While I am having fun I must admit that I have never played a game so player driven and short term actions play such an important driving force. I hope we can move to something more specific where we are assigned a mission. I would rather not spend the next 6 months in the guild HQ wondering what to do next.

Hey Guys, I need to give you all a heads up:

My landlord decided to sell the house I am currently renting, so I have been given 30 days to vacate.

My family and I have to locate and secure a new place to live, pack, and move within that time period, and to put it mildly, I’m pretty stressed at the moment.

I have no intention of dropping out of the game, but my post rate may be limited until I can get everything back in order.

I will try to check in and post as much as I can, but if you find yourselves waiting on me to do something, please bot my character, as needed, to keep the story line moving. Hopefully once the storm passes, I will be able to jump back in with full enthusiasm.

Sorry to hear about your problem Bennevy. I know it seems like a huge task. I recommend you make to do lists and start early with some small tasks. And return here for moral support. :)

What city do you live in?

I'm in Charlotte, NC. The biggest thing is rental properties are going at a premium right now. Trying to find someone big enough, but affordable, and still within our older son's high school district is frustrating.

My wife and I spent the day looking at a dozen properties, and by the time the realtors responded to our voice mails, they were gone.

A follow up from Paizo about my post disappearance:

Your Perception check most likely wouldn't submit because it was an exact duplicate of Tomid's post. Paizo has an anti-spam measure that precludes duplicate posts on the same page: Even when you hit Submit Post, it only Previews.

You can avoid this by making sure your post isn't character-for-character the same as another on the same page. That's why your follow-up post with extra text went through.

So, it is better to always put something extra in our checks.

Tomid, I think I have got how it work with the disappearing posts:

We write Bracket Perception cheek=1d20+(our skill bonus) Close bracket.
If any other post in the tread is identical the anti-spam bot think we are spamming and delete it.
It is not immediate, but it happen when the bot check our posts and it don't matter if the similar post is adjacent of 100 posts ago, it only matter if there is a similar post.

We should stop being lazy and always add some more text.

I understand that and believe that has happened before. But now I am missing my last post which was much more detailed. :(

Hey guys, just a heads up, due to a clerical error my internet will be down for a week or so, so I won't be able to post anything during that time. If you wonder where I disappeared off to, that is why

DM Ulgu: I think there may be some confusion on the layout of things.

A few clarifying questions:

1.) We are currently in a baggage car, which I presume has a door on each end. Is this correct? Are there freight/loading doors on the sides, also?

2.) Assuming there are doors at each end, is the conductor and his following passengers coming from the direction of our sleeper car, or the other end of the car?

3.) Which door is the one the gargoyle thing burst through, the one nearer to our sleeper car, or the one on the other end?
