Vaunu should have taken 20...

Stopping to look more carefully, Vaunt turns and smiles at the half elf, "Good catch. It looks like I might be able to pass on the north. Do you want me to take a rope over or something?" Drawing out his rope, Vaunu scoots to the other side, carefully peaking down both hallways before he attempts to throw the end of the rope back.

With great trepidation the heavily armored half-orc ran, and leapt across the pit. He landed with a clang, and got to his feet ready to force his way onward.

Knowing what the roots are, Uke will take three of them from the kobold supplies before joining up with the rest of his party.

Upon being informed about the pit trap, Uke will attempt to cross it with care.

Much to everyone's surprise, Thandir manages to leap across, landing with a solid clank of his armor.

Uke sets one foot on the narrow space, but when he tries to shuffle further, he loses his footing, and drops down!

Both Thandir and Vaunu can see 30ft southward, noticing the tunnel there leads to a large cavern.

To their left leads a space somewhere, but a circular room is seen 1st.

Rolling his eyes at the lizard Samurai, holding up one end of his rope to Thandir to help pull up their associate, he tosses the other end down to Uke. "Here, Uke."

He then looks over at Belgar and Jurgan asking, "Once we've pulled him up do you want us to toss you the rope?"

The other two still wary of the danger that is a kobold inhabited cavern, they merely nod.

Uke is hoisted up by Thandir and Vaunu, after which the other end of the rope is tossed to the other side.

Without a point to secure it, it leaves them swinging 10 ft, bumping into the wall of the pit, before being pulled up.

Uke will keep the roots for now; one to give to the town herbalist to figure out what they are and the other two will probably make for suitable threats when they're "forcefed" to any kobold- presuming they're the same roots that made that other kobold attack after being uncovered from the box. ;)

Once Uke is out of the pit, he'll say to the Wayang and Half-Orc, "Thank you, Vaunu, Thrandir; that fall was most unfortunate. Does anyone have any means to help heal me? I would use my own potion of minor healing but it might be better suited for more dire emergencies..."

Perception to find anything in the deep pit: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25.

At Jurgan's prompting, Uke tries to recall if he's seen anything in the pit while he was down there. If there's anything to be seen, Uke will point it out to Jurgan before the Dwarf floats down the pit.

Uke recalls he was in no danger of landing on spikes at the bottom, though he may have landed upon --and shattered, some old bones.

Both Jurgan and Belegar make it across safely, contrary to what fate initially had in store, in another timeline.

A broken slab decorates one wall, while rubble near a worn ancient statue lay scattered.

Vaunu sees a quartet of ancient looking square pillars, each with writing in draconic language. From left to right they are...

Reading the ancient pillars, Vaunu shakes his head, "I ain't stickin' nothin' in nothin' in this trap filled place. Let me know when you all want to check the other tunnel."

Thandir bravely inserts his axe into a space in the 3rd pillar/obelisk.

The axe suddenly protests, as its metal creaks. He draws back his axe, to find the axe having lost half of its metal. If it were left in there unattended, it may have been destroyed completely.

Your weapon deals dmg as if it were 1 category smaller.

Shanking his head at Thandir "Wouldn't be much of a trap if you made it look like one. Of course if these Kobolds had a way of making magic items why wouldn't we have found any? But maybe the trick is they take Human sized weapons and make them Kobold size weapons. Look at the bright side, I can use your axe now." Waiving at the other pillar, "May as well stick it in there and see what happens." Turning to Jurgan he smiles and asks, "Are you going to stick your head in one?"

Thandir looked down at his axe in disappointment. Where once there was a huge weapon, able to strike fear into the heats of his enemies, now there was but a great axe. He sat down and began to work his magic on it, in the hope of repairing it.

Would casting mend on the axe fix the damage or is it permanent? Anyways, it goes from 3d6 down to 1d12 damage

This ancient magic is permanent. A d12 is still a respectable dice, though.

Belegar puts his dagger, warily of the potential to his main weapon, in the other slot.

The space glows a dark green, and Belegar gets the impression the blade may be slightly sharper.
Your dagger now deals +1d2 dmg, this is not an enhancement effect though.

Jurgan probably refrains from experimenting, his keen mind far too precious to him to gamble with.

And so, without much further experimentation, the team takes the route north.

Slowly creeping along the wall, Vaunu sees a chasm, with a simple wooden bridge across it.

Up ahead north, there is something akin to a hound, sleeping.

Perceptions:

Yonder, unseen yet by the adventurers, preparations are made.

"I wonder if the bridge is trapped as well?" Thinking aloud, Vaunu turns back, "Ssshhhh, There appears to be a hound sleeping, let's not wake it, yeah?"

He then begins to inspect the bridge for traps, looking for a way to cross safely and quietly.

"A hound? These cretins keep pets? Let's move on ahead how dangerous could their pet be?" Taking out his wand of grease he makes sure to stay at least ten paces from the wayang just in case.

Several things happen after one another, as the party stalks past the hound.

Vaunu stands at the bridge, seeing no immediate signs of the bridge being trapped.

1d100 ⇒ 90, the hound, warned by its keen sense of smell, wakes up to see the party move along the southern wall of its chamber.

It barks in an unusual way, not quite dog-like, as it gets up.
With darkvision, Vaunu sees a structure up ahead, and a kobold unleashing an arrow from above.

It ends up in the ground near him.
He also notices some kobolds stepping from behind barricades across the chasm.

After thanking Thrandir once the healing is done, Uke remains mostly observant in regards to the four pillars. I suspect that if we do get any kobold captives that won't turn undead upon eating those roots, they'll be dragged to those four pillars for an explanation from some of the others.

Once Vaunu has dealt with that kobold watch-hound, Uke double moves forward towards the green kobold out in the open, empowered by Belegar's song.

As a swift action, he lays out a challenge to the kobold before him in draconic.

If Uke is unable to reach the green kobold, he'll hold off on his challenge that he was saving once he got into melee range if allowed to (it'll be fine if you'd prefer that Uke makes his challenge before moving though; in such a case, Uke just has to merely reach that green kobold before his challenge runs out). ;)

You'll also have to change Uke's position on the map as well to account for the failed acrobatics... ;)

Uke approaches the bridge, drawing his weapon for samurai flashiness.
When he moves his second foot upon the wooden pole bridge, he finds it to be quite slick, and he slips flat onto his chest.

Due to speed and Uke's position, 1st move would stop with the 5ft between Thandir's 1st spot and Uke's spot.

Heedless of any risk, and fuming with rage over the damage to his beloved axe, Thrandir surged forward. His eyes flaming with anger he let out an ear splitting roar and as he ran, with naught but bloody vengeance on his mind. He ran and leapt, clearing the bridge with a loud clang. He hit the ground hard, rolled, and got to his feet. For a brief moment he locked eyes with the nearest of foes, and then...

May i possibly suggest delaying until after Vaunu with those rolls? Crossing the bridge is 1/2 speed, and yours is 20ft, meaning Vaunu's in the way of ending 1 move.
