Standing atop the roof, Thandir ROARED in frustration. "COWARD!" He bellowed after the retreating creature. Looking down at the priests who had come, the fuming half-orc put his axe back upon his back, and thanks to the magic infusing him, easily climbed down with Uke.
As his comrade was healed, he began to cast lessor restoration on Uke.
LR Uke: 1d4 ⇒ 4
"What was that?" He growled. "It fought like a coward! It kept flying, and once I was able to get to grips on it, it ran away!" It was clear from his tone of voice that he was seething at the injustice of being denied a fair fight.

If we were a threat it was by accident,' looking from the roaring orc, to his fellow investigators, Vaunu asks, "Do any of you have any way of tracking her? I'm not complaining. It's Thandir who is frustrated. ;) That was an interesting encounter, as it forced the party to really think about what we could do. From Uke climbing the building to Belegar making perfect use of his recall ability to cast the spell needed. It was well done

With Uke downstairs, the initiates both cast 1 more clw on him, before you part for the night.
2d8 + 4 ⇒ (3, 3) + 4 = 10 Brings you back to 30.
I reckon Thandir meant to do lr on Belegar, the one with 3 con dmg.
The rest of the night passes without a hitch.
Everyone recovers 5 HP from sleeping. Jurgan recovers from 1 point of dex dmg.
Jurgan's anxiety eventually calms down and, the educated mind that he is, is best off with a good night rest.

When you gather downstairs the next morning, few patrons are there.
A tavern maid (not Thandir's crush) is cleaning some of the unoccupied tables, while Catarina is tidying some shelves behind the counter.
What new lead will you follow today?
You have the kobolds and the wolves, the two more troublesome rumors.

Finding himself awakened upon the ground, Uke surmised from the reactions of his compatriots that the foul undead creature had made its' escape, somehow. "I know not what it was, other than it was some kind of unnatural flying blood-drinker with sharp fangs and claws, or where it went. It will need to feed again- perhaps we shall catch it then, Kami-willing?"
Uke does offer his thanks to both Eileen and her initiates before they leave. "May you all be blessed by the Kami's favor."
Uke will also make sure to get his sling and remaining ammo back from Thrandir.
The Following Day...
Still annoyed with loosing the previous day, Vaunu sips his coffee, "We should check out the kobolds, I at least speak their language, and they don't fly."
Giving this strange concoction known as "Coffee" a try, Uke will add, "In my travels, I have traded with the ones you call "kobolds" before. Perhaps they will be more at ease with those bearing scales as they do?"

Since there weren't objections there, to the farmsteads and kobolds it is.
After a nice breakfast and some cafeine, you set out North to the farmsteads.
------------------
The farmsteads are a handful of outlying farms, with corn, pumpkins, grain, tatoes and fruits. The nearest one holds cattle and chickens.
When you get near the edge, a mere 100ft from entering the forest, you can see a hill, wherein the outlines of a cave are visible.
Like the saying before, it is barricaded, with a single small sized door present.
Perception rolls please.

Before heading out, Thandir buys five Cold Iron chakrams and ten regular ones. Frustrated by his inability to do anything outside of axe-reach, he was determined not to repeat the fiasco. In a flash of insight he also buys silver blanch, because the merchant said that fey hated silver and while the woman was probably a demon, he didn’t like fey anyways.
120 gold spent. He can now throw things besides quivers full of arrows!
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
Sadly, Thandir was too engrossed with practicing (or pretending?) to throw his new toys, so he wasn’t really paying attention.

Said merchant for the blanch would be alchemist Whescer, one of the council.
"No no, sir half-orc, you misheard me. Fey hate cold-iron.
But silver coating could be useful regardless."

Approaching the forest's edge further, nearing the cave, Uke sees a pair of bows notching arrows, not yet releasing, as if their wielders were waiting to see what you were doing.

Belegar notices what Uke sees.
Yeah, but Belegar sees the heck out of it!
Belegar narrows his eyes, "Archers ahead, bows knocked."
Then he raises a hand and calls out to the archers, "Hello, archers. We seek to parlay with the noble dragon-kin of this land!"

Two arrows fly.

"Pink-skin not speak tongue of dragons, pink-skin leave now!
Or we shoot more!"

He turns to Uke, "Your a lizard, or something like one, can't you speak to these things? This dwarf is going to bollix everything."

I'm not running at an enemy in a concealed position that can shoot that well, just because you got your dwarven pride hurt being an ass. You want to charge them. Be my guest."
