Well, at level 2 and higher I'm a pretty good healer (at least that's Dovak's intended build) but for level 1 it's a little scary.
Well, level one is a game of axe-tag anyway.
We could always grab a couple of scrolls of CLW (12.5gp a pop!), or use the strain-injury variant rules. Or both. The scrolls are more expensive than a wand per use, but I don't think we have the gold for a wand even between all of us. :)

Can't say for sure on the wands. Wouldn't count on it. What I can say for sure, adventurers starting out level one getting a 200 gp advance is a pretty good deal. I will also say that if you guys end up being happy with the game, we will continue with other scenarios and modules.
I'd say just pick up a couple scrolls. Two each should be more than enough for the whole group (8 total), and that's 25g. Maybe 3 scrolls (2 CLW and 1 Infernal healing so Cyniq can use it if Zirt is unconscious? Though Dovak wouldn't think of that, and won't accept it if he's conscious.)
pally and bard should be able to handle healing, unless the adventure is going hardcore. Look at my spell list, it was made based on the background of a young city girl that didn't have to worry much about self defense.
Well, the problem is that Dovak can't heal (he doesn't even have a caster level to use scrolls until level 4) until level 2 when he gets Lay on Hands. He's happy to activate wands of cure light if we pool our money, but barring that we're working with scrolls that only the bard can use. Thus the suggestion for 2 cure light's and 1 infernal healing. Thinking about it, instead Dovak is probably going to have 1 potion for pouring down people's (or his own) throats while unconscious. Total cost for 2 scrolls and the potion: (2*25)+50=100 of the 200.
If we're each getting two scrolls (200gp total), we might as well get a wand (375gp total) that'll last us 5x longer and can be used by two people instead of one.
I'm not opposed to the scroll approach, if that's what we want to do...
A wand is 750g, and thus requires that we all put in 187.5g of the 200. (375 is the cost to create it, but I don't think first level characters get Craft Wands =p )
Silly me. It'd be nice if cure light wounds were a cantrip... ;)
While I am all for dropping some coin in for a wand, I don't see why Cyniq would give total strangers any coin, even though they have a common task, there's no trust, especially with more money then she's ever seen in her life in one coin purse.
With such a large market port GM sure we can't find Ye Olde Magik Shoppe with some used wands?

First - my apologies to everyone for my sudden and lengthy disappearance; things IRL got pretty wonky for me. I'm sorry that I didn't take the time to drop a note here to let everyone know what was going on. A few people sent me messages and I received them this weekend, thanks for reaching out with well-wishes during my radio silence.
Second - I was very happy to log in today and see that the adventure seed is still growing. Thank you to the GM who picked this up and to the players for sticking around. I haven't read through the entire thread but I plan to do so this afternoon.
