Sadly, while I am estactic that this game seems to be back, I sadly have no access to regular internet at the moment. Please feel free to DM/NPC it untill I can get back to regular posting. *Bows*
Sunset frowns under the brim of her hat and thinks.
Int Roll:1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
And may the DM add exposition :) ...

Voronwe Andosana |

Hold on, that's a big forest to go searching on the say so of one fellow: even one with fear deep in his eyes.
I turn to the man: Where did you see them? What did these people do? Would the Sherrif know anything about them?
I pat the flank of my mount, Pallas, and wind his reins around my hand as I look about, searching for inspiration.

Voronwe Andosana |

My survival is +6 (+7 in forest areas) so I can give it a try.
I head out in the direction indicated by the strange man.
I am asuming that we are at the Northern entrance to Sandpoint. Otherwise we'd have to cross a river or climb a wall to get straight into the forest
Perseval stands obediently as I begin examining the edges of the wilderness for any signs.
survival 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21

"Sunset" |

I have no tracking, nor will the character ever really have such skills. But, as pointed out by Persival, my Survival is. 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (12) + 0 = 12/ Well...she has some skill in it, just not very much. :P

Right, now unlike last time, i'll just fast foward to the encounter
After a day and a half of tracking down the suspects down the Varisian forests, you come up to a small cave in the thickest part of the forest, there are 3 figures inside but you are too far away to be able to make any details.

"Sunset" |

Looking at her companions, Sunset sighs,
"Well, me using my favorite toy is kind of a non-subtle approach." She glances through the scrub at the cave and its occupants.
Perception1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
"Any one got ideas on how to play this?" She asks.

Voronwe Andosana |

Maybe we should go say hello?
I look around at my peers with a shrug.
That old man's fear was all too real but for all we know these could be some strange folk he simply doesn't understand. I'm not too keen on leaping to attack people before they've done anything wrong.

"Sunset" |

Sunset just looks at Voronwe from beneath the brim of her hat.
"Well...considering the death and destruction behind us..." She replies quietly, letting her words trail off.
"Still, us going to them and them facing off against us...I can work with that..." She adjusts the rig at her wiast and shifts her hat slightly.

"Sunset" |

"Whoah! Hold up pardners!" Sunset calls to her companions and points towards the suspect area that has caught her 'eye'.
"Looks like yon folk aren't as hospitable to company after all." She warns, while edging closer to better look at said possible trap.

Durgen Grimhelm |

"Whoah! Hold up pardners!" Sunset calls to her companions and points towards the suspect area that has caught her 'eye'.
"Looks like yon folk aren't as hospitable to company after all." She warns, while edging closer to better look at said possible trap.
Durgen looks to where she pointed

As you close the gab, the figures notice you, two of them run deeper into the cave the other stays holding his ground, he raises his hands showing that he is unarmed. He is wearing a black cloaked robe and a silver mask. His skin is very pale green.

Hiro Protagonist |

Hiro does not like this setup at all. Can he see the figures that ran way? If so, how far away? He does not like enemies that hide and skulk and ambush and set traps. He distrusts those that hide behind masks.
PER 1d20 ⇒ 17 + 0
"Keep an eye on this one."
Hiro looks ready to dart after the figures that went into the cave.

Durgen Grimhelm |

As you close the gab, the figures notice you, two of them run deeper into the cave the other stays holding his ground, he raises his hands showing that he is unarmed. He is wearing a black cloaked robe and a silver mask. His skin is very pale green.
Durgen will attempt to identify what race he is using his Monster Lore ability
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

"Sunset" |

Sunset slows even more, her hand hovering over the small weapon at her hip.
"Okaay..." She replies to Durgen, even as she eyes the stranger.
"Hail and well met!" She calls out, still edging to get within 30 feet of the cave entrance.

"Sunset" |

Raises eyebrow at Hiro...
"What we have here...is a failure to comunicate..." She addresses them both, though her hand is still hovering over the weapon at her hip.

"Sunset" |

Sunset smiles,
"Ahh, now we're getting some where." She inclines her head.
"Now, where is it you are stopping us from being, I wonder?"
Bluff:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17 (Unskilled)
(Heck, it's worth a chance, the rube might spill something.)

"Sunset" |

Sunset does tip her hat to the guard,
"Well player sir, well played. Now, how about we all introduce ourselves and see about coming to some sort of accord." She suggests.
