I don't remember if we identified the types of traps they were, but if they were something like bear traps that could just be triggered and then safely passed by, that would be fine.

With his torch in his offhand Richard moves to the left keeping an eye out for traps and enemies.

If Colwyn tumbles past the yellow spider, I'm guessing he can take it out, and then once Red is gone the group on that side might be able to come around behind the middle group. Use their own strategy against them.

Wanting to eliminate the threat from one direction quickly, Xan lashed out at the wounded spider, wanting to finish it off so she and Richard could focus the other one down then move to assist elsewhere.

Niadroub Kliip stops what he's doing to guffaw at Reknar. Then, when the first spider or ettercap comes into view (probably cyan? The specific target isn't important), he'll hock a loogie at it. Only the spit doesn't come out as a small wad of phlegm, but as long stream of viscous bodily fluid that splatters onto its target and starts to slow it down.

Casting adhesive spittle which auto-hits, applying the penalties of a tanglefoot bag, but a successful DC 14 reflex save keeps it from being rooted.

Didn't 5' step ahead because this position is safe as far as flanking, etc. Can do it next round though. If something gets inside my reach I swap weapons. Also there is a spot next to Colwyn, or his own if he moves?

Colwyn grimaces as Richard and Xan close ranks against the two spiders, effectively cutting off his clear shot. Just weeks ago, the toad may have risked such a shot even if it meant clipping his allies. In fact, he still trusted his ability to make such a shot.

Instead, he drops his bow and draws his rapier as he moves. Colwyn squeezes past his friends and practically cartwheels (at least in his mind) past the spiders.
Catching them from behind, he thrusts his blade into the spine of the yellowish arachnid.

Use Acrobatics to tumble past spiders. Sneak attack Yellow for 11 damage.

Colwyn performs an astounding feat of agility and tumbles passed the pair, ending behind Red and sinking his blade in deeply.

Elena you can move west, I'm treating the partial squares as usable.

Elena puts an arrow into the grotesque Ettercap she sees leading a pair of spiders towards her.

Reknar starts a stirring chant, as the spiders scurry towards him he lashes out with his readied weapon.

Once again, Xan struck the same target as Richard, wanting to clear the way for a flanking action, her golden right eye seeming to glow with an inner fire.

If Richard killed the spider
With the path forward clear, Xan moved forward around the corner, tattoos starting to glow as she moved forward. Curiously, her golden right eye also seemed to start glowing as her adrenaline surged.
Double move around the corner, intending to come up behind Orange in a flanking manoeuvre.

Fair enough. To make it an easy retcon, let's just do a crossbow bolt at the gold ettercap. Which, with the below roll, doesn't change anything. See? Easy!

If I cast entangle do I need to be able to see the center of the AoE? I think that's the case which means that there's no way I can cast it safely without putting myself in the AoE.

So 5' step back into the partial square we mentioned and then shoot.

Elena steps back and nocks another arrow. "Maybe this will one discourage them."

Pink sends it's pets ahead to harry Reknar advancing behind them and spitting a web at him.

GM_DBH, did you modify my position in the map? Reknar was not there, he was 2 squares in front of Niadroub. He can still flank with Xan as he has a reach weapon. No need to get that close. Let me know if you want me to correct it.

If still the spiders go for him, or pass close by, he should have AoOs on them, right?
