Hey I am new to this site but I am not new to gaming.
I have a lengthy campaign I would like to run set in the dnd ghostwalk setting, I have modified the rules where applicable for pathfinder and I need players.
You must at least have skype to play, I am looking in the map tools and what not but it is not a requirement yet.
I need 1 to 5 players.
1 player MUST be human and MUST be a female sorceress or a male monk with at least one very specific feat which I will explain in detail if this is agreeable. Whether or not its 4 or 5 players really depends on the rest of the party build.
My skype is Sadiramaniac, or you can email me at pathfinderfanadrian at gmail for more details.
Character rules (in case you are interested)
6 stats, 4d6 drop the lowest.
2 traits (pathfinder society traits are allowed but your char must be from the specified region)
The main language isn't common, its "trade tongue" bear that in mind please.

Sounds good and I hope you're able to get something going. In your original post you mention you have conversion files for fitting Ghostwalk into the Pathfinder rules. Are these something you could share, maybe via email, and if so would you be open to that? Like I said I love the campaign and would love to see what you came up with. And it would save me a lot of time if I were ever to try and run it myself.

How about this, if I get more people interested and preferring to do it by forums then I will do so. You have to understand I have never did a game through forums though so you'll have to bear with me on that but I still need character concepts and history emailed to me save for the history of the specific human character I mentioned.
EDIT: I don't have files, I have hand-written notes on how some of the stuff I use from the system is suppose to work in pathfinder

It would be helpful if anyone interested in the special role lets me know before they make it so I can explain details too. Anyone who knows the setting ought to gather what makes the human monk or sorc special, and I would generally prefer someone who knows the realm at least a little to be in that role.

Alright, specific rules for chars then for forums since that seems to be the popular choice. Bear in mind its all hand written which means I will have to type it all out here rather then read as I planned :)
My friend MAY play the human sorceress but if you guys are more interested in being the female sorc or male monk let me know she can easily do another role
stats, 6
4d6 drop the lowest
all normal races are allowed as well as tieflings, aasimar, and tainted ones(a tainted one template can be found in the ghostwalk book)
-If you have a special race you want to be please send the details of the race with your proposed character and I will let you know if it fits the realm.
I will reward a small amount of bonus experience for characters with backgrounds that closely fit the realm its based in so read up on the book if you have a copy... if you want a pdf of ghostwalk to review let me know I own the book and the pdf. But I need to backgrounds so you all can know personally how you ended up in the beginning scenario :)
Starting at level one, in the nation of Bazareene, capitol city Hazuk. (this will make more sense once you have a chance to glance over the book)
This also means I am using the gods from this realm. Please EMAIL me your character sheets, I am weird and I like to have such things on paper in front of me and not on the screen when I tweak with encounters and what not.
EDIT: Any questions on how the ghostwalk feats and spells will work with pathfinders I will also answer.
Remember my email is pathfinderfanadrian at gmail

I'll go ahead and wait until you have the full details and character creation guidelines set up before attempting to rough draft a character. I'll have to consult with my wife as well before joining the campaign seeing as how we have multiple campaigns already going on at home and I'd like to see where I am schedule-wise. As of right now, I'm saying put me down as a definite. I'll know for sure in three or so hours.

actually as an after thought... I own ghostwalk, core and advanced personally and pdf's of others I would have to look up to name so anything is allowed from those 3 specifically as far as fitting to a level 1 character. If you have a book you want to use for yours I need to see some kind of copy or reference to what you are using before I can make a decisions on it.
edit: and apparently back to one short of a full game... well if another pops up for forums then it is still on for forums.

P.S. i'd have to make a skype if it's not on message boards
i'll hold off on making a char. until I know wether or not i'm in ,also how do u feel about guns and the gunslinger i'm playing one in a campain with some friends and is the only class i have a decent understanding of ,but i'd be fine with doing something else if u don't want guns in the campain or if u hve any preticular class u'd want me to play (with the exceptoin of sorcerer i'm not really comferable with a caster rigth now)

Tare, question for you. Since it appears that we wouldn't be starting in Manifest is it safe to assume that you wouldn't want us to start with one of the ghost base classes? It's fine if so, I just wanted to check my options.
Edit*
Also, what's the general idea you have for the game? Thinking of backstory ideas and wanted to know what the idea might be, at least in a general sense. Are we "standard" adventurers, do we work as merchants, etc? Just trying to figure out how we fit into the world and your game so I can come up with a character to fit that.

Yep, just figured that was a given but I dropped the lowest in my build workup.
Speaking of, I'm working on the build today at work but gmail is blocked here so I'll have it sent out tonight when I get home.
Jonasty...looks like melee character and Cleric are left for us. which do you prefer? I don't have any preference, but am reviewing the book again this afternoon, and plan on working on concept.

I was thinking it might fit pretty well especially with the sorceress you already had in mind. :-)
Question. You mentioned you had the APG as well as the Core Pathfinder book. I'm looking to take the Master of the Four Winds alt build of the monk. Would that be ok? I've got something in mind for the character backstory that uses that as a hook/plot point. If not I can go straight monk but I wanted to get your thoughts.
