Round 1
The adventurers advance into the cathedral, preparing to attack. As the sinspawn approaches Praxim and Lona fire at it, both hitting their target. Lym, likewise, shoots a cold ray at the sinspawn, but misses.
Round 2
The quasit reappears on the other side of the room, just as it casts a spell, summoning a goblin dog. The rat-faced animal attacks Lym from behind, biting into the wizard's thigh. Lona turns and draws her rapier, moving toward the goblin dog and thrusting her weapon and pricking the animal front leg. Lym steps away from the beast and shoots another ray of frost, this time at the goblin dog. She hits her target, but it seems to do little damage.
Varg continues to approach the sinspawn and attacks, barely raking it across its chest with his sword.
Markum
Markum and Vuvo rush over to help Lym. Vuvo sprints at the quasit, jumping up to snap at it While Markum slashes at it.
Markum Scimitar: to hit 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15

Wish I could use my previous rolls.

Round 2
The quasit dances all attacks made toward it. On the stairs, the sinspawn swings both claws at Varg, then tries to bite him, all in vain.
Round 3
The quasit inhales deeply and belches out noxious phlegm, hitting Markum in the face. Markum: Fort save DC 12; failure means you're nauseated for the next 1d4 ⇒ 2 rounds. Anyone near the quasit or Markum can smell its foul stench.
The quasit then snaps its fingers, repeatedly. Markum and Vuvo get an AoO.
The goblin dog bites back at Lona, ripping a gash off of her forearm (6 dmg). She returns with an accurate thrust through it's chest and back, killing it.
Lym moves near Varg and the sinspawn, chants a spell, and a thick layer of grease forms on the floor underneath the spawn. It can't keep it's footing and falls on the ground. This allows Varg to stab the wrathful creature through it's neck, ending its life.
Markum
Vuvo AoO
Vuvo Bite: to hit 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 includes charge bonus
Vuvo Bite: damage 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Vuvo continues to snap at the quasit.
Vuvo Bite: to hit 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Vuvo Bite: damage 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Markum continues to stand in a stupor while Vuvo attempts to follow the invisible assailant (moves to C6, the last place the quasit was seen) and snaps at the air.
Vuvo Bite: to hit 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Vuvo Bite: damage 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Vuvo Bite: trip 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Markum
Can I just take 10 on this? No? Ok. No need to get all grumpy about it.
Markum Will save 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Does Vuvo need to make a save? In case he does...
Vuvo Will save 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 Does Vuvo need to make a save?
Praxim
Will save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26 +2 if enchantment
Praxim looses another arrow as soon as the creature appears. In future, if it disappears for more than one round, Praxim would be readying an action to fire the second it reappeared.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 7 + 1 + 2 = 17
Damage: 1d8 + 1 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 1 + 1 + 4 = 12 bypassing DR
Praxim mutters a very un-paladin like curse as his third arrow in as many tries fails to impale the tiny creature.
Varisian Chronicler
Round 5
Lym shouts out in terror and flees the cathedral out the double doors, followed the hasty retreat of a whimpering Vuvo. Varg pulls out his bow and fires at the little demon a manages to hit it in the rib cage. The arrow, however, seems to barely cut open the quasit's flesh. Lona pulls out her crossbow, shoots, and misses.
Markum, you can make a full round's worth of actions.
Markum
Cast Magic Stone and ready my sling.
"This is getting us nowhere."
Praxim
Round 6
Praxim takes a moment to ready his aim and lets loose another arrow at the quasit.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 7 + 1 + 2 = 30
Damage: 1d8 + 1 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 1 + 1 + 4 = 10 Bypassing DR
Critical confirm: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 7 + 1 + 2 = 21
Damage: 2d8 + 2 + 2 + 8 ⇒ (2, 5) + 2 + 2 + 8 = 19
Well, that's gotta get us somewhere.
Markum
In case that amazing shot wasn't enough, Markum adds his two cents.
Markum Sling: to hit 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Markum Sling: damage 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Varisian Chronicler
Round 6
Lona, Markum, Praxim, and Varg continue to fire at the creature. Praxim finally hits it, the arrow going cleanly through its shoulder and nearly severing off an arm. The quasit howls in pain and rage.
The sounds of Lym and Vuvo's screams and yelps and footsteps fade as they continue to run away.
Round 7
Holding her arm and shoulder, the quasit disappears again.
Markum
Markum follows Praxim's lead and readies his sling for when the little beast reappears.
Markum Sling: to hit 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Markum Sling: damage 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Varisian Chronicler
Round 9
Praxim continues to search for evil auras, concentrating harder. The paladin exclaims, "The only evil I can find in this room is that bubbling orange pool!"
The pitter patter of footsteps can be heard rushing towards you from outside the double doors.
Round 10
The quasit is still out of sight.
Markum
I'll go to the door to see who or what is coming for us. If I don't immediately recognize them as an ally, they are an enemy.
Markum
I'll cast Detect Magic and look for illusion magic in the cone. If there's nothing, I figure to continue on.

You know that Ameiko Lonjitsu owns and runs the Rusty Dragon inn. Perhaps you could go there to offer Ameiko any sort of aid.
Rhianni Verdani
A tall woman enters the Rusty Dragon, her blue, purple and black cloak wafts along behind her as she swiftly moves through the crowd, as though following a thread of cotton that weaves through the mass of customers socializing there. She reaches the a table close to the entrance to the kitchen and the private rooms of the Inn. Sitting down, a clay goblet of wine appears on her table, a smile from the young lady who serves her.
Removing her hood, long auburn hair cascades down over her shoulders, framing a pretty delicate porcelain like face, with large dark brown eyes blinking at the scene of merriment in the Inn. Long white elegant fingers enter the drooping purple sleeves with silver patterns of stars and clouds, then she brings out the tools of her trade. On the table she lays some cards and clear crystal ball, her hands make intricate patterns over the ball, and her eyes look deep into its centre. For 30 seconds maybe a minute, this ritual continues, before the serious look of concentration and intensity relaxes and a smile comes over her red painted lips.
She looks up as the serving wench, who stops and waits in front of her as if help by some external force or design, "Tell Ameiko, Rhianni the dreamreader is come. Say the lines of the fates cause our paths to close. Say together our stories and dreams make us stronger, if we our cups are not mixed, they shall dry up and the way of drought will seek many souls until darkness. Say all that and Ameiko will take a drink with me."
Markum
We might as well finish out that blank space before leaving.
Markum Perception 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20
Vuvo Perception 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23 Scent, aid another

The corridor winds to a small room. The original purpose of this chamber is unclear, but large mounds of rubble lie strewn on the floor. The wall to the west has been torn down to reveal a tunnel leading west, back to the entrance.
Investigating the rubble reveals that most of it consists of broken urns and other pottery that once held food stores, long since crumbled to dust.
Inside, an elderly halfing is the only one you see tending to the tavern. Despite the lack of patrons visible, she seems to be hurried and stressed. When asked to speak to Ameiko, she responds, "Ameiko isn't here, today. If you need something, I'll get it for you."
When you arrive and enter, you see a fortune telling woman sitting at one of the tables, cards layed out on the table, and a crystal ball directly in front of her. You overhear the name "Ameiko" coming from a conversation between the fortune teller and an elderly halfing maid tending to the tavern.
Rhianni Verdani
Rhianni looks at the cards, and draws a couple, "Hmmm, you are expecting Ameiko later?...I will wait a while the cards urge me to stay. If you please a bottle of lotus flower water, it will refresh me. Rhianni lays a coin on the table and looks back at the cards."

At the Rusty Dragon:
Rhianni looks at the cards, and draws a couple, "Hmmm, you are expecting Ameiko later?...I will wait a while the cards urge me to stay. If you please a bottle of lotus flower water, it will refresh me. Rhianni lays a coin on the table and looks back at the cards."
Quinion approaches the table, his face open and friendly, "Pardon me, did I hear correctly that you are expecting Ameiko later? The Mayor instructed me to speak to her in order to locate the band has been charged with securing Sandpoint"
The halfling woman, exasperated, replies, "Listen, Ameiko isn't here today, and I don't know if she'll be here today. Her father and brother died yesterday and she hasn't been here since." Just then, the halfling turns toward the entrance and gasps. A red-haired woman, ragged and despondent, walks towards your direction.
She stops in front of the halfling. "Bethana, thanks for keeping the place running," she says softly, her voice broken. "Gimme some time to get myself together and I'll be down here to help."
"Um...sure, no problem, " Bethana replies. "Before you go, these two individuals are looking for you." She gestures toward both of you."
Ameiko turns to you. "Yes?"
Quinion Trepanar
Quinions draws himself straight, then bows slightly towards Ameiko, "My apologies and condolences, madame. I was sent here by the Mayor to locate a group who have been deputized to secure the town in the Sheriff's absence."
"If you know their location, I would appreciate it. If not, I'd like to arrange lodgings with your assistant here."
Markum
If Praxim has no objections, we leave the catacombs and exit from the glassworks.
Rhianni Verdani
Rhianni bows her head, "My lady Ameiko, Rhianni at your service. The pain and loss you have suffered became known to me, and the fortunes of the world demanded I lay my services at your door. Poor though they are, I will help you right the wrongs and bring justice to those who have crossed you. Your father's passing has touched many, he was well loved, though it might not have seemed so all the time. Please accept my humble gifts to aid you."
Praxim
"I fear that whoever employs that fiend will soon learn that we have breached these catacombs. So be it. Let's return above."
Praxim will continue to scan for evil as he they make their way topside, just in case the quasit is hiding out along the way.
Varisian Chronicler
Rusty Dragons:
"I think they went to the Glassworks today..." Ameiko chokes on her words, "to investigate a tunnel underneath. I don't know when to expect them to return."
...
Catacombs:
You leave the dungeon and make it back to the Glassworks, unhindered. Once outside, Lona suggests going to one or more of the shops in town and selling the found treasure.
Quinion Trepanar
Quinion listens with a slight smile as Rhianni's traditionally florid Varisian phrases wash through the room, reminding him of those he'd dealt with in the city.
However, as he hears Ameiko speak, his expression turns more solemn, "I'll see if I can find them. Thank you."
"Grij mi se alture? Eu cred c'doamna are nevoie de timp singur"
