The Exchange

Also, I'm glad it is over. I do not know how much longer we could manage to flounder around in this combat before we would have died... But having someone like Lord Avid talk highly about us means more business prospects for Rico, so it's all good.

And now, Faction Journal Card
But I'm going to try claiming Mister Sareth Markell's market share in this town. As if the Aspis is trying to get his business and betraying him.
Intimidate vs DC 17: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
But it seems he doesn't take kind to that...

In that case, I would like to recruit Mister Sareth Markell to the Exchange, seeing as this guy is more capable than I thought. We should use him to expand our network.
Diplomacy vs DC 17: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
But it seems he REALLY hate me now... Oh well...

Guess I'll have to find a different way to make money. Rico is going to lurk around to find a more profitable business prospect in the area, one that hasn't anything to do with Mister Markell.
Stealth vs DC 17: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
Eureka! Rico has seen the future, and it is STILTS! He is going to buy several of them and distribute them accross Golarion!
That took forever...

Rico feels a lot better now, and he decides to make a special jingle with his kazoo to lure new people to his store.
Day Job, Perform (Wind): 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16 --> 15=10gp
People do not appreciate a good Kazoo jingle...

Dead Suns:

Yeah, it got a bit slapsticky at the end... Luckily the phantom crit really hard.

The Exchange

Male Halfling Bard (Hoaxer/Savage Skald) 2 | HP 11/19 | AC 20, T 15, FF 16 | Saves: F +3; R +7; W +2 (+4 vs Curses/Hexes/Language-Dependant)| Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal Vision | Bardic Performance 7/11 | Lvl 1 spells 4/4

I did have a lot of fun with the back and forths between Rico and the Blue Guard. Also amazingly fun that he kept making his save.

Liberty's Edge

Male Elf Magus 2 | HP: 12/15 AC: 16 (20 with shield) | T: 13 | FF: 13 | CMB: 3 CMD: 16 | F: +4 R: +3 W: +3 | Init: +5 | Low-light vision | Spells per day: 4/3 (4/0 left)| Arcana pool 0/4

17263-1 I suppose as it is my first full-fledged character for PFS.

It was a lot of fun, especially the non-combat encounters from Rico and Gorrec.

Dead Suns:

The roleplay was of excellent quality, something that is both harder and more easy to do in play by post.

Easier, as you can put in a lot of casual remarks, and play with character thoughts.
Harder, as you miss the real life interactions, so you have to think about how you are going to convey things in words.

As I'll be leaving on holiday soon, I wont start up a new adventure.
But if you are all interested in continuing, either with this character or another one, let me know, and I can check for appropriate adventures for the group.

Liberty's Edge

Male Elf Magus 2 | HP: 12/15 AC: 16 (20 with shield) | T: 13 | FF: 13 | CMB: 3 CMD: 16 | F: +4 R: +3 W: +3 | Init: +5 | Low-light vision | Spells per day: 4/3 (4/0 left)| Arcana pool 0/4

As a GM, your holiday is well deserved. I would like to continue with Araklifest, if you would like (and the others do as well)?

The Exchange

Male Halfling Bard (Hoaxer/Savage Skald) 2 | HP 11/19 | AC 20, T 15, FF 16 | Saves: F +3; R +7; W +2 (+4 vs Curses/Hexes/Language-Dependant)| Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal Vision | Bardic Performance 7/11 | Lvl 1 spells 4/4

I do not mind continuing with this group. It doesn't necessarily have to be Rico, I also have two lvl 2 melee units if we need a frontline. Although Rico is a lot of fun to play, I already heard that Christiaan will use his first level rebuild to remake Gorrec into a bard, don't know the plans of the other players.

So just to place it out there: if due to changes into characters we would be in need of a frontline, I have 2 other characters available to take that job. For all other potential teams, there is Rico.

Also, have a nice holiday, oh great voice from the sky!

HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision

The problem will mainly be trying to fit me into a 1-5 adventure, as I've already played a lot of them. And I'm not really sure what I'd like to do with this character. The last two adventures were just me trying stuff out, but I can't really find a sweet spot.
This can all be solved by switching GMs. I'm not sure how attached Tineke is to being the GM for this group of insanity, but I'd like to try my hand at GMing PbP, and this seems like a good opportunity. If everyone's okay with it, of course.

Dead Suns:

Of course I am attached to you all! But I am totally supportive if Kwinten wants to try out GMing in play by post.

Sovereign Court

Male CN Half-Orc Spiritualist 1 |Despair Phantom HP: 10/10 AC: 14 | T:11, | FF: 13 | CMD: 11 | ACP 0 F: +5, R: +2, W: +3 | Init: +1 | Perc: +0, SM: +0 |Darkvision

I would like to continue playing in PBP. Probably not with Gorrec, As I would like to play him in at the table a bit, but I have some other level 2 characters lying around. A swashbuckler, and a Occultist.

Tineke, thank you for running.

If you would like to GM Kwinten, that would be great.

And Maurice, Goreec started as a happy bard until the DOOM incident. So he has conquered despair, and returns to his former Magnificent zelf.

Recruit Lord Avid: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19

Liberty's Edge

Male Elf Magus 2 | HP: 12/15 AC: 16 (20 with shield) | T: 13 | FF: 13 | CMB: 3 CMD: 16 | F: +4 R: +3 W: +3 | Init: +5 | Low-light vision | Spells per day: 4/3 (4/0 left)| Arcana pool 0/4

If Tineke doesn't mind, for me Kwinten can have his turn in GMing. I stick to Araklifest: it's my only PFS-character and I don't want to change (yet).

Dead Suns:

This link should let you download the chronicle sheet

This is handy for Araklifest and May.

I printed three paper chronicles myself for Gorrec/Rawlins/Rico, as I will be seeing you guys tonight.

We can continue to use this threat to discuss what we will play and with which character (where applicable)

The Exchange

Male Halfling Bard (Hoaxer/Savage Skald) 2 | HP 11/19 | AC 20, T 15, FF 16 | Saves: F +3; R +7; W +2 (+4 vs Curses/Hexes/Language-Dependant)| Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal Vision | Bardic Performance 7/11 | Lvl 1 spells 4/4

If Kwinten stays a player, than our 1-5 options are reduced to either one of the multiparters, or #4-15: The Cyphermage Dilemma.

If Tineke becomes a player, and Kwinten the GM, then our options are (without multiparters): #1-49: Among the Dead, #2-13: Murder on the Throaty Mermaid, #4-15: The Cyphermage Dilemma, #6-18: From Under Ice, and 7-12: The Twisted Circle.

I guess I’m just as hard to blame as Kwinten, for removing me opens up 7 other scenarios (multiparters not included).

Also, Modules. I find them lasting a little too long for PbP, and rather do them F2F. I guess Gallows of Madness might be an exception, but I know that one is still fresh in the mind of 4 of us, so that might not be the best of options anyway.

Dead Suns:

I find that the dungeon crawl modules work very well in PbP (like crypt of the everflame).
Everything goes by room, so you devide everything into little tension arcs.

HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision

Cyphermage Dilemma would work pretty well, I think. There's some wonkiness here and there, but I think it'll work great for PbP.

Silver Crusade

female Dwarf Druid (wolf shaman) 1 | HP 15/15 | AC 20, T 12, FF 18 | Saves: F +6; R +2; W +4 | Init +2 | Speed 20 | Perception +2 | Dark Vision | Spirit Animal Stone 1/1 +2 ac/cdm/percept vs flying

115375-8

Thank you all,
It was a lot of fun.
And I'm glad Nitoriu helped out a lot in the end :)

Dead Suns:

Welcome back May :)

Kwinten could make his own event now if he wants. I would advice against starting the actual game as I'll be gone for two weeks, but we can start seriously discussing characters, and kwinten can take it easy setting things up.

HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision

I started the PbP campaign here. If people would dot in, that'd be great. I'll mail everyone as well, in case you're not checking this anymore.
