Oskar doesn't want to admit he doesn't know WTH Vy said.

In an almost deadpan, but still slightly concerned tone Vitro translates; "Guys, make sure it doesn't grab you and take you for a swim."
''Vitro'' Wizjietroczenon
"Let's explore the open passage first, make sure we don't get sandwiched again."
GM Woran
Checking out the side passage, you find dozens of strange dead bodies scattered about. Most are sea birds and ospreys, but there are six dead goblins here as well. Each body is literally skin and bones, as if all of the interior organs and muscles have somehow been drained away, leaving behind skeletons draped with leathery, slowly rotting skin.
Justin knows this is the fate of those failing to get free of a tentamort

Oskar shrugs. "Understandin' you is always kinda relative thing..."
GM Woran
Most of the bodies are a rotting heap. Searching trough it, you find most of the items on the bodies have started rotting with them. One shortbow has fallen to the side and has escaped most of the damage. Is appears to be of masterwork quality.
One of the armors on a dead goblin *pings* in Justins detect magic. Looking it over, it is a +1 hide armor (made from dogs).

Vitro marshals everyone in front of the door again.
"Everyone ready... open!"
GM Woran
Behind the door lies a long hallway, that splits to the north and south.
Two large stone doors sit in the western wall, their faces carved with images of horrific, deformed monsters clawing their way out of pregnant women of all races.

"Lamashtu. The Mother of Monsters. I've read that sometimes she watches over Goblins, too. Maybe the tribe has a Cleric down here."
After seeing stunned looks from his party members, Dayo elaborates.
"I didn't learn that back home. My Mentor here in Varisia taught me how to read Common using religious texts."
''Vitro'' Wizjietroczenon
Vitro quietly speaks: "Well we were expecting a shrine here, and the diary we recovered did imply Lamashtu. So we might find you-know-who here." He looks at Vy "Are you ready for this?"
Looking at the other doors, he adds "Should we go for the shrine directly while we're at full strength, or do we sweep the other rooms first to make sure we don't get sandwiched?"
If we decide to go in I'll cast Shield.
Vy "Snowflake" Baro
Vy makes a growling noise that seems to come from a dimension far away. He shakes his head, freeing his head from the road it was on, and he nods to Vitro he's ready for whatever may come.
GM Woran
You wait until Vitro casts shield, then push open the doors. They swing open easily.
Stone fonts containing frothy dark water sit to the north and south of the eastern entrance to the room, and twin banks of stone pillars run the length of the long chamber. At the western end, shallow stairs rise to a platform about two feet off the ground.
The walls surrounding this platform are lit by hanging braziers that emit glowing red smoke, giving the place an unnerving crimson lighting that throws the bas-relief carvings of countless monsters feasting on fleeing humans into lurid display.
A black marble altar stone, its surface heaped with ashes and bone fragments, squats before a ten-foot-tall statue. The sculpture depicts a very pregnant but otherwise shapely naked woman who wields a kukri in each taloned hand and has a long reptilian tail, birdlike taloned feet, and the snarling head of a three-eyed jackal with a forked tongue. The left kukri flickers with fiery orange light while the right one glows
with a cold blue radiance.
When you open the doors, two howls erupt from near the back ceiling, making you feel cold to your marrow.

GM Woran
The howling of the hounds shudders trough you. Your hair stands on end, a cold sweat breaks out on your back.
Somewhere at the back of your mind a primal instinct kicks in. There is only one thing to do.
Run.
What happens next is a blur. You see the others scrambling about, but you dont care. You have to get away. Away from here. Find somewhere it is safe.
You run. You fall. You push someone out of the way. You scramble on all fours. Doors. Corridors. Light. Dark.
It becomes all a blurr. You hear voices shouting. Your friends? Your own? More enemies?
Something heavy body checks you to the ground. You turn around in terror. Have the dogs found you? You desperately roll on your back, hands up to defend against the bite that must surely come.
But you see a different kind of ugly face bearing down on you. A toothy grin flashes from a brown, broad face with a squat nose and broad ears.
You hesitate for a moment, and that is all it takes for the bugbear to bring down a heavy flail.
Your terror is replaced by darkness.
-------------------------------------------------
The first thing you notice when you come to, is a splitting headache. Not sure you want to open your eyes yet, you bring your hands to your head. Sticky lump throbs on your scalp.
Cracking an eye open, you see stone walls. Sitting up carefully, a wave of dizziness passes and you can see that you are in a cell. Alone. Trough the bars you can see one of the hounds in front of a door. Its currently sleeping.
Looking about quietly, you see you are alone in your cell.
You listen closely, hoping that you can hear the others. But all you can make out is faint chanting, coming from the direction of the door the hound is laying in front of.
Just when you are about to quietly call out to the others, you hear a door creak, ever so softly.
Pressing your face against the bars, you can just make out the door at the end of the cell block.
Its Shalelu! She motions you to be quiet as she draws back her bow at the sleeping hound...
coup de grace with a bow
The arrow buries itself straight in the houds eye. It trashes for a moment, then lies still.
Whispering, Shalelu looks at you. "Are you all allright? Where is Snowflake?"
And here is where we pick the story back up. Ive updated the map and you're all in an individual cell.

Fiddeling with the lock, Justin notices he's not getting anywhere. These are some quality locks.
"You give that another try, and I'll see if we wont get stabbed in the back."
Shalelu silently moves over to the other door in the room and opens it.
"Wait... another hallway? What in the nine hells is up with these goblins and hallways?"
