GM Mazra
I have set you up in the entry area of the Stockade. You have a Surprise Round if you wish to take it.
Garrath's Initiative: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Elektra's Initiative: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Kelvin's Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Stone's Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Brandark's Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Kelvin, Garrath, Elektra, Stone then Brandark.
@Elektra - You do not have the "plenty of time" required to Take 20 in this situation. You could Take 10 though, as you are not immediately threatened.
Brandark Plainswalker
Who is the king ? Brandark looks a bit confused as he starts to walk towards the throne room.
GM Mazra
Essentially everyone has time to ready themselves, you will not be noticed until someone passes the first set of double doors leading into the Throne Room. So go ahead and move your tokens as part of your actions. If you need another Surprise Round, then go for it. The Goblins in the Throne Room now were from a returning scouting party. You had an opportunity to run into them when you went back to camp, but you just missed each other. They are now doing the silly things that Goblins do, instead of the smart things like getting help to better defend the stockade.
Brandark Plainswalker
My first move would have put me to O14
Second surprise round
Brandark goes lumbering into the throne room.
GM Mazra
Goblin Patrol Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Goblin Dogs Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Surprise Round One
Kelvin puts away Ripnugget's Dogslicer and draws his Longbow.
GMPC Garrath Garrath Greatsword in hand moves toward the Throne Room.
Elektra, Stone and Brandark does the same.
Surprise Round Two
Kelvin sends an arrow into a surprised Goblin Dog (#1). It lets out a brief wail before falling to the ground on its way to where mangy ugly beast go when they die.
Brandark lumbers into the room. He sees another Goblin and Goblin Dog in the room to his right.
Garrath, Stone and Elektra can take a single action in the second Surprise Round. I know that Garrath is not feeling well, so I may GMPC Garrath tomorrow.
Round One
Go ahead with Round One actions. Party goes first, then Goblins and Goblin Dogs.
Brandark Plainswalker
Round 1
Brandark with a grin, lumbers towards the dog and patrol.dog 2
attack: 1d20 + 4 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 4 + 4 + 1 = 26
Mods BAB,STR, Hate, due to being at work, don't know mods for power attack, but please include it on attack and damage
damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Please see above about power attack, and assume I am using it
Edit, I am shocked, I hit something. :)
Brandark Plainswalker
Found those numbers, subtract 1 from my to hit, and add 4 to my damage. I forgot masterwork in my calculations. :(
So totals were 25 to hit, and 12 damage before Elektra's buff. :)
GMPC Garrath
Second Surprise Round
Garrath moves into the Throne Room and engages a Goblin Dog (#3).
Round One
Garrath attacks with his Greatsword.
Greatsword: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 222d6 + 3 + 6 ⇒ (3, 6) + 3 + 6 = 18
Power Attack and Furious Focus. Saving his Rage.
He drops the hapless Goblin dog.
Garrath you are missed. Get well soon.
Goblins say You be Food
Kelvin still has his Round One actions.
A Goblin (#1) backs up to the North Door and pulls out his Shortbow.
Another Goblin (#2) moves and pulls out his bow.
The third Goblin (#3)with bow in hand begins to cry, and fires an arrow at the big Longshanks; but the arrow careens off a stud of his Studded Leather Armor.
Goblin 3 Shortbow: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 131d4 ⇒ 3
You can go ahead with Round Two actions. We can summarize later.
Brandark Plainswalker
Round 2
Brandark lumbers over the fallen dog, and hammers into the 2 goblins on the north wall.
Attacking 1
attack: 1d20 + 4 + 4 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (17) + 4 + 4 + 1 + 1 - 2 = 25
damage: 1d10 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 4 = 9
Elektra, how long does that diviners touch last ?? I could say something about the touch. :b
GM Mazra

Elektra gives Brandark a little insight.
Stone's Crossbow bolt sticks into one of the Goblins (#2). The now scared Goblin draws his Shortbow wincing in pain.

Another Goblin (#1) draws his Shortbow.
And the third fires an arrow at Garrath, but misses.

Between Stone's bolt and Brandark, Goblin (#2) will be gone. Kelvin and Garrath still have initiatives in Round Two. This is an easy fight.
GM Mazra
Round Two Summary
Again an arrow from Kelvin sails wide.
Garrath takes a step and kills a Goblin (#3).
Elektra gives another touch of inspiration to the Cavalier.
Stone readies his Scimitar and Shield
Brandark sends another wicked little Goblin (#2) to a fiery great beyond.
Seeing the Goblin Dogs and other Goblins quickly get slaughtered, the last Goblin (#1) drops its bow and puts its hands up.
Victory again!
Brandark Plainswalker
With a grimmace, Brandark somehow manages to stop his axe from striking home on the last goblin.
What should we do with this one He asks while resting the blade of his axe on the goblins neck.
Brandark Plainswalker
Brandark saws lightly on Podthistles neck.
Answer them. . .
Not drawing bluod, but trying to scare him to answering clearly
Goblins say You be Food
"Podthickle not like other Goblins. Podthickle does not like taste of Longshanks. Dog is tasty," the little Goblin quickly wanders off topic, but quickly recovers when Brandark performs a little sawing action with the blade of his Waraxe. "Ouch. That hurts. There is big Bugbear. He hates longeared Longshanks. He now has Ripnugget's Harem. I too would like Ripnugget's Harem," the little Goblin begins to wander again.
After Brandark, not so subtly, reminds him to stay on task, "There are other Longshanks. Only see big male with scary face shield. Never seen female Longshanks. But others have. One is dark. The other is light. The light one has arm like demon. Other Goblins scared of this Longshanks. But other Goblins now dead. I guess no longer scared of Longshanks."
Brandark Plainswalker
Brandark roughly shifts the goblin to Elektra's care.
Let him know if he runs, he will not make it.
Brandark Plainswalker
Brandark hoists his shield, and slowly starts to make his way down the stairs.
taking 10 on perception to give me an 18, or 20 vs stonework
Brandark waits until Kelvin checks the door, and then pulls his spike out.
Brandark then hoists his shield, and slowly starts to make his way down the stairs.
taking 10 on perception to give me an 18, or 20 vs stonework
Kelvin Fleetwood
Stealth: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12 -- bloody really!!!
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
In goblin to Podthickle, Kelvin (and he translates for the group), "if you do bad, I will kill you slowly." then turning to Brandark, "let me lead the way down, and you keep a close look on our "friend" here." and he heads to the door heading down.
Brandark Plainswalker
That is why I had two choices Boss Man. :)
Order I think, Kelvin, Brandark, Stone, Elektra, Garrath. This gives a hard hitting fast mover at the back, and allows Kelvin a chance to step over me if he hast to retreat fast.
GM Mazra
The bottom of the stair appears to just open up into a room.
Garrath Tricks the Giants
Garrath follows at the rear of the group, keeping an eye open for anything coming up from behind. "This place is old, yes? Probably lots of places for nasty things to hide in wait for us. Keep an eye out for hidden doors and tricks."
Kelvin Fleetwood
Stealth: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
Putting a hand to his ear, then pointing down the hall, Kelvin signals that he hears something. He signals Brandark to hold up a moment as he sneaks forward.
edit: DM, where are we on the level 2 map please. It is all blacked out.
Brandark Plainswalker
At Kelvins signal, Bradark pauses and waits to see what Kelvin does.
edit, wrong alias.
GM Mazra
You were expecting them and Kelvin could hear them. They have been waiting for you. Plus you made noise removing the spike and lumbering down the stairs, so no Surprise Round.
A single lantern hangs from a hook on the wall next to where the stairs enter this room from the north. Several rickety doors open into this room, and a few discarded dog pelt rugs lie forgotten in the northeast corner. Kelvin sees three hideous Goblin women, the stink of Goblin sweat and a foul perfume invades your nostrils. A big Bugbear, with an impressive looking longbow, appears to be directing the Goblin women. Kelvin will be repulsed when he notices that the Bugbear has a necklace of Elven ears around his neck.

damage: 1d10 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 + 4 = 18
You said he dropped them, and yes, we would have made sure that the goblin with the crush on elektra didn't have any weapons. :)
Garrath Tricks the Giants
Garrath rushes down the stairs, pausing only momentarily at the revolting sight of the goblin women, and nearly retching when he sees the Bugbear, and realizes that this is that foul creatures harem. Gods PLEASE don't let them have been breeding He comes to a stop near one of the "women" and thrusts his greatsword at the hideous creature, attempting to skewer her.
Attack Harem girl 2: 1d20 + 3 + 4 + 2 - 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 3 + 4 + 2 - 2 + 2 + 1 = 19
STR+BAB+Furious Focus-Power Attack+Reckless Abandon+Masterwork (note AC -2 for Reckless Abandon as well)
Damage: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (3, 4) + 10 = 17
Today's Villain
As the Bugbear sees the party rushing down the stairs, he moves into an open door that appears to be a hallway heading West, "Orik!"
The Bugbear knocks and arrow and sends it toward the big Shoanti Human. But the shot sails way over Garrath's head.
Comp. Longbow: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 91d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
As the party enters the room they can see an open door to the South. Other Goblin women can be seen in the room.
