As for Pip,....You can affect them all, or just the vampire; if it's all of them then Elgan needs to wil save against blindness from the friendly glitterdust...
Pip will try to get them all, and hope Elgan makes his save
The golden dust explodes from Lucille as Pip continues to sing his martial ode
Though faced with foe
Crypt-craven and foul
Gittik and comrades stout
Did not fear the fiends
They smote the demons hard
And lo! Sakatha roared in agony
His foul spawn shreiked in pain
For they could not resist
The hammer blows of heroes' fists
dungeonmaster heathy
Gittik's wrestling buddy bites him in neck on the trapezius; Gittik takes 4 h.p. in damage.
The alu to her left tries to stab; only hits gittik once for 9 h.p. damage.
The blinded one swings wildly at Beldan twice, connecting. Beldan takes 8 h.p. in damage.
The vampire cuts at Elgan twice with his bastard sword; misses once; Elgan takes 18 h.p. in damage...
ROUND 2!!!
Stigwold Mæch'Hæmmær
<Stig charges the witch on the left to E,F/20,21.>
He chops, throwing his prodigious belly weight behind the blow: 1d20+13=33, 2d8+20=34
CRIT CONFIRM
WARAXE is x3
"Et ain't right mekin' me wait, woman."
Stig's spoiler for himself:
Edited to add bardic music.
Beldan Vale
Beldan grits his teeth against the pain of the strike. Crap! She hit me twice and she’s blind! he thinks, but doesn’t lower his bravado.
“Eat this,” he says, stabbing his keen rapier towards her head.
12+5+2 (flanking with Gittik) +1 (bardic music) = 20. Hopefully that will be enough to hit her since she’s blinded.
Damage: 2+1+1 (music) = 4 + 14 (sneak attack for flanking) = 18.
If that puts her down I’ll probably move…
The Mapper
Yah, you can tell I had a good hour or more to kill at work when you look at the map. It's pretty easy just draw, copy past for a lot of stuff. Mostly I was sitting there tweaking colors and trying out different levels of outer glow on the coordinates.
It was fun. New toys. 'The Company' got me Adobe CS3 and a four hundred dollar WACOM tablet. Fools.
dungeonmaster heathy
Beldan's next skewer goes right where the heart should be, and she falls, bleeding, nearly slain.
Stiggy's massive blow nearly takes his opponents' shield arm off, and she's flooded over with green blood; the blood sprays, hissing and smoking on Stiggy's steel armor. (no acid or nothing; just eye candy)
The lizard vampire king shouts angrily at Beldan the shadowknifer.
"You'll twitch on my blade! Long time dieing!!!"
The lizard chieftan hobbles to e9, drawing steel. It will take him a while.....
Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe
Hmm I'm guessing that an area effect like Sonic Burst is a little too much since everyone is mixing it up.
Pip advances advances 20 ft forward K11 while readying his sling
He twirls his sling expertly and shoots straight for Baal Sakatha
Altai Iscarni
You know what's coming next!
Altai sprints foward as the blows start flying. "This'll hurt you more than me, reptilian schmucks," he mutters while grinning smugly.
Move to E12 before casting Haste. The spell is centered at F20 - it includes Stig, Beldan, Gittik, Elgan and the dire wolf. Too bad I couldn't cast it before Beldan's action, but them's the breaks. Effects: 1 extra attack when performing a full attack, double move (up to max +30'), +1 attack bonus, +1 AC and +1 Reflex save.
Riese's Altered Form
Riese targets the Lizard-vampire and lets fly...Imbelia furtion de'flar!! 5d6=25 damage from Riese's firebolt, DC17 reflex for half., then steps to H4. Are Elgan and Beldan really where they are on the map! That's gonna be fireball territory next round!

He is damaged, but his reflexes are amazing; he moves ratquick out of the brunt of the fiery blast.

Are you looking at the same map as me?Fireball seems a little... misplaced here.
BTW, is the lizard-chick at H22 finished? Also, did Stig confirm his critical? I don't think he counted that he does flank the F22 whatzit via Elgan.
dungeonmaster heathy
Dang. That blow must have done something around 96 points of damage. Critting with axes rocks!
So, there are two enemies left - the lizardess in G22 who's grappled by Gittik, and Baal Sakatha in G24.
Oh, hell. I thought the thirtysomething was the damage.
Yeah, she's wasted.| dungeonmaster heathy |
A grapple check isn’t an attack – so no real effect. Although I guess if you’ve got them held or pinned and try to damage them you’d get the extra attack?
That sounds reasonable. That's what I was thinking.
You can alzo stab them mit eine kleine light weapon; doesn't require a grapple check tho it's -4 to hit.| Elgan Dreadwood |
LOL! Well Heathy, I guess you could be called worse! Oh, wait, no you can't. (I reeeely hate Jerry Springer!)
Oh,... ouchies. Over half my HP in one round! (at least it took two hits!) Another shot like that and I'm vamp-kibble!I have GOT to remember that I'm NOT playing a brawler! (Which you'd think would be easy, i usually play casters,...)
DW's first attack: To hit: 1d20+11=20, DMG: 1d8+10=17, Trip: 1d20+11=28
DW's 2nd attack: To hit: 1d20+11=21, DMG: 1d8+10=15, Trip: 1d20+11=18
Elgan's wolf eyes go wide as he realizes the hurting he is about to be in for if something doesn't happen,... quickly. But he doesn't hardly start to howl in pain when Altai's HASTE spell rushes over him. The Dire Wolf, seeing a clear path to it's summoner and the greatest immediate danger, charges at the undead lizard with a roar, the HASTE spell causing the great beast to flit in and out of striking range like some demonic poodle on steroids,...
OKies, here's hoping at least ONE of the above attacks hit!
Elgan wants nothing more than to crawl away and lick his wounds. But seeing his summoned companion revives him somewhat, and seeing the unusually long canines in the lizard's smile as he bats away the Dire Wolf like a puppy rekindles his anger. With a pained howl he launches his own rapid strikes upon the vampire, hoping to take him down before he can escape,...
First attack: To hit: 1d20+7=24, Dmg: 1d6+4=7
Second attack: To hit: 1d20+7=22, Dmg: 1d6+4=9
I hope he was prone from the DW, ONE of those might have hit him then!
dungeonmaster heathy
I'm gonna assume Beldan, who said he would move if his target fell, moved to at least j23; he can move more if he wants, and the dire wolf gets up to hi 22-23.
The dire wolf can't get a bite in on the vampire; he's ratfast like Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise in 'Interview. The dog's jaws to him move in slow motion.
dungeonmaster heathy
Well it's Gittik's turn; Oso's moving up; I figure he'll run up to h20. His target with the spiritual weapon died, so it doesn't do anything but shoot and kill her some more.
I'm going to crash, and let the bloodsuckers attack in the morning when Gittik's done his bit.
Gittik
I don't think you can full-attack in a grapple.
Edit - actually, just checked the rules, and it doesn't say you can't , so....
"Me like you taste, b!tch! Me eat you again!"
Second attack: 19 + 12 + 1 (haste - better add 1 to may first attack for that as well) - 4 (grapple - better reduce my first attack above by 4, too) = 28. Damage = 2 + 6 = 8.
dungeonmaster heathy
Are the lizard-babes turning into fine mist and drifting away, or are they dead, squishy solid corpses?
The latter.
Gittik can't penetrate her skin with his teeth.
She returns the grapple......anybody looking is.....shocked for an instant,.......[censored] due to the haste spell, and then she disappears.
The vampire fumbles his first swipe at Elgan, which is great for him because the second swordblow does 16 h.p. in damage.
ROUND 3!!!!! Just the vampire.....

'OW! My Mind's eye! I'm blind!' LOL!

ROUND 3!!!!! Just the vampire.....
OUCH! MOMMY! If my lousy math is right, I'm at 12hp!
Elgan howls in pain and frustration as the wicked looking sword bites deep. Panting heavily, the druid-wolf snarls as he slowly (but HASTED) backs away from his opponent, his face falling into shadow but his wolfen eyes still reflecting the red firelight.
"Did you ever dance with the devil in pale moonlight?" He growls at the lizard-vamp, allowing the Dire Wolf to surge forward once more.
OK, I need to get out of this guys reach! I think a safe retreat (NO aoo) is a move action? or a full round action? Either way, I'm moving behind my big puppy as a meat-shield. HE shouldn't be able to reach me again without taking an AoO from the doggie. IF HASTE allows me another standard action, I convert my 3rd lvl prot/energy to a heal and heal myself. If not,... MEDIC!
EDIT-forgot the puppy!
DW's first attack: To hit: 1d20+11=25, DMG: 1d8+10=12, TRIP: 1d20+11=30
DW's second (HASTED) attack: To Hit: 1d20+11=30, DMG: 1d8+10=11, Trip: 1d20+11=24
these include NO bonus (if any) from the bard, haste, magic circle, etc
