Ryzztyl |

Ryzztyl lashes out with his longspear at the approaching red kobold, but he isn't able to bring it around in time for effect.
AoO: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (6) + 0 = 6

Oozulla |

Both enemy kobolds might be dead soon, but we might use one to get all information about their tribe.
In case, I still have action I ready stabilize spell to cast if someone in close range 25ft fall unconscious.
You will roll attack for my slave, as previously. I will take him as my familiar or animal companion if he crits and kills another flyer :)

Szzlax |

Sszlax hisses at the red kobold and grins as his attack misses then moves to bring the earthshaker down on him once again.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Blokpug |

Blokpug will load and fire a bolt at the Red Kobold.
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 91d6 ⇒ 2
I am at work and can't remember what the minus is for firing into melee, but I miss regardless.
Blokpug looks down at his crossbow and mutters,"Worthless."

GM T.A.U. |

Oozulla, I was tempted to misinterpret your instruction and having the slave decide upon who he must fire his arrow: for him it could be hard to tell who is the 'dragonkin' in the mass of kobolds and wyvarans... since the two wyvaran can fly but Fyrenmar have just now breathed fire! XD
Oozulla orders her slave to shoot, he does so, but the Wyvaran's armor protect her. The black witch also is ready to cast her Stabilize cantrip.
Blokpug fires at the Red Kobold (I assumed the one menacing Ryzztyl, since both of them are currently engaged in melee) but the bold miss
Szzlax's earth breaker instead hit his adversary dealing him 5 damage. The southern red kobold seems very vital, since he is still alive and combative.
End of Round 3
Round 4
Enemy 1:
The first red kobold goes on a defensive stance, but doing so his strike is non so effective against Yighuk.
Group A: Go Yighuk!

Yighuk |

Yighuk continues to circle his opponent, ducking a lenitive the kobolds lenitive attack. He then retaliates with his own.
Axe w/ Flank: 1d20 + 4 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 4 - 1 + 2 = 17
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2
Tail w/ Flank: 1d20 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (13) - 1 + 2 = 14
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Bite w/ Flank: 1d20 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (7) - 1 + 2 = 8
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

GM T.A.U. |

Fyrenmar |

"Unless you want to be burned again by a true dragons breath I suggest you stand down little one. You face two powerful casters and your allies are all but dead. We have questions and if you answer them I may see fit to let you live." Fyrenmar directs his considerable will on the red kobold fighting Ryzztyl trying to cow him into submission.
Intimidate: 1d2 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13
Thank god the DC is low. This may be enough.

Ryzztyl |

Sorry. Thought I had posted, but I was also away Friday afternoon (and am not generally online on weekends).
Ryzztyl hisses. "Do not worry then. As the Dragon is in my blood, I shall assist in sending you to Dahak... personally." The blue kobold steps away, his eyes glowing as he mutters an incantation.
5' step
Cause Fear DC 14 Will (fail=frightened for 1d4 ⇒ 4 rounds, otherwise shaken for 1 round).
Not sure if it stacks with the shaken from intimidate, but if so then it's panicked on a fail and frightened on a save

GM T.A.U. |

I knew you were usually offline in the weekends, so I waited for you to came back online. About the conditions, they stacks with the shaken from intimidate, what doesn't stacks is a double use of intimidate checks.
Enemy 2: The red kobold who was facing Ryzztyl drops his shortsword and begins to flee panicked. He moves, running away diagonally north-west, at his maximum full speed (and so outside of the map) and doing so he provokes an attack of opportunity from Ryzztyl too.
So Ryzztyl AoO and then
GROUP C: Szzlax, Oozulla, Blokpug and Oozzulla's slave.
updated map without the fleeing kobold Unless Ryz's AoO kills him, in this case I'll updated the map with his corpse later

Ryzztyl |

Ryzztyl lashes out with his spear, but the panicked kobold is too fast for it to connect.
AoO: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (8) + 0 = 8

Oozulla |

Oozulla saw her slave was hesitated where to shot and wasn't aiming carefully.
"Shot better! That wyvarn-kin should go down!"
Oozulla was pushing her slave to show his best, confirming he doesn't need to change his target. To bad in this position, her spells were pretty much useless, but she still was holding hands, ready to whisper word of shadow, if someone nearby will fall unconscious.
Slave: attack wyvaran (even if it is out of 100ft of bow increment)
Oozulla: ready stabilize

Szzlax |

Sszlax moves down a bit to keep his clan mate as a distraction to the red kobold. Then swings with his weapon into the red kobold.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 2 = 18 +2 for Flank
Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Sorry for the delay still getting back into the habbit of checking the boards regularly :P

Yighuk |

Yighuk scans the area after Szzlax sends the foe between them to the ground. Seeing no further resistance he kneels down to search the red kobold and then moves on to the fallen flyer.
"Well done. We have proven the Sootscale greater than both the warm bloods and this weak tribe. Let us search the bodies and return in triumph to our warrens."

Fyrenmar |

The red-scaled kobold looks disgustedly at one of the dead wyvarans. He then continues over to Yighuk and takes stock of the area. No. We will not return until things have been fully investigated. These humans trouble me. They are far too bold and will have to pay for that. One of them," he says nodding to one of the dead kobolds, "said they killed the group we ourselves were waiting to ambush. We need to find them. See if we can learn more. Then we can head back."

Oozulla |

Cast stabilize to keep other kobolds alive for interogation.
Oozulla carefully descended from the tree. She did some magic sending shadows around and then nodded approvingly to Fyrenmar words:
"I think you are right. They came here to fight humans. If they will know, that other kobolds live nearby - our tribe might be in danger. We need to chase vywarian and kill the rest of their tribe. Otherwise, chief will punish us for leaving living witnesses.
She noded to dead wyvarian and said: "My toy proved to be useful. I'd like to keep him alive for dirty work. As well, he might be a nice help, if we need to investigate other humans camp. Don't kill him, unless he makes something wrong."
"I tried to save some of foreigners with touch of shadow. Check, if some of them is alive. We may question them later"
If someone requires healing touch, please speak up, Oozulla is ready to use that.

GM T.A.U. |

On the battleground you can easily recover the 2 light crossbows and the 2 short swords the red kobolds previously used and dropped.
On the stabilized, but yet unconscious, body of the red kobold who faced Yighuk and Szzlax you found a potion, his studded leather armor and 17 bolts.
On the dead red wyvaran you found a scale mail (medium sized), 2 scrolls and what should be an unholy symbol of some god.(need a proper Kn Religion check)

Yighuk |

Yighuk bristles as the direct contradiction but considers his companions words. "I too would know the location of this other warren but we will never be able to catch the wyvaran and our first duty is to return our young to the tribe." Noting Oozulla stabilizing the remaining red kobold he says, "We take this one and the humans back. He will tell us what we need to know."

Fyrenmar |

"I am not referring to this weak clan fools," he says waving his hand at the unconscious kobold. "They couldn't even win with a stealth and flying advantage. They are barely worth notice. I am referring to the humans they said they ambushed. One of them was the leader of these egg thieves. We find them and search them. Then we may head back. We will need more than the 6 of us to take on another clan."

Szzlax |

Szzlax shrugs "Other biggies dead, no need to smash. We go home and eat. Unless others have food too. Then we should go find."

Yighuk |

"These" Yighuk indicates the foreign kobalds with a wave of his hand, "have do doubt already looted the humans they killed and we have no knowledge of how far away they may have ambushed them or how many of their tribe might be there. As for the humans we know where their fort is. Let us get our eggs to safety and then we can strike against them." Yighuk will retrieve the eggs while the group talks.

Fyrenmar |

"They attacked when we expected the humans to arrive, they can't be far away. You may head back to the warren but myself and Szzlax will find the humans. It maybe that the clan lied, weak as they were."
K:Religion on Unholy Symbol: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Spellcraft on Scroll 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Spellcraft on Scroll 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

GM T.A.U. |

This Unholy symbol seems very draconic but also strange: first it's similar to the one of Dahak but not so close, and so it also looks like your own personal birthmark.
Looking it more closely you discover that it should be also a different version of the symbol of Old Sharptooth too you saw craved in Tartuk's chamber.
The first scroll is a Scroll of Comprehend Languages, but you have no idea about the second one.

Yighuk |

After giving the arcane members of the party a chance to consider what their foes had been carrying Yighuk speaks up, "True they arrived when we expected the humans but that could mean they killed them at their warren and tracked them back or caught up with them only a half mile from here. We have no way of knowing. What we do know however is that the sun is high in the sky and one of the Wyvaran have escaped. It will outpace us and may bring more of it's tribe. We need to report to the Chief, get our eggs to safety and cover our trail as best we can."

Ryzztyl |

"As little as I care for our Chief, I do care for the tribe. Another tribe in some nearby unknown location, allied with wyvarns, while many of our forces are away scouting or hunting down these eggs... which also represent the future of our tribe."
"We must get back to protect these eggs and to prepare our tribe for potential rivals beyond the petty humans. Humans whose lair we have already located."
"At best we could also send word to our recent tatzlwyrm ally for further assistance, if she is not still near our lair."

Szzlax |

Sszlax shrugs "Don't care which, let's just go. I'm hungry."

Fyrenmar |

"Then go. We will spend no more than a half a day and then follow."
Plan to leave with Szzlax for a half day and see if we can't track them to the sight of the scuffle. Look for clues then head home. If we don't find them, head home anyway.

Oozulla |

"Before you depart, might be one of you would like to interrogate that one" Oozulla pointed at red kobold. "I can share a shadow of inner dragon and heal his wounds, but you need to secure him first. He might say how many wyvarians are in their tribe, how many warriors they might send back and other useful stuff".
Oozulla doesn't need to be mediator in this interrogator, but she is ready to assist

Yighuk |

"Fyrenmar you have been long from the tribe but you are part of it none the less. Do not forget that it is the tribe that is our strength. We should see to our task in full strength and not splinter off like these foolish warm bloods."
Turning to Oozulla, "This is good. The red will no doubt be able to tell us much. Let's bind him and get him back on his feet. He can answer questions and then serve the Sootscale with these humans."
"We should not dwell here long though. We don't know how long it will be before the other clan or the humans might learn of what happened here. The sooner we reach our own hold the better."

Fyrenmar |

"You'll excuse the Outcast for not thinking of the tribe first." he retorts. "I am only part of it out of convenience for the chief. Soon as my job is done I will be back to the outskirts within the hour. I will go alone if I must. I still have fear and fire as my weapons." He turns to leave in the direction the enemy came and ignores any protests.
This is probably stupid since he has no survival skills. I am just hoping Szzlax comes along or I am probably screwed.

Yighuk |

"You are of the tribe by blood and birth. Even in your exile you were of the tribe. Do you think the Chief found you by luck? That your name appeared in his mind from the Abyss? Do you think he is unaware of those who cared for you? No, the tribe knows it's own! You proved the bond yourself when, despite your pride, you returned when called. Our duty is clear here, our young need our protection and the tribe needs to know what we have found. Once these are done then we can plan the demise of our foes."

Oozulla |

"Fyrenmar, I think chief understands, that he need to reunite the tribe in light of upcoming events: first, war with mites, than, egg stealers, now, we have other tribe nearby. Even, if chief doesn't know about last one, we need to inform him. He will appreciate that. Don't you understand, how much responsibility he took, by returning us back and assigning to real mission? Remember, your fear will be useless against wyvarians and your fire won't hurt them, when they fly over your head and shoot you with their mighty bows. Fyrenmar, I need you to help us to interrogate prisoner."
Witch felt herself bad, screaming to the back of kobold, leaving in the woods, but she was trying to reason with him. Only one argument left: "Now it isn't tribe, it's you who are walking away! Are you willing to be outcast forever? Or you are ready to earn your title in the tribe?"
She understood his feeling: he knew the way, but no one was there for him to help him and follow. Several years ago, witch was subject of mockery. Some of her tribemates, were throwing stones, because of her error, and she left, because she had no power to fight. Now, Oozulla tried to keep Fyrenmar from leaving. She didn't want years of exile for him, while he recognises mistake he made leaving.
After her last argument, Oozulla went to red kobold, tied some ropes to keep him helpless and spend a moment to concentrate on her internal power. Than she moved her hand, making her shadow touch his scales and waited for him to regain consciousness.

Fyrenmar |

Witch felt herself bad, screaming to the back of kobold, leaving in the woods, but she was trying to reason with him. Only one argument left: "Now it isn't tribe, it's you who are walking away! Are you willing to be outcast forever? Or you are ready to earn your title in the tribe?"
The fire, red kobold turns and for a moment you think he might just stop. Instead he smiles a sinister smile. "My dear Oozulla I intend to earn much more." He then turns back to the forest and continues, with or without Szzlax.
I want to head in the direction the Wyvarans came and try and find the battleground between them and the humans. I figure since they arrived at the time we expected the humans means they are not far off. I'll spend a few hours doing this then head back to camp. If the others are not there I will head for the Sootscale tribe.

Szzlax |

Szzlax shrugs after all the debating and heads after Fyrenmar only commenting "Maybe more smashing for Szzlax!"

Yighuk |

Yighuk shakes his head at Fyrenmars stubbornness. Stepping to Szzlax he says, "Do not take unnecessary risks, return home by dawn and try and keep that one alive if you can. I'll see your belly is filled when you return safely."
With that he works with the others to bind the prisoners for a march and sets out for home.
"Blokpug, take the lead."

Oozulla |

Can I speak with red kobold from enemy tribe before we depart, if he is conscious now? Might be, his words will change the Yighuk intend to depart back.
