I wouldn't be surprised if what he noticed was what I just found.
Astraden hands the small bag to Tanith. "Here, carry this until we can divvy it up." She heads further west, rubbing her fingertips together lightly. A faint swarm of violet artifacts collects around that hand.
Assuming we're pushing on, she's casting touch of chaos and holding the charge. If Farrukh wants invisibility I can wrangle that instead.

Depending on how long we took to search the rooms, Carina's mutagen could have worn off by now. Did we take longer than 30 minutes? Because that's how long it lasts.

The big Kordite squares off with the door before slamming a shoulder into it.

Tanith goes up and opens the door. Beyond is a short hall leading to a small chamber. A tapestry depicting a six-armed, fiendish beast carrying a bewildering variety of weapons dominates the north wall.
Immediately, two tieflings step out from hiding. These guards lack the scars, and instead bear on their faces tattoos of the symbol of their foul god. They raise longbows and loose arrows at Tanith.
Longbows (flat-footed): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 51d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
And what terrible shots they happen to be. Cursing in Infernal, they drop the obviously defective bows and draw greataxes.

Tanith drops his weapon and roars as he charges the tiefling in the lead. The big Kordite grabs the cultist by the collar and physically lifts him overhead.

Assuming Tanith beats the tiefling's CMD+5, he'll dump him behind Tanith so that he's available for a beating from the rest of the party.
