Well the spell is the Command spell, also first level. One of the options is "Halt" that forces the person to stand still for a round, or, you know, DANCE FOR ME FOOL!!!
Should be fun! ^_^
I also plan on taking Spell Focus (Enhancement), man Claptrap is turning into quite the manipulative little snot :(

So? What do we want to do?
We should probably leave soon as I'm pretty sure the ENTIRE ARMY is headed our way, but I could stay behind easilly enough.
Back to base? Make plans to get tools necessary to detach and haul the tank? Metal cutters, rope an pullys, muleback chords and the such?
Or leave him to his fate and never look back? >:)

Gawrsh. Not famous, just someone that really enjoys PbP and tries to chime in when threads pop up talking about how it works or how fun it can be, hehe. Venture-Lieutenant Hmm is the celebrity but we've been playing together in games since early 2015 so I get to say that I knew her before she was famous around here :)

*cough* There's also a certain auttaine lurking around here who was part of that goblin musical that Hmm talked about in the blog ;)

That calls to me is so many ways. By planning for the worst I am sometimes pleasantly surprised and usually never shocked. Pessimism is how I live my live and it does tend to confuse the naturally optimistic. I actually find optimism wears down my mental reserves quicker than my natural pessimistic state.

I'm strange, I always assume and plan for things to go badly, but I also assume I'm planning for nothing. It's very strange, cognitive dissonance at it's finest, pessimism and optimism in equal amounts.

Professionally, I am paid to be as pessimistic as possible - I work in Nuclear Safety so imagining the worst possible outcome (and how to deal with it) is kind of my job!!! I'm kind of neutral to optimistic in real life though... Good to hear you've got some coping mechanisms sorted CL4P-TP...

I'm by no means a bubbly, always sunshiny person (shy + introvert) but I try to be as pleasant as I can and keep myself in good spirits. Bad days happen of course, but I've been surprised to have a couple of coworkers comment on how positive/optimistic I tend to be. Though I work in healthcare and I can see how that sort of outlook might be hard to maintain over years in that type of field.

Honestly, I worry more about myself when I have those periods where I just feel 'meh'. It's like a feeling of being disconnected from everything that's happening around you.

At any rate though, I'm glad you've found something that works for you CT! Keep hanging in there, okay?

Healthcare is scary for mental sanity, props for surviving that. I will agree with the disconnected thing being the worry. My depression will get out of control and I disassociate with everything. Though that has not happened in sometime.

"You will understand with their methods, frame distortions, and exactly how the stars use making love in promoting their governmental times." LOL WTF!! XD that one is a hoot!

So... Blekk hasn't posted in almost a month.

Are we looking at another recruitment after Lomrick's? Or maybe contacting a runner up from the last one?

Inactive

If we do (unless we're going with the runner-up option like Rav mentioned) then I'm voting for trying to find someone that at least one or two of us are already familiar with - someone from one of Zed's other games, someone we've played with before or GM for before or whatever. I say this because even though the setting in some ways makes it easier to add new faces, having to stop and re-recruit every few months is getting kind of old.

The other option would be to just leave it at 4 players but I'm not sure if the AP is designed with 4 or 6 players in mind.

I have been pretty meticulous with the resources that I have used and have kept very good track. However, that is rather normal for me as I can tend to be a bit of a bookkeeper :)
Heck, I even marked down the vial of spittle that he kept from the Gibbering Horror and the Brass Orrery that is currently strapped to his head :)
(I even noted the crossbow bolt that he used)

I am worried about the fight with Lomrick, I might not be all that useful :P
We shall see!

Folks, that takes us right up to the end of 'To World's Unknown' and the end of Book 1 proper of the Legendary AP - Congratulations!!!

...and now, the bad news, I have increasingly found it difficult to get as motivated as I should be to run this campaign and have decided to bring the story to an end. I really love all of your characters so it's not down to you folks... I think it is more that we have gone through so many character losses and the re-recruitments haven't all stuck that I couldn't face another attempt as I face up to the fact that Blekk has disappeared - there is also the fact that I am running this AP for another group who have got quite far ahead of you - in practice, running an AP for two groups isn't something to be advised!!!

I'm going to let you folks finalise here in Lomrick's Manse with Relstanna (if you want to) and then write something to close the story out... once again, thanks for the shared adventure and apologies for stopping us here.

Ya! That makes my first completed AP in about 5.5 years on these forums!
Major milestone for me here :)
Meds and other complications throughout the years have left me rather inconsistent with my posting, and so I have never actually finished one before -__- Hugely happy! :)
And ya, as happy as that is, it is accompanied with mixed feelings :S
I am loving my character, Claptrap, he has really been an interesting and eccentric character to play, and his quirks were a blast, (hope they wernt too much for the rest of you!!), and I loved having to constantly come up with an unusual outlook or reaction to whatever situation we came to. He has been great for helping me refine my storytelling talents and he was truly a blessing to play and I enjoyed playing with you guys immensely (picking on Palo was fun too, and I got one last one to play on Relas >:D)
All that said, with my current situation, letting the game lay where it is may be for the better, it would allow me to put more energy into my medication situation and my schooling, so the timing is probably a good thing.

Thanks for having me, and thanks for putting up with me :)

Also, I will put up 2, maybe 3 more posts to get Claptraps interactions finalized and set him up in the big ol' world of Zel-Argose.

Thanks Zed, for being such a great GM :)

Have fun with that one Palo! You have no idea how long I have been waiting to pull that off... >_>
Heck, I have been sitting on that one for months!!
Now, because the campaign is ending, I embellished it a bit beyond what I normally should be able to do, but it might make a good laugh!!

Thanks for the fun we have had this campaign Palo :) You have been a good sport with the jokes on your character.

Aww! Rav you made me a present!

And, with that, I'm going to drop the curtain on our fun little adventure into the universe... thanks to all of you crazy folks who came along for the ride :)
