I assume you continue through the door.

A perpetual thick gray fog covers the floor of this ancient stone room to a height of six inches. Four alcoves extend from a small circular center. The north and south alcoves are lined with ceremonial slabs on which rest skeletal bodies garbed in old finery, the west alcove contains a spiral staircase that winds down from the room, and the east alcove contains only a simply wooden door in the east wall.

This room served as the ancestral family crypts for the Deckland family. The Decklands maintained this crypt until they were forced out of Absalom. In recent times, the lack of a anyone to perform the necessary rites gives the location a feeling of despair, reinforced by the unnatural fog that creeps in through the many cracks in the walls. Though the fog has no physical effect on those in the room, it gives the place an unnerving look.

"Hey, how did you make it so far?" one of two guards on the other side of the room asks.

The eagle flies around to the side and makes a diving swoop on the skeleton that was directly in front of it, its beak and talons glowing with holy power. Shoris raises his fist, and a bolt of positive energy shoots from it.

Watching the bewildering array of chaos that the encounter has become swirl about him, Adrastus draws his blade (though he knows it be nigh to useless against such undead abominations as these), hefts the weight of his shield upon his arm, and prepares as best he can for whatever may yet come of things.

In other words, there's not much I can see as doing right at the mo, so I'll go Defensive as a Standard Action and take the +4 Dodge Bonus to AC and give up the opp to make any Opportunity Attacks. From my position in the back, it doesn't look as if much is going to get around Kavaki at any rate.

Shoris moves around Kavaki to get a clear shot at one of the skeletons, and the eagle swoops down from where it had been hovering over the giant monk. It issues a war cry and attacks a skeleton.

While the eagle does not hit the skeleton, Shoris hits the one in front of him with an acid dart. This skeleton falls apart, spreading it's bones in the room. With the monk's flurry of blows finally the last skeleton standing falls apart. It's silent again. The two guards continue to flee upstairs.

Kavaki opens the door. Great, upright stones dominate this room, evenly spaced out to allow for easy passage between them. The stones have been perfectly carved to form bookshelves, each with six different shelves containing various books, nots, maps and other crammed-in documents. A perpetual thick gray fog covers the floor of this room to a height of six inches, and most of the documents on the lowest shelves of the bookcases appear to have rotted away because of condensation from this fog, giving the room a pungent, musty aroma.

Next to the door is another lemure, waiting for somebody to attack. Behind the lemure you se a woman with sorceress clothes. You can see that she moves her hands as if casting a spell.

Adrastus draws his shortbow while moving closer to the archives. Celeena casts a ray at Luciano but the ray misses it's target. She moves behind a shelf.

The lemure swings it's claws at Luciano, but also the lemure misses. Luciano uses his rapier to block the attack, strikes back and hits the lemure. Also this wound closes fast, leaving a minor scratch.

Shoris, please redo your action, Celeena is too far away now and has full cover behind the stone shelf.
