Kriger's done.
Feat: Vital Strike
Skills: Intimidate, Dungeoneering, Nature, Perception, Stealth, Survival and one more that I've forgotten. :P
2nd level spell: Versatile Weapon *APG
@Set: Summon Monster IV. That's just cool. Can't wait to see that in action.

Yeah, I bought them back here. But they just weren't something he kept out on a regular basis because of how situational they were.
I'll hold off for now. If we start seeing more variety of undead as we go through, then Kalsgrim will probably grow wary and get them at the ready. If this is the only type of undead we seem to encounter, then he'll stay that way. If they start seeing a wider variety, he will suggest in character that they prepare themselves for any type of undead, including the skeletal and the incorporeal.

While the cleric and wizard write ups state multiple times that spells are prepared post rest only, and all at once, and that clerics in particular have to prepare their spells only during a specific hour of the day (pages 39-40 and 78), pages 218 and 220 go right on and contradict that, and mention that wizards and clerics can leave some slots open and fill them later with a 15 minute study break. (I suspect someone's mind got changed between the writing of those two sections...) :)
Druids (and other prepared casters, like paladins, rangers and adepts, plus later additions like inquisitors and witches, obviously) are not mentioned as being able to do this in the section on pages 218 and 220, but most GMs allow them to leave slots open as well.

Other Mastermind,
would you untick the aliases Geraint Elberion and Aelessaer from the character box (available only to you on the Campaign Info tab)?
It's easier to keep track if I only have Malaswyn Tyddewi popping up for this game.
Ta!

Kriger will not drown just yet, he has several hours of magical water-breathing left.
Well THAT'S a relief.
You know, I was wondering about that. I was thinking that it might expire once I went unconscious. I'm glad I was wrong about that one!
Javell DeLeon
Cool! Didn't see that coming.
Got a favored terrain to choose. Was thinking of going with underground but I'm not so positive about it.
You fellas think I should go with something different? Plains maybe? While we seem to be underground a lot here lately(I'm not sure what a tower is considered, though) but we may need something more like mountains or plains or something. Just thinking of the terrain of the kingdom and which of the many options might prove more useful.
Thoughts?

”Eighth level!?! This, this is so unexpected! I didn’t have anything prepared!”
He clears his throat.
”I would like to thank my peers: Servayn, Kriger, Malaswyn and so many others. I’d like to thank all the foes throughout the levels: the Stag Lord, the trolls, and yes, the many, many mooks over the years; without their experience points value contributions, big and small, this level wouldn’t be possible. You know who you are!"
With a somber expression, Kalsgrim finishes ”Finally, I’d like to thank Erastil, without whom none of this would have been possible. Old Deadeye, Stag God, Estig the Hunter… You may be a cantankerous, misogynistic deity, but you are MY cantankerous, misogynistic deity!” He presses two fingers to his lips before raising his gaze up and pointing to the heavens.
He starts to move away, but then rushes back. ”Oh! Ember! How could I forget! Ember, you arrogant, extra dimensional killing machine! Good times, good times.” He holds up his level for all to see and, with that, Kalsgrim heads back, posing for portraits and collecting his swag bag.
Later, as he is rummaging through the swag bag, Kalsgrim can be overhead mumbling “BAB, Fort… hey, Aura of Resolve! Cool!”

LOL! Rolling on that one, Kalsgrim! I gotta say, that's one of the best leveling up posts I believe I've ever seen. ;)
Kriger raises his mug in a toasting fashion, "Here! Here! Preach it, Kals! Three cheers for mooks! Not the Stag Lord though, he nearly killed me dead. Like, um, twice. But cheers for the rest!!! And Ember truly is an arrogant killing machine! I knew there was a reason I liked him! HA-HA!" He drinks heartily.
"Alright, go get yourself leveled up, break's over. That goes for the rest of ya as well. And don't dilly dally on your skills! We gotta get back to that tower! Oh, and just so you know... wait 'til the baddies feel the pain of Power Attack now. They'll never know what hit 'em, HA-HA!!!" He finishes off the rest of his drink and slams the mug down on the table, grinning wildly as he pops his neck one way and then the other, sounding as if he might've actually snapped several bones.

Also, please think of knowledges...
Thanks for the tip. Guys, I'll keep building my K: Religion and start putting points into K: Nobility, but that's all I have for class knowledge skills and, with a 10 intelligence and 4 skill points per level, it wouldn't do much good to start putting points into others. Just FYI.
Malaswyn Tyddewi
My knowledge (religion) is through the roof.
I have put points in history, nobility and planes... only got +6 though.
Stat went in Wisdom.
If I pray now, can I fill some of my newly-received spell slots?
Servayn Krolz
Servayn adds +1 Charisma at 8th level, which adds more spells / day, and ups some skills.
He also gets +1 BAB, +1 to Will saves, the Transposition class ability, +1 2nd level spell slot and +1 3rd level spell slot.
His new spell known is displacement and he swaps out the never-used summon eidolon for slow.
He continues putting his favored class bonus into skills and adds 2 ranks to Diplomacy, 1 rank to Knowledge (planes) and 1 rank to Use Magic Device.
Ember gains 1 evolution point, and loses the 1 pt. Scent to add the 2 pt. Gore. (Gore adds another attack, with horns, as a primary attack for 1d6+Str mod, so he's finally gotten around to having the four attacks per round I should have given him back at 4th level, if I hadn't been farting around with non-combat stuff like Skilled and Scent and Swim.)

Okay, this is gonna be tricky.
I've got the same question as Kalsgrim. Maybe holing up here in the tower isn't so good, but going all the way back out is probably not wise either.
We have the water to contend with still.
Or, we can take a chance and keep going, gambling on the fact that there is absolutely no more forms of Wis damage the rest of the way. If there isn't then we're good!
Of course, on the other hand...
Anyway, the good thing is he wouldn't be dead. I'm afraid that's all the good news, though. The bad news is, we would have 1 of us out of commission(which would be really bad given the fact there are only 4 of us) and not only that, Set gets to sit around and not take part in anything. Which we all know is zero fun.
I'm on the side of hanging out in the tower. I really don't want to go all the way back out. Of course, hanging out in the tower might = suicide. *Shrugs*
Having said that, if the rest of y'all want to leave the tower, it's all good to me. Hanging out in the tower is just my first preference. Probably more along the lines of convenience more than anything else. So probably not a good reason. :P
Javell DeLeon
Well that's just great. I can't remember, for the life of me, where/what the creature was that gave him all the damage.
I know Set mentioned it was an Allip, but I can't remember it at all.
Wait a minute(It just came to me like 5 seconds after I typed the previous sentence): Was it that spider looking thing?

It was the Soul Eater. We encountered it when we came into sight of the tower, before we crossed the moat/lake to the tower proper.
Javell DeLeon
Yeah okay. For some reason I was thinking it was spider looking. I think the image I had of it resembled a phase spider. But I know a phase spider doesn't do that!
Yeah I remember that thing now. We damaged it pretty well and it went flying off or something.
Which means that thing is still outside. Or possibly it's lair is in here.
Man what a dilemma!
I will stick with my first preference of remaining within the tower.
What do the rest of y'all think? We gotta decide something.
