I noticed the Tainted one template has a LA+1 in the 3.5 rules. How do you handle this in this game?

its still a +1 level adjustment to your character it means you will take longer to get to second level but you gain everything listed as the powers, alertness feat is just the pathfinder one as well

could you email me now before you get too far into the char if you are planning a tainted one? I have special tainted one information only :)

Filllup, are you still working on a character?

alright everyone but Filllup has submitted very nice and thought through characters... I dont have a character from Filllup but given that he is a rogue he doesnt need to join at the start anyway(if he makes a char and joins at all for that matter) I will be posting Lyra's responses until she is able to be online she just got done moving.

Tare, since I've noticed that you haven't heard from Fillup - I would like to suggest my character for Ghostwalk campaign - also the sneaky rogue - Victor Hakov.

I also must admit that this would be my first time playing - so I do hope you have patience for a beginner player like myself.

I've benn having some problems with my scanner and and can't get any software that wil allow me to make one on my computer to work so I will not get my character to you in time so count me out.
srry it took me so long to post this i spent a pretty long time trying to get that stuff to work and i haven't been able to get on my computer as much as i'd like to recently

Victor Hakov

Character background:

Only a few call him Vic. Vic's life was predestined the moment he was born. His mother was an elven ranger who was a part of caravan between Sura-Khiri and Khiras. His father was a friendly human tradesman. What seemed to be at the beginning as an infatuation grown into the passionate love of two different yet similar beings. But this relationship was never meant to last - just a few months after the only child was born the Yuan-Ti attacked the caravan on the road to Sura-Khiri while Victor was sleeping soundly in his mothers backpack. A backpack, that his mother was trying to hide away seeing the imminent battle. While searching for the place to conceal it, the Yuan-Ti warrior sneaked from behind and struck her down his curved sword. Her body that sheltered the backpack was the only reason young Victor survived. Only after a few hours the two guards patrolling the area from Khiras encountered the slaughtered caravan. When they came they were wordless - In the wind there was only sound of dripping blood and smell of recent ambush, because Yuan-Ti have not left even one breathing soul behind, or so they thought. One guard run to the city and screamed about the ambush, while the other was searching through the remains. When Victor's father heard the grim news he and few others whose family members also were a part of caravan, blindly took arms and run enraged towards the nearest known Yuan-Ti outpost with hope to intercept the possible survivors. There were none, and much to their surprise that was the other take-no-prisoners massacre that Yuan-Ti planned for this day.

Thus Victor as orphan was born that day. But he knows nothing of those tragic events, and this lack of knowledge will haunt him to the end of his days.

Only a few knew of this child and none decided to take care of him, so he was left to the orphanage, and still as an infant given to the foster parents. But that merely was the beginning of struggle in Victor's life. Foster parents were physically and mentally abusive towards him, hating him for being different than the other children. They were pushing him into the life of crime, and punishing him severely for any sign of disobedience. As an effect of any kind of repetitive action he also got used to the this hardship, secretly planning his getaway. When he was just a teenager he eventually escaped from this horrible home to live on a streets of whole Bazareene. His perception, quick fingers , agility in combat and shadows were naturally developed through many years of survival as a vagrant. He met many similar to him characters during his life and tried to learn as much as possible just by watching them perform in this nimble profession. He has never expected much from life except to have food and roof over his head, and that was probably the reason why he managed to avoid attraction from the The Golden. He was never meant to be a leader nor the well spoken noble, and he cared little for such things as charm, or good looks. He know what he sees and that's the only way he wants to endure his journey.
Such life is never easy but while working for some gold, or food and place to sleep, and more than occasionally deciding to steal something for himself he finally felt that the street was his true home where no one would punish him for being just himself. At least until he gets caught.

Oh boy oh boy... this party is gonna get all sorts of amusement.

so the person who is suppose to play lyra never logs on or answers my messages if there is anyone out there willing to play a dragonblooded sorceress please say so and I will send you the info and you can jump right on in.

A quick note to tell everyone this is a fun campaign and Lyra the sorceress would be a cool character to pick up.

Please join us and save the party from the druid that can't hit anything.

Bump, Still looking for someone to play Lyra... they don't even have to post every single day I just need someone to fill the role I would hate to have the char fall in to npcness.

Last call for someone to play the role as Lyra before she is doomed to be an npc as I am tired of trying to find someone for her.

Alright this isn't a call to fill Lyra's role but a call for another player in general... seems one of the current ones are unable to participate so a general spot is open.

Just a heads up, there is an empty spot to fill here... Could likely use a healer.

I could really use one more in this campaign, healer would be nice but another member in general would still be useful

This is a good campaign, still in its early steps. We have currently have three players: two active and one over active (me). Tare's got some intriguing stuff that he's lining up and it would be a shame if he can't run it due to lack of players.

Okay, so here are my rolls for stats.

so that means ive got 16, 12, 13, 16, 14, and 16. woooo! awesome rolls! =D
