Sliding along the edge of the blade, instead of riding down it, the beast finds himself turned aside from his chosen path, but still manages to put his axe through Josef's armor. 24 HP remain
The ever-present bluster shows itself yet again. "Really? You think random aggression means anything? Skill wins out. Watch and learn how you die . . .." As the young man skips attacking with his pointy stick, and goes to make a display of prowess designed to leave even the bravest men shaking in their boots.

Freya maneuvers past the guard on the wall, Fenrir in tow, positioning herself in such a way that she will only catch the werewolf in the gouts of flame erupting from her hands.

Seeing everyone struggle to harm this thing, Darian focuses on his magic and wills it to flow out and aid his allies. Everyone’s weapons begins to glow with white energy. He then steps up to the theming again, ready to continue the fight!

The lycanthrope shifts as he swings at the gnome, moving just enough that the young man's thrust misses him completely.
Combat Expertise gets a +2 Dodge. Full Attack activates Defensive Parry, gaining an unnamed +1 bonus to AC. Puts Josef at AC21 T17 F15 for the round. Not that 21 is much of a deterrent for this beast.

Darian grits his teeth and takes off after the man.

Once close, he lunges at him from behind and attempts to wrap him up and restrain him, using his sword for leverage.
Picturing Darian placing the flat of his blade across the werewolf’s chest and then holding onto it with one hand on the pommel and the other on the blade. Then hang on tight from behind and attempt to ride it down to the ground.

The Guards give chase, ones blow only strikes sparks from the cobble stones, the others is a much more telling blow, bringing forth a howl of pain from the Were as it sinks in deeply.
Darian charges at the beast but it's powerful frame shrugs him off as he tries to grapple it down.

Freya moves down along the wall, conjuring her recently recalled ball of ice to hurl at the werewolf - less concerned about taking the creature alive than making sure it is stopped.

Freya climbs down off of the wall and walks over toward the struggling werewolf. "Stop fighting and surrender. There is no need for you to die today, but if you insist on fighting us, that is exactly what will happen."

The young bravado tries to work his way to the wolf thingie. Seeing the threatening stances but lack of attacks, he's able to recognize what's happening. "Surrender. Die. Either restores the peace."

Pekk continues to hustle toward the creature (double move - 40ft), then turns a street corner to see the creature prone but snarling;
"Monsieur Loup Garou... Listen to ze Lords and Ladies... You have nowhere to go... You do not have to visit Ze Boneyard this day..."

"Yeah...second time in a month a jail would have been very handy. We'll need to remedy that soon, sadly," Darian mutters as he steps over and kicks the axe away from the creature.
He keeps his sword tip pointed at the creature's throat, and says "Someone tie him up. Hands and feet. We cannot risk him getting loose and hurting someone else. Hopefully once the sun rises we can reason with him."

After some nervous moments the Were wolf is bound securely, you have an unpleasant wait for morning to arrive, where upon the Were reverts to a confused Kundal.
It seems he has no idea of what is happening the nights he becomes a Were wolf, only knowing that his dreams are bloody and violent. He spends the days out of town trying to clear his head of his disturbing visions.
He is quite understanding if you wish to execute him.

Darian talks to the other members of the council (NPC's included) away from this Kundal while he is under guard. Pekk is included in the conversation as he helped to apprehend this man.
"Well, it would seem he is performing these acts involuntarily while under the influence of his curse. The question here is if there is a cure or not? Do any of you know?"

"I would imagine there has to be a cure of some sort, it is more of a matter if the cure is something that we can reasonably do." Freya says.

"Kundal, we don't want to kill you if at all possible." Isabel chimes in. "Anything you can tell us would be very helpful. From what our Magister has said possibly the only cure is to kill the one who infected you in the first place."

"Very well. Kundal, the only safe way for you to be around people is if we have you restrained on nights of the full moon. We will do our best to find a cure for your condition, and in the meantime we must make sure that the community stays safe," says Lisl authoritatively.
"Freya, let's see the old witch. Perhaps with her knowledge combined with yours we can find some other idea that may help. Perhaps even a spell that will suppress the curse temporarily - not as good as a cure, but better than nothing."

Kundal has no memory of being attacked by Wolves or Werewolves, in fact he confesses with a reddened face the only injury he has taken in the last few months while he has been travelling was a deep bite from a very enthusiastic whore in Restov?
