An insane and unbelievable amount of bad stuff is happening in Desertsands.

Female Human Druid (Restorer)

If you just roll initiative for us things will go quicker.

Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

I'm okay with you rolling a group initiative too.
initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19

M Half-Elf Inquisitor 1 - 10/10 hp; AC 17 (tch 11; ff 16); CMD 15; Fort +4; Ref +1; Will +4; low-light vision; Perception +8; Sense Motive +7; Init +1

Not shared initiative... But you should make our initiative rolls.

Initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

I did not have time to roll initiative or I would have done it. Anyway, the bandits and guards will all move on the same initiative - 20 - since they were fighting before you showed up.

The gaurds (from top to bottom) stab their halberds at the bandits.

Attack Top: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 Damage Top: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Attack Top Middle: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 Damage Top Middle: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Attack Bottom Middle: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 Damage Bottom Middle: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Attack Bottom: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 Damage Bottom: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

And none of them hit.

The red, green, blue, and purple bandits stab with their rapiers.
RedBanditAttack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22 RedBanditDamage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 CitConfirmation: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 - only 5 damage
GreenBanditAttack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 GreenBanditDamage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
BlueBanditAttack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13 BlueBanditDamage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
PurpleBanditAttack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 PurpleBanditDamage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

The orange bandit runs up to the second guard and stabs.
OrangeBanditAttack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 OrangeBanditDamage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

The pink bandit runs up to the fourth guard and stabs.
PinkBanditAttack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14 PinkBanditDamage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

The two orcs stand still, waiting to see how things go.

Half-Orc Goliath Druid 3/Warrior 1 | HP 32/39, 5 nonlethal | AC 20 : T 10 : FF 20 : CMD 17 | F +9 : R +4 : W +8 | Init +0 Perc +11 S.M. +2 | Greataxe +8, 1d12+9 Current Buffs: bull's strength

Are the orcs from Sulan's tribe? Or a different one?

"When are these people going to learn to close the gates and fight from the walls? That's what they are there for."

Sulan looks and notes that the bandits are mostly concentrated to the northeast.

"Akûn Baröka!" he shouts, as he points at the group.

Thorny vines and cacti begin to sprout in a large area, with the bandits at the leading edge.

Casting entangle. Affects the green area. Reflex DC 13 to save. Since the plants in the area are probably thorny brush or cacti, this will also probably do 1 damage on a failed save (see below).

entangle text from PRD:
This spell causes tall grass, weeds, and other plants to wrap around creatures in the area of effect or those that enter the area. Creatures that fail their save gain the entangled condition. Creatures that make their save can move as normal, but those that remain in the area must save again at the end of your turn. Creatures that move into the area must save immediately. Those that fail must end their movement and gain the entangled condition. Entangled creatures can attempt to break free as a move action, making a Strength or Escape Artist check. The DC for this check is equal to the DC of the spell. The entire area of effect is considered difficult terrain while the effect lasts.

If the plants in the area are covered in thorns, those in the area take 1 point of damage each time they fail a save against the entangle or fail a check made to break free. Other effects, depending on the local plants, might be possible at GM discretion.

Botting will begin on monday morning. Partly my fault because I got super busy, what with getting 1,500+ mtg cards for my b-day.

Female Human Arcanist (occultist) 1

"Again, so soon?" Khazima mutters, pushing her glasses higher on her nose with the back of one thumb. Moving forward, she runs a string of beads between her fingers, pulling strands of magic from it like spun glass. As she raises a hand with a clatter, another eagle unfolds from nowhere, sun glittering from its talons and beak.

Move action to move to my current position; standard action, spending a point from my arcane reservoir to summon a celestial eagle. It full-attacks on the bandit in front of it, flanking with the guard.

Beak: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 3 + 2 = 20 damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Talon 1: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 3 + 2 = 20 damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Talon 2: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 2 = 6 damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Female Human Druid (Restorer)

Naerah wastes no time wading into battle. She rushes up behind one of Desertsand's guards, a man who's name she cant remember, but who she can recall giving a poultice for a bad case of sunstroke a few months ago.

"No worries man, she says reassuringly "well drive the vultures off!"

I'll charge and attack the orange bandit with my scimitar

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

She curses as her swing goes wide.

Still waiting on Anton.

In the mean time why not resolve the saving throws for Red. Orange, Green, and Blue against the entangle spell? Save is Reflex 13.

Go on without me. dealing with some stuff.

RedSave: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
OrangeSave: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
GreenSave: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
BlueSave: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Orange and Green are quick and manage to escape.

Anton will set up a flank with a guard.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 5 + 2 = 26
Damage: 1d3 - 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) - 1 + (6) = 6

The eagle deals 8 damage.

Naerah misses.

Ael is up.

CritConfirm: 1d20 + 5 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 5 + 3 = 15 No luck

Assuming Ael runs forward towards the bandit.

The guards all swing again.

Attack Top: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Attack Top Middle: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 Damage Top Middle: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Attack Bottom Middle: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Attack Bottom: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 Damage Bottom: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

The top middle guard sheers straight through Green.

The bottom guard slices Pink.

The bandits attack.
RedAttack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
OrangeAttack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
BlueAttack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
PinkAttack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
PurpleAttack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

2 Damage to Bottom Middle, and 9 to Bottom.

I go after Anton but I don't think my action will have any impact on what he does. FYI it looks like orange is still in the entangle zone so he will have to make a new DC 13 save at the end of my turn.

Sulan hefts his axe and rushes forwards.

Single 20' move from (S) to S. I don't think I allowed to charge along that line. Then I will attack the Purple Bandit. Take some pressure off the guard who is being double-teamed.

"Are you ready, little man?" he shouts at the bandit as he approaches.

"You think you guys are tough? Come on! Show me what you've got!"

Website problems look like they are over so hopefully we can get up to speed again.

Sorry folks, Paizo was giving me trouble and I was not able to warn you that I would be out of town all this week.

Botting Anton. Flank Sneak attacking Pink: Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 5 + 2 = 17 Damage: 1d3 - 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) - 1 + (6) = 6 Pink dies.

Sulan hits purple hard. RedSave: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17 OrangeSave: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14 BlueSave: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 Blue is entangled.

FYI: Red and Blue were already entangled and don't need to make any saves. They stay entangled until they take a move action to make either a strength check or escape artist check to get out. If they succeed on that but then fail to leave the area of the spell, then they make another save.

I don't Druid...

I see. In that case, waiting on the two ladies and the inquisitor.

You guys still out there?

It would appear that they are not. Sorry Sulan, but it looks like this campaign went inactive. I will give it a few more days.
