During the weeks I'm outta the house from 6am to usually 9pm now due to work and school. So it's often likely I won't be checking in the middle of the day. I can (and did) update from class but thats not until the evening, 3-7ish. No wifi on public transportation alas :(

So far my only foray into metal has been The Sword. I love them. Alot. I understand a lot of folks see them as "hipster metal" but that kind of attitude of judging folks metal seems decidedly unmetal.
Exactly, it's silly trying to judge metal by what's fashionable. It's strange when people say that they hate Black/Death metal because it's just growling and silly.
Anyway my regular one is Bloodstock (in Aug), but we have a local 1 dayer in November (Damnation Festival) & now I have a new one next weekend, with lots of folky metal.
(Oh, if you are looking at a brilliant Viking album Bathory's Blood On Ice is EPIC.
I have heard a single thing of Bathory I think... Maybe. I'll check that out. I'm not too down with the growling and screaming, just not my style. Do I think it's lame? Nah but it's not pleasing to my ears. But you give me a song about how heavy an axe is and I'm there. It's good get me pumped battlin music. And what not.
I just recognize I that the kind of metal I tend to enjoy is more close to the old Led Zepplin and what not. It's rocky, fantasy themes, and some face melting. If that makes sense? The problem I have is Death/Black metal heads saying I listen to pussy metal.

So, I wonder if there's anyway to just do an overall combat. I mean, I like rolling dice See I just did it there, but its taken a month to do 2 roundsish of combat. Maybe its because we have too many PCs (I know I run 3! Its mostly my fault!) or the combats involve too many things. Maybe having all enemies run at the same initiative so it automatically cuts down on the number of posts needed per turn dramatically (there may be a game balancing issue in there Im sure)

I do think it might work best if the antagonists were grouped together and Ragnar & his sub-PC's were too. It'd save you some work Pinvendor, as you do brilliant descriptions of each bandits actions - so instead of having to write then individually you could do them all at once! And thus take less effort, hopefully (provided it's not too daunting).
