Ahh! Somehow, the little "X new" things for this thread were turned off, so I haven't seen any of the new posts recently, and have been waiting ignorantly for new stuff to happen!
I haven't abandoned this game, and know that I will be more vigilant in the future.

Yeah, Fisher... while Helio's gone MIA for short periods before, this is an exceedingly long time to go on and without any word, even for him. A real shame, I truly think he's an excellent GM, and this game's been very awesome with awesome roleplayers all around as well.
I'll continue popping by to check up on this game. Who knows, maybe Helio will return...
Helio, if you do come back to us, sometimes I think GMs go MIA because they wing a new story arc but find they can't think of a good way to progress the storyline forward. And I know we went on an unplanned side quest concerning Vik's back story. If this is the case for you, I am totally fine with skipping back to the ship and carrying on with the main adventure, no harm done. I mean, ideally it would be nice to have a better result for Vik, but better imho to skip it than lose the entire game. :/
Hey everyone! It's been... quite a few months on my end of things. I wish I could say I'd managed my time better and held onto these PbP games properly, but life just has a way of kicking you right in the... well, you know. Repeatedly, sometimes. Things have been complicated but they've at least stabilized enough for me to get back to all the things that got left behind.
I cannot apologize enough to you all for leaving you hanging for this long, but I'm going to be getting caught up on my games this weekend and reading through to get my brain back in the game. I will get a post up this coming weekend and will attempt to return to the normal rate of posting after that.
I also wish I could promise that I won't suddenly go MIA again, but given the current state of real life stuff going down (details REDACTED), I really don't know what's going to come down the pipe these coming months. I will at least give proper notice if I have to go off the grid for extended period again, and apologize for failing to do so.
It's also a busy season for lots of people, so I fully understand that between leaving you hanging, potentially leaving you hanging again, and a general slowdown from normal things anyway, if anyone would like to just take their chips and go.
All that being said... I'm going to attempt to find places to streamline things on my end and keep the game going even despite all the random real-life things going down. At the very least, I think I'm going to leave off botting missing characters. Just too many numbers and spells and powers and stuff to take care of on top of everything else going on.
So yeah. Good to be back. Sorry ;.;

I totally get it. Unfortunately but necessarily, games like these must take the back burner to real life.
Take your time getting back up to speed. Sounds good re. streamlining. Yeah, if you can let us know of expected absences going forward, that would be great.

I sort of stopped checking in on this game, and just now realized that a month ago the GM was back. So... I'm at least a month behind. I'd kind of drifted off with superbusy Real Life before that (not to mentioned having gotten way oversubscribed with games I was GMing by PbP), meaning I'm probably more than that behind.
Will go read the IC thread now. Hope that I haven't been written out!

I've gone a quarter way through the first book.
I was at one point going to DM it for people, so I scanned through the first book. Game fell through though. Never played it
I've played right the way through with a home game.
Not sure if any one's finished it on the boards, though.
*waves* Saw one group do it, with a combination of PM/IM and a dedicated group got through in under a year.
I have yet to see any group get past book 3, Longest ever was TarkTX's game that went on for so long that 2-3 other adventure paths came out and they still didn't get off the Wormwood.

Sadly, I've never made it through any of the APs. Not even close. I've given up on that dream, lol. Just hoping to enjoy what I can find for as long as it lasts.
I've played through part of S&S book 1 a few times. The last of which I played with Bellamy in. ;)
I'm running a Reign of Winter game via VTT. We're about halfway through book 5. I anticipate that one going the distance.
I previously ran Kingmaker with some of the people from the same group. That was FtF. We got through book 3, and then I moved. (That's what ended the game.)
I *once* had a PbP make it what I believe was most if not all the way through book 1 of Rise of the Runelords. I joined a PbP of Kingmaker in progress that was in Book 2, and that game ended with a TPK (still in Book 2). I've never seen a PbP AP go very far. (I've tried to run a few myself... and am currently running a one-on-one Wrath of the Righteous that I picked up when the previous GM disappeared. I'm hoping that this time I will go the distance.)
Yeah, I've run a bunch of games, and I'm halfway through book 3 of Second Darkness. But I really want to play through S&S.

I'm definitely interested in a S&S game, Bellamy. At present, though, my schedule leaves me able to only post a few per week. In fact, I just quit one game because it required 1/day. My schedule will hopefully free up in time, but I can't say when that'll be.
Incidentally, the infrequent posting rate here has enabled me to stick around. Though it's been too infrequent here even for me, lol.
I've been GMing for quite a while now, too. My homebrewed F2F Pathfinder campaign's been going strong since 2008. I also started running a F2F Harry Potter-themed 5e D&D game last April for my friends and their young kids. I ran Carrion Crown as a PbP once a few years back, though it only lasted a year and we never got past book 1.
When I have more time, I have Kingmaker in mind for my next PbP venture, and with interesting tweaks to spice it up for both veteran and new Kingmaker players alike. Most notably, I intend to recruit maybe a dozen to fifteen players so we can have two or three teams of agents instead of just one. I'll probably just choose the players and let them choose their teams.
I'll probably run Carrion Crown again too further down the road... I really love that AP. :)

I'm actually in Book 5 of S&S as a player in a VTT game right now. So, I probably would not want to pick up a second run of it in a PbP.
