The world is on the brink of going boom boom. This is our darkest hour. The eternal night doesn't help either. It is a time for heros to arise.
You find yourselves on the ship over to the land shrouded in darkness. The captain will be leaving the moment you depart, so the instant you get ashore, he's gone. According the captain, the land has been in shadows ever since the Handsome Sorcerer set up in the old castle north of the city of Flamerock Refuge.
Ok now you're caught up. Introduce yourselves!
Gerold
A tall and shining example of humanity stands at attention on the dockside. He watches the sea as the ship leaves this group of people behind and runs away. He wears a silk white robe that is covered by his magnificent breastplate that is quite soft, and feathery looking. His blond hair moves slowly in the night, and he holds a mace at the ready. His face has a noble look to it, and he carries a fine pack upon his back. His magnificent bearing is immediately ruined when he looks at the others and sheepishly smiles.
"So... Umm... Any of you guys know the way to town? "

A guy wearing a shirt of incredibly fine, light chain mail is standing there as well. He looks inland, tipping up the brim of his hat. He looks young, but the confidence in his stance coupled with the low-slung crossbow tells you he isn't as green as he might look.
"I've got an idea, but I don't know how far it'll get me." he chuckles.

A bearded human wearing a cloak over what appears to be shiny mail, with a bow over his shoulder steps onto the dock.

"Hmm, not too familiar with these parts. I reckon it's likely over yonder if we follow the path from the dock. "
Anhur
A weathered-looking man in his 30s shifts his pack on his shoulders and peers after the disembarking ship. He sighs and addresses the others.
"Town? I am certain we can find something, though obviously not before nightfall..."
Doran Wyrmson
"........oh Great Dragon not agairrurrughhhhhhhh" a fresh downpour of vomit sprays down into the water as a green-faced young man with pink hair hangs over the side, moaning, all strength drained from his limbs. "Ssssstop this damn boat from bouncing aroughghghhhh...." Close examiniers will notice that the water is still and the boat is steady as a rock, but it seems to matter little to this fellow as he slowly gathers his strength and flips himself over the side, landing heavily on his back onto the wharf, clutching his stomach. "Urgghhhhthats so much better..." After another few minutes some colour- namely, green- disappears from his face, and he slowly gets to his feet. Rubbing his eyes, he takes in a deep breath and tilts his head up; with a loud ROAR his mouth opens wide and flame pours out, blasting high into the air before vanishing. He wipes his lips and grins widely. "Ha! That cleaned my guts up a bit!" He looks around at everyone and nods to each person. "I'm Doran, and we've got a Sorcerer to beat up so let's get started!"
Doran runs forward, vest flapping in the wind as head whips around, trying to take in every aspect of the port as he runs.

With those checks you can tell that the town is that-a-way. cue way point Judging from the distance and your knowledge you should be able to get to the town in an hour or so. Sooooo GET A WALKIN!!
I am not normaly this silly however given the nature of the DLC and everything it fits in :D
Chef Bolognese
A rather heavy-set man wearing a clean chef suit and a bandolier of sharp knives sighs as he looks out on the desolate shore.
Such a disappointment. the food on board was fit only to keep off starvation and where is the inn? Chef sighs and looks oddly at Doran. I am Chef Bolognese, or just call me Chef. I guess there is nothing to do but get to civilization as soon as possible. and with this, he starts trudging.

Gerold runs and tries to catch up, but gives up after a minute and returns to the safety of the group.

Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
EDIT: Forgot my special bonus to initative. I get to roll twice and take the better result. Yah!

"Yup, that sure seemed too peaceful."
Initiative:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
As I appear to have won init, my first action will be:
Swift action to identify the critters for Kirin style
Knowledge Religion 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24 any information I get I will impart to the party. If I succeed I get a +2 on saves against things done by the creature and +2 AC against AOOs. Information I will look for (in order) special defenses, special attacks, etc.
Fire 2 arrows at one of the archers (which will be the one Kirin style is focused on).
deadly aim +rapid shot 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

They would be about 20ft away so easy to hit and charge.
Two of the skeletons fall down as one of them get struck in the skull causing it to shatter with an arrow. The other one gets its spinal cord caught with a cleaver coming clean in half. The one that floid hit will take some damage but still be fine.
What you can tell Yuri is that these are some good ol' boring skeletons that the Handsome Scorcher butt head reanimated to keep the likes of you people from stopping him. They have no real special defense besides dr 2 slashing and piercing. They are poorly made and managed so a few hits will drop them.
Le order of initiative:
1.Yuri
2. Anurh
3.Chef
4. Gerold
5. Skelly men
6.Doran
7. Floid
One of the archers will aim at Anurh, and fail miserably at his blasted AC. The remaining archer will try his luck as well. Failing just as bad. The hansom sorcerer must be cursing at him by now.
to hit: 1d20 ⇒ 17
to hit: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Anhur
First turn:
Anhur rushes towards the first Skelly and takes up a defensive stance, punching with his cestus.
I assume you mean DR 2/bludgeoning, as in DR 2 which can be bypassed by bludgeoning. Cestus can do bludgeoning or piercing, so I should bypass it either way.
Cestus: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28, Damage: 1d4 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Worth noting, until I take up Crane Style (first turn swift action), my AC is only 18 (flat-footed).
Anhur
2nd turn, after the Skellies
Anhur follows up with two quick blows while taking up another stance like a serpent ready to strike.
Cestus: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13, Damage: 1d4 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Cestus: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22, Damage: 1d4 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
Chef Bolognese
Chef gets out a wet nap and wipes the sand and bone dust off his rolling pin. Perhaps for a sharpening of attention in case there is something else lurking here. I agree mon amee, let us get to town right away.
Gm Razor
Right after the they get to walking again a cackle fills the party's ears. It is the Handsome sorcerer using some kinda spell to talk to you all. He laughs at you all Well since you losers were able to take down those things, I wonder if you idiots can take out their captain. With that a smaller skeleton jumps out from a building letting out a ugly shout.
We can reuse the initiative from last combat...so Go..GO go go go go.
Anhur
Assuming within charging distance.
Anhur charges towards the new Skelly, cestus flying like lightning.

Yuri recognizes him as a skeletal champion, he has Resistance to channel, and a dr/5 bludgeoning. He is also immune to cold and a whole lot hardier than your basic skeleton. Both of Yuri's shots go through his ribcage. Chef can tell that the skeleton is clad in heavy plate and has a really nice sword in his hand.
