Olivier de la Verdure |

Waaaaaait. Wait wait wait. "Wait a moment," the pale-haired man said, holding up his hands as if to slow the others down. "I must echo the questions of the young miss." Judging by the reactions of the others, this was definitely information of some importance.
Of course, who wasn't to say this wasn't all a dream? After all, these events seemed absolutely implausible. Dragons? Demons? Real enough of course, but to be saved by such a creature and transported to some nameless cave? He had his doubts.
Still, in the event that it was not a dream, he figured he had best make the best of the situation that he could. "Regardless, staying here won't be of any use to anyone. I can try and scout a way out..."

Evelynn the man that barked at you to come over with the light is an older gentleman of obviously noble decent from the way he carries on about every scratch and inconvenience. The Human woman is of slight build you can tell that she is pretty badly injured along with the Elven man, both regard your approach warily. Looking closer at the Elf you can easily tell by the burns that cover his eyes that he can no longer see.
Ashe after your comment about doing Terendelev proud you get a humph from the man with the grating voice but the other two survivors almost simultaneously reply "well said"

Ashe Asani |

Ashe replies to Eve, "I do knowing healing magics, but be warned. Someone only may benefit from my healing once per day." She moves towards the Eve, and begins to heal the Human woman. As she performs the healing, her hands light up with a soft blue aura. Ashe finds the words to explain the importance of what just occurred above, "The wardstone is what held the Demons of the Worldwound at bay. Terendelev was the city's protector, a benevolent ancient silver dragon. " After a slight pause with a sad tone, "It is quite likely our city is overrun with demons."

Olivier de la Verdure |

"Although this topic may be a fascinating one," the man cut in quietly, "But I must interrupt to bring a more... Immediate matter at hand. Namely, that." He then gestured to the massive spider that sat uncomfortably close to the assembled group of supposed survivors.

Ashe Asani |

Ashe stands up in alarm, grasping her quarterstaff tightly in both hands. She moves to position herself between the previously injured and the massive spider, muttering softly to herself, "I have never swung this in my life."

Rema25 |

The Samsaran Steps up beside Ashe drawing his spear and positions into a defensive stance, "Then step back dear, if you can heal the others you should not endanger yourself needlessly at the moment."

Ashe Asani |

Ashe nods at the man who clearly has a better idea of what to do than she does, with a grateful sigh.

Evelynn Quinn |

"Uhh, what do you need me to do exactly? I am better at cutting things open than putting them back together, although my mother was good at both so I guess I could learn." Evelynn says before taking a quick glance toward the unseen threat everyone else is mentioning.

The woman looks over the splint work finding it more than satisfactory she turns to Ashe "Thank you for this. If you are worried about getting too close to that thing you can try using some of my Alchemist fire." She offers you 2 vials of Alchemist fire.

Ashe Asani |

"You are quite welcome, and your generosity is appreciated," Ashe extends a hand to help the woman on to her feet, then takes the the two vials of Alchemist fire. "If it turns out not to be necessary, I will return these," gesturing with the vials as they disappear into a pouch. She turns her gaze to Eve with some friendly advice, "Thank you for your assistance, but next time don't wrap the leg that tightly. It was cutting off circulation."

Ashe Asani |

Ashe asks I. A hopeful, "Does anyone else help? If not, we should be moving." Ashe begins to move towards an exit, carefully avoiding the spider. Secretly she hopes that someone will stand in front of her again.

Olivier de la Verdure |

"Agreed," Olivier replied with a nod, finally tearing his eyes away from the massive spider. He frowned thoughtfully as he glanced at the ragged assembly of survivors as he made his way to join the healer. "Are you all able to make it out if we guide you?"

Janasen Tillsden |

"you get me out of here intact and back home and there will be a reward in it for you." responds the man with the grating voice.
"first I would like to know your names and something about you then we should actually decide what to do about whatever it is you all are so worried about." The blind elf responds in an authoritative tone.
"I don't think we should leave any threats behind us when we do not know what's ahead of us." Responds the woman with the broken leg.
Those that wish to can make sense motive checks

Ashe Asani |

Ashe turns towards the blind elf and responds gently, "My name is Ashe Asani. I have lived here my whole life, and I have work as a healer for the Church of Saranrae," holds up a silver symbol of her Goddess. She returns her eyes to the giant spider with a worried look, "I don't like the idea of killing the spider, if I absolutely don't have to."

Olivier de la Verdure |

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
A reward? Olivier's eyebrows raised at that. A man could do much with a pile of gold provided as a reward. Yes, he would definitely be keeping an eye out for that one.
But my, this certainly was a noisy bunch! Demanding, too. He could see their point, but...
"Olivier de la Verdure," he responded tersely. "And while I am as fond of personal introductions as the next man, I believe it would be somewhat more practical to get our bearings and get someplace safe before we get too in-depth with social niceties..."

Evelynn Quinn |

"Eve Quinn, hailing from the Shackles. The hat was rather telling, but I happened to lose it in the commotion." Evelyn says, trying to take in everything going on in the cavern.

"Don't want to kill it!?" The older Aristocrat who introduces himself as Horgus Gwerm blurts out "Look at it. It will probably follow and eat us at it's leisure."
"I don't know." Says the woman who introduces herself as Anevia Tirabade "It doesn't seem to react at all to our voices and it is not moving much, it might be injured as well."
"Injured or not a decision needs to be made." responds the blind elf who introduces himself as Aravashnial. "Are there any routes clear of the spider to the exit?"

Rema25 |

Moving forward slowly around the spider being sure to keep a fair distance, but facing the spider "Pardon me Sir Gwerm, it has shown us no harm nor aggression. We are intruding upon it and it seems quite hospitable thus far. There is no reason to pick a fight where it is not needed, and with an opponent we know nothing about. Circle around back of me and let us take leave of this place. I will follow in the rear to insure your safety."

Ashe Asani |

Ashe sighes gratefully, "Excellent, let's move on from here. Olivier, I believe that was your name, would you please scout ahead for us?" asks as she beams a smile.
I will follow at a safe distance, assuming everyone is coming along.

Janasen Tillsden |

Horgus grunts and scowls keeping well away from the spider he moves to join Olivier and Ashe. Anevia however seems unsure of what to do with the blind elf and looks to you all for assistance.

Olivier de la Verdure |

Olivier narrows his eyes slightly as the woman introduced herself as Anevia. That name had sounded familiar...
But. That was not important at the moment. There were a lot of things that needed addressing in his mind, but that was not as important as getting out of here was. Preferably without disturbing the spider, he added silently to himself. With the ragtag group of people trailing along, Olivier doubted that any sort of fight would be simple.
"Stay put and keep quiet from here on out," he murmured to the assembled lot. "I'll scout ahead room by room and report back."
And with that, he was off, padding as quietly as he could manage across the cave floor.

alright everyone gets one action.

Ashe Asani |

Ashe clutches her quarterstaff, trying desperately to remember what she was told to do should she get into a fight. After a moment it comes to her mind, she begins to cast an incantation. A protective ward forms around her, and thinks to herself "I hope this works!". She moves to towards the yelp.
Cast Mage Armor, moved 30 feet. Should I update my AC on here? Or what?

Olivier de la Verdure |

Note to self- Move when I have a chance.
Olivier stumbled back from the pair of roaches, drawing his blade against the overly-large insects.

Janasen Tillsden |

Eve The Aravsahnial puts his free hand on your shoulder trying to pause your movement "What's happened? What was that yell? Are we under attack?"
Anevia draws a short sword and tries to stand in a defensive position making sure to keep a wary eye on her surroundings.
"Attack? What? Who is attacking?" Startled Horgus jumps behind the dark haired woman.

Olivier de la Verdure |

"Ow!" Olivier winced as the insects managed to rip out decent chunks of flesh from his ankles. Furiously, he tried to stab at one of the creatures with his blade in an effort to ward them off.

"Bloody insects!" he snarled.

Ashe Asani |

Ashe, seeing Olivier's wounds, calls out for assistance from hopefully one of the two tougher looking people, "Olivier needs help please!" She makes her way over to him and blue tinted light emanates from her hands as she removes wounds.
