May walks into the bog, creating flank for Nitoriu.
Nitoriu attacks
1d20 + 2 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 + 1 + 2 = 191d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

May attacks the centepide.

"We may have won the fight, but to what end? Just some pointless shed blood to add a bit of gruesome colour to our bleak existence in this world."
Gorrec continues his positive messages at least until the spell has ended.

" Whaaaaaa" Omg you can't take one step in a cave now a days before a vendor pops up on ya. Thanks though .
I think it was wise to get rid of the mites, one of them would do nothing, but a bunch of brave ones with a centipide could hurt them fishy folk.
Bhaa, this fight has only reminded me of the plight our captain faced outside. Lets get out of here .
Araklifest

"First we have to go to the end of this cave, according to our gilman," reminds Araklifest May. "and perhaps it is his way to do pest control and use us as his pestbusters."
Gorrec the Magnificent

Gorrec stands up, dusts his clothes off and joins the group. "Good job beating those guys, and don't worry about my outburst, it was just to change it up a bit. Only telling how great you are becomes boring after a while."

"We should get further. Without food to bring, we cannot attend the Gillman ritual."
Rico looks around a bit fidgety.
"And that remaining blue guy might find some reinforcements... Normally I applaud droves of customers, but they didn't seem like the kind that carry money around..."

Rico and Gorrec hear something!
"“As the legendary Gregaro Voth successfully battled the wild beasts in the deepest reaches of the Mwangi Expanse, so shall I defeat you, foul servant of Lamashtu!”
Its the voice of Janira, faint in the distance!
"Honest" Rico Fink
|
"Wait a minute... Do you hear that?"
Rico signals the rest to be quiet for a while.
"That is Janira! Our captain is here, and she is fighting someone! We must come to her aid, immediately!"
Rico dashes towards the source of the sounds (as fast has his tiny legs and overloaded body allow), grabbing a strange pill from his pocket.

Hurrying down the tunnels to save Janira, suddenly a patch of what looked like fungal overgrown tunnel wall moves and lashes out!

"Rico, do you have some cleaning supplies in one of your backpacks?"
Gorrec moves closer to Rico and starts looking into Janira's backpack.
Araklifest
|
Araklifest feels dizzied for a moment and is greatful for the healing Rico delivered. He uses one of his arcane pool points to grant his weapon an enhancement bonus for 1 minute.
Swift action
Hardened by Gorrecs performance and Rico's healing, he attacks the creature in front of him, with no place to go or to hide.

"Oh, heavens, such foul creatures to ambush us in these cramped corridors! There's barely any room to maneuver! Here, chew on this, instead!"

My bad, its knowledge dungeoneering for the whole lot of them
Rico: Gives Araklifest some much needed relief in the form of healing.
May: Directs Nitoriu to attack. The wolf sinks its fangs into the amoeba, damaging it. But learns a painfull lesson that giant amoeba's are really acidic in nature.
acid damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2
May and Nitoriu are now squeezing
Gorrec: starts his performance.
[spoiler=knowledge dungeoneering Gorrec]
You recognise the thing behind the slime mold as a gelatinous cube. Looks like its a young one, as you have read about them, and usually they are more the size of the slime mold.
Cubes are dangerous as they secrete an anesthetizing slime. Its how they hunt: Paralyze the prey, then engulf them for slow digestion.
[spoiler]
Araklifest: feeling better after Rico's healing, you stab the slime mold square in its center. It starts leaking foul fluids.
Raziq: summons another eagle. The eagle tears the slime mold to shreds. But it doesnt look quite healthy after its done.
Amoebas: The Amoeba in front of Nitoriu tries to slam itself into the wolf.
slam: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
The other Amoeba moves up and tries to slam into Araklifest.
slam: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Cube: The cube slithers up, and feels like it would like a bird snack as it tries to engulf the bird.
The eagle can either make an attack of oppurtunity, but then it will automatically be engulfed. Or make a reflex save. On a succesfull save, it is pushed into a different square, or if it fails, it is still engulfed

Continue performance, after this round 1 round left. Don't forget that I can instantly end the performance to give someone a reroll on a failed save, take it when you need it.
"Oh goody, the slime cube of dishonor also loves to paralyze you and then eat you, as if the humiliation of fighting it isn't bad enough already."
"Come on, there must be something in this backpack that works on slimes," Gorrec mutters while diving into Janira's backpack. "Aha, this looks promising! Hey smart guy, take this wand burning hands (CL 3rd, 4 charges) and start cleaning this hallway."
Gorrec hands Raziq the wand labeled 'Burning Hands'.

Aren't you an occultist? Those have burning hands on their spell list, at least, according to the latest download of the occult adventures.

Due to shield compainion (lasts a hour) I share half of the acid damage on Nitoriu.

Your generous god had the flu. Again. I dont know why I keep getting ill this winter, but it sucks. Also, the corridor is very small, it would be most likely that Gorrec gives the wand to Raziq, who in turn passes it on to Araklifest.
Rico: Heals Araklifest
Raziq Smashes his warhammer into the blob, causing it to start oozing fluids. 13 damage on green
Gorrec: continues performing, and finds the wand in the backpack and passes it onto Raziq
Nitoriu: Undeterred by the acid, the wolf bites again, damaging the blob, but taking damage in turn.
acid damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1
6 + 3 = 9 damage on blue
Araklifest: The rapier finds it marks sure enough, and leaves a deep puncture in the creatures side.
11 damage on cube
Amoeba: The amoeba in the upper tunnel tries to slam into Nitoriu again.
slam: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
But again the wolf is too nimble.
The other amoeba tries to slam into Araklifest.
slam: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
But it doesnt have much luck either.
Cube Having one meal secured, the cube tries to secure the next and slams at Araklifest.

attack with rapier +1 and performance: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
damage with rapier +1 and performance: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
3x times 11 damage in a row: not bad at all!
Raziq the Shrouded
|
Raziq looks puzzled at the wand.
"Burning Hands? A spell I haven't quite mastered, I must admit. It seems like a useful thing to know, I shall research it posthaste when I'm back home."
He takes the wand and holds it out to Araklifest.
If I have any actions left, I'll boop the cube once more. I'll put it in spoiler tags, just in case. Also, not sure if Gorrec's performance still continues, so add one if that's the case.

Rico thinks a bit, Araklifest is healed and doing great at the moment. What can he still do?
Rico thinks to himself: Wait... I still have a crossbow with me... Maybe I should give it a try... An elderly Gnome with rainbow hair suddenly floats through his mind, and says:"Keep that thing loaded, son, at all times. At worst, it could go off and you shoot yourself or someone else in the foot. But those experiences keep us healthy in the long run, so it is ok."
Words to live by, Dad. Words to live by.
Rico drops his wand and the Vomit Capsule in his square, and pulls from his back a light crossbow. He aims clumsily at Amoeba Green, and pulls the trigger.
"FREE DELIVERY, JUST FOR TODAY!"
Crossbow with performance: 1d20 + 4 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 + 1 - 4 = 20 versus Amoeba Green with cover.
Damage with performance: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Confirm?: 1d20 + 4 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 + 1 - 4 = 11 versus Amoeba Green with cover.
Extra damage?: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

I'm sorry! I do not know why I get crits! But before your seathing anger towards the situation get the better of you, realize I throwed Snake Eyes on both damage rolls. Which means that Gorrec is doubling my damage output at the moment.
May Flower

Nitoriu continues the attack
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 121d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
If the amoeba is dead than Nitoriu and May swich places and May will throw the flask to the red one. If not she will throw to the blue one from around the corner.
I'm not sure what modifiers that will be so I hope Tineke can help me out with that.
Gorrec the Magnificent
|
Wait, you are a halfling with a Gnome dad?
"Great shot Rico, are you sure you don't have some Magnificent Orc Blood in you? Your shooting style looks a bit like that of Gorrec Wolfseye, except your target didn't have an eye to hit."
"Here, have something that can really hurt those slimes" he says, as he hands Rico an flask of alchemist fire.
This was the last round of performance for today. You can still use Saving Finale to reroll 1 failed save during the actions of the slimes, but after that you are on your own.
I am not going to throw alchemist fire etc, as not hitting you is next to impossible from my angle. If anyone else wants an item from the backpack (contents on page 3 of this thread,) please shout for it.
"Honest" Rico Fink
|
He is adopted by Gnomes, as mentioned 2 months ago. It is why he can organize his backpack so well. But it seems it didn't stick in people's memory that well. I need to play that up some more, I guess.
| GM Woran |
You are all insane and I love you all.
Araklifest: Again the rapier makes a deep gash, but it looks like the cube is a tough one.
11 + 11 = 22 damage on cube
Rules for passing items is super weird. As you're both not moving and we're having some fluid initiative, I say, both Araklifest and Raziq give up a move action works just fine.
Raziq: Passing on the wand to Araklifest, Raziq brings his warhammer to bear on the cube. Its hard in the small confines of the corridor. Luckily it seems the cube hasnt heard of dodging.
22 + 11 = 33 damage on cube
Rico: Rico does his new found nickname of 'lucky' honor by killing the green amoeba!
May: Nitoriu takes a last leathal bite, and the amoeba bites the dust, scalding the poor wolfs muzzle one last time.
acid damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1
With more room in the corridor, May chucks the alchemists fire at the remaining amoeba.
ranged attack may: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
you are sooooooooooo lucky that ooze AC sucks :P
Also, 1 splash damage on the cube
Gorrec: Finishes his magnificent song and hands some more ammo to the 'lucky' one.
Amoeba: Not liking being set on fire, the remaining amoeba tries to slam into May.
slam attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
But its still unlucky as ever.
Maybe Rico his secret power is that he absorbs luck from poor innocent GM monsters?
CubeBeing a pretty mindless thing, it tries to slam into araklifest again.

See, I am blaming Rico.

Gorrec does not sing, he has performance oratory, so as long as he keeps babbling he inspires people either by telling how great he is, how doomed they all are, or being annoyed because fighting slimes is not something you want to be known for.
Gorrec stands up and moves towards Nitoriu.
"You fought bravely and will have a special place in my stories Nitoriu."
If necessary, he will draw the CLW wand of Janira and use it on either Mayflower or Nitoriu next round
Maurice, the reason that your backstory is so easy to forget is that you use 'organize' and 'gnomes' in the same sentence. Most people's brains will reject that sentence immediately on hearing it.

Good point... I'll hereby will declare that his parents learned him how to properly "stuff" a backpack.

Rico then throws the flask at the Gelatinous Cube.
