@Servayn: Fire damage from Ember?! Man, that's just awesome! That creature just gets badder and badder! I'm glad he's on my side! :)
Yeah, that's an insanely good evolution (would have been for the troll fights, especially, but you need to be 5th for that one, and we were still 4th). It's not as thematically appropriate as I would like (breath weapon would fit better), but I bit the bullet and picked it for mechanical efficiency over theme (and the breath weapon evolution really kinda sucks).
It'd be even more scary if I bothered to give him a 4th natural attack, like he's supposed to have had for a couple levels now. :)
Also scarier if tactically inept me remembered to have him Power Attack. A -2 to hit and +4 to damage on that last attack sequence probably would have added 12 damage to the total (assuming the three that definitely hit still would have hit).

Hey Davor, we're going with Half + 1 on hit points.

ahh looking back I only found that we were discussing it, but no 100% if it had been decided or not.

I know you keep asking for end squares, but I have a real difficult time with the two dimensional maps, as I'm often posting from my phone etc. It's becoming obvious that this game is too strategic combat placement for my enjoyment, so I'll respectfully withdraw. I will never take the time to place my character where he is supposed to be, and feel that this is better served for a table top game.
Nothing against your GM'ing...it's great, I'm just not interested enough in the strategy side of RP'ing to do so.
Good luck all you guys, and hope to game with you all in the future.

Just to make it clear, I'm not upset with anyone, and have had a great time playing this game with you guys, I'm just not into the strategic movement thing. Even in real life we've switched to more Castles & Crusades, and DCC to get away from the strategic movement part of the game.
I don't mind playing it on the tabletop, because not only is it 3D you have other players and the DM saying things like "You can't see them from there", or "That will invoke an AoO". In PbP to me this is just to difficult for me to grasp. And really slows down the combat, because people have to constantly adjust their actions.
I apologize if this leaves everyone in a bind...feel free to DMPC Janku as you wish and recruit a replacement...I just find myself "dreading" my turn in this, because I have to figure out where my character is and where he's going.

"Dreading" your turn truly is not fun. I found myself in that very situation in another thread(different set of circumstances but it still equaled no fun) and backed out myself. So, in a sense, I understand where you're coming from, bro.
I echo markofbane's thoughts. I'm willing to keep on truckin'. I do think we are gonna need other player, though.

Could we go on with an inquisitor, ranger and paladin to heal? Perhaps Janku returns to Providence to let them know what we found and eatch over the realm while we are away?
That could also leave the door open for Steve to pop back in (if he is willing) for in town RP opportunities and pass on the elements of travel and dungeon/wilderness crawls.

Okay. It appears we are losin' folks left and right.
You fellas want to add another or just go with the 4 we got?
At this point, I'm good either way. But with Kriger continuously hitting the dirt, I would probably be more swayed in adding another. :P
But I can roll with whatever.

So, a ranger, a paladin and a summoner, eh?
Well, I guess I won't have to hit much stuff...
Hello everyone, I'm your friendly local cleric of Sarenrae.

Welcome to the game! We look forward to getting Malswyn worked in.
Cheers, just been reading the gameplay thread and you're in a tight spot.
Can't help but think that one invisibility spell would make Ember into an impressive wilderness scout.
An outdoor campaign like this makes me imagine a druid (or animal=domain cleric with boon companion) riding around on a roc companion. The best I can do is summoning a celestial dire bat... actually, that's pretty cool!

I think it might be summer in general, and Gencon doesn't help. I am involved in more than half a dozen pbp games on the Paizo site and all of them have been experiencing a lull over of the past couple of weeks actually. I think once we integrate our new team member and get a little further on in the year things will get back to a good pace with the game.

Suggested ad hoc houserule: Composite longbows with Str bonuses can be adjusted up to that strength bonus. Changing the Str setting takes a full round action, and it stays that way until changed.
That way, anyone can use a Composite longbow (Str +4), but you can only profit from the Str you have. Thoughts?

Based on that, I think it sounds like a good house rule. I think it will be good to see how it works; I doubt it would be unbalancing in any way. Still, I'm reluctant to stop using the Stag Lord's bow to take up this new one in its stead.
Would you make it an action type to change the strength rating, or would it have to be out of combat? Say, a minute to unstring and restring it a new strength? Is this option only with magical bows, or can you pay to have this option with non-magical bows? Or is it a new feature of a masterwork bow?

I just gotta say, DW, I totally love the Ford truck and the Bulette being in the same pic. That's just greatness! I was trippin' out on that one!
Hm. I wonder if we can purchase one of those with our gold. You know, it'd be a lot easier to get from one place to the other. I'm just sayin'. ;)

Yeah, that was a nice picture!
