and the more badly wounded hobgoblin snarls at his companion.
Rather than simply attacking Elaheil the one he has been fighting the longest takes a considered risk, kicking at the elf's legs in an attempt to trip him! Reacting immediately to the opening provided, Elaheil slashes into the exposed leg.
(HG1: 5 Damage.)
Unable to stop the assault on his balance, the world spins around Elaheil and he finds himself on the ground with both hobgoblins towering over him, and a blade flashing down for his life. Once more, if not for the magical defense of the shield spell, Elaheil would have taken a deadly wound; the disc of force the only thing between the hobgoblin's blade and Elaheil's own precious flesh.

Round 6: Final
Elaheil quickly rolls from between the hobgoblins, gaining the distance he needs for a quick spell. With a word of power and a fanning motion of his hands, a spray of colored lights washes over the hobgoblins. Overwhelmed by the assault on its senses, the more injured of the two collapses to the ground, senseless. The other shakes its head, paws at its eyes, and locks its gaze on Elaheil once more. With a grating voice it says something in its foul language.
Thynevenom falls back from the threat posed by the hobgoblins, re-crossing the fence and getting clear of the reach of their blades.
Vindu, with a growl of frustration, continues beating at the fire but with no success.

(Elaheil: 7 damage.)
Elaheil steps over to the unconscious and prone hobgoblin and, with a quick and economical stab, tears the creature's throat out.
(HG3: 7 damage.)
Thynevenom rushes to the trough, calling to Khurdan, ""Help our elf friend while I assist with the blaze. Leave the bucket and help him - I doubt his defenses hold up much longer." When Khurdan surrenders the bucket, Thynevenom takes it and hurries to the burning building.

All too well acquainted with how hard it is to land a telling blow on Elaheil, the hobgoblin attacks this new threat, stepping neatly out from between the encircling foes before he does. Vindu, over the past couple of seconds, notices both his ineffectiveness and the scorched state of his previously new bedroll and decides he would be better off using water. As such, he quickly scans for another bucket as he leaps off the roof.

Elaheil Ambara |

Grimacing at the blow that finally landed, Elaheil sways slightly but steels himself as he and battle wounds are old friends. Realizing the precarious state he would be in if he rejoined the fight. Feeling that he did his fair share he salutes Kurdhan with his sword "I leave the glory of the kill to you good sir."
He sheathes his sword as he goes and and grabs a bucket plunging it into the water and moving on quickly to throw the water up onto the corner hoping to stop the fire from spreading out of reach.

Either this door or the back door will do but please I do not wish to see more families suffer a loss of loved ones."

MisterLurch |

So, it is a move action to get to the trough, a move action to fill the bucket, a move action (at least one) to get to the burning section of roof, and an ranged touch to throw the water up on the fire.
@Elaheil - I will leave off the second set of actions for the summary this round, and include them for the next round.
The "AC" for throwing the water up to the roof is 10 for the edge, 15 for the squares in the second row, and 25 for the peak of the roof. (see the zones I have marked.) I am also putting in a "creature" to identify the fires so I don't have to guess which squares you want to target.
Round 7: Final
Elaheil leaves the hobgoblin to the tender mercies of Khurdan, and rushes to help fight the fire, filling a bucket with water as soon as he reaches the trough.
Thynevenom takes his bucket and flings the water up onto the roof, extinguishing the fire that had started to climb toward the peak. He then goes to the door, pounding on it and trying to convince those inside to come out. He can hear crashing sounds and shouts from inside, but not much else.
Vindu abandons the bedroll method, darting between flames and dropping off the roof and running to the trough.
The water level in the trough is dropping, and it seems likely that soon someone will have to operate the pump.
