Yeah, sorry about the defensive response. I've been having a bunch of different things going on here and it came out here instead of at my leadership. ;)

As for the Stag Lord, he's stunned for a round, not helpless. with that said, he should be *really* easy to hit for a round.

cut and pasting spellcraft IDs:
The Stag Lord’s Gear
The Stag Lord possesses two unusual magic items, both
of which he found amid the ruins of the fort when he
first arrived in the area. The first is his suit of +1 leather
armor; this suit consists of a heavy cloak, gloves, kilt, and
boots, but leaves his chest bare—although the armor
looks incomplete, it actually functions just as well as any
suit of magic leather armor. His second unusual item is
his distinctive helmet.

Stag’s Helm
Aura faint divination; CL 5th
Slot head; Price 3,500 gp; Weight 3 lbs.
Descriptio n
This striking helmet is crafted to resemble the skull of a
mighty stag. Although made from bone, the antlers and
helm are as strong as metal. When worn, the helm greatly
enhances eyesight and hearing, granting a +2 competence
bonus on Perception checks. In addition, once per day the
helm may be called upon to enhance any ranged attack
made by the wearer to make an insightful shot. Activating
this ability is a free action, and once activated, your next
ranged attack against a target within 30 feet is made as if
that target were flat-footed against you—this allows a rogue
to gain the benefit of sneak attack with this shot. If you don’t
make a ranged attack within 1 round of activating this power,
the insight fades and is wasted for that day.
A worshiper of Erastil who wears this helm may utilize the
insightful shot ability up to 3 times per day.

Other Gear +1
leather armor, masterwork longsword, +1 composite longbow (+2

Going with Andrea's suggestion, the lot of you decide to bunk down here for the night. Though some of you may choose to sleep on the ground outside the barracks after seeing the size of the critters that shared their straw pallets with them. Apparently the bandits were not the most hygienic people around. Even the Stag Lords bed is covered in a variety of stains from his many, many drunken nights.

Despite all that, the night passes uneventfully for you all and you begin your search again in the morning. You decide to forgo searching two of the towers when you get close enough to see the decrepit condition they are in. It's obvious they are no longer in use by the bandits, since even they aren't stupid enough to use a building that may collapse upon them.

The remaining tower is empty of anything, except for the dead bandit up at the top of it that Soren killed earlier. After that, you are left with a roundish stone building with a smokehole at the top of it. Going inside and taking in the tables, large firepit and the remains of a roast pig in the middle of it, you are able to figure out what this building was used for.
