The shaggy ape-demon further down the hallway vanishes from sight and suddenly reappears amid the sound of more spellcasting. It reappears in the southern hallway, howls delightedly, and advances as more of the crisp language rings out.
Stepping up to Fenrik and Tarquin with what might be called a grin, it belches forth a massive cone of fire that catches everyone in the hallway. 6d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 5, 3, 1, 2) = 17 1d4 ⇒ 1

@ Tarquin, can you explain how your natural attacks have a +15 damage mod? I'm seeing +7 from Str and +4 from PA at most..
@ EVERYONE: Baal is paralyzed, and thus has not caste haste yet. So no hasted attacks, and no +1 on attack rolls until he starts moving again.
Fenrik slashes with his sword twice, hitting once, but the blow he inflicts are instantly healed. Oriandor (still has an outstanding AoO) slashes once at the face over his head, doing minor damage. Tarquin has better luck but calculations will wait on my question for now.

Of course! Base is +5 due to 20 str, Mutagen gives +2 due to str increase, power attack gives +4, arcane strike gives another +2. Hmm I thought I had another +2 for sure. I calculated it some time ago to be sure because of the various bonuses. Maybe that was from Heroism but I have not used it this battle yet.. Terribly sorry for the confusion it seems the total should be +13 per attack, not +15. It has been some time since I did all the calculations, But I will change it in my status bar to avoid confusion.

Sorry folks, super busy weekend at work and (as you might imagine) these posts take a looong time to write. I'll get us going again tonight.

@ Kargen: moot at this point, but no DR and paralysis on its bite plus the ability to implant its eggs in a victim.
@ Oriandor: the DC is 15, and you only get that check if you fall intentionally.
@ Tarquin: given that it says 'cannot wield weapons' but can retrieve a 'small, stowed item,' with my own tiefling I go with any item 1 pound or less. Again the point is moot for now (see below). Good point about the xill though:
Reflex: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 10 + 2 = 29 yup it's fine
Kargen sends a volley at the xill, hitting and wounding it once. Meanwhile, in the pit, Tarri heals herself and Baal gives himself the power of flight. Just a hair's breadth of time later, Oriandor musters his magical force to dispel the pit, bringing both Pathfinders (and the owlbear) back to ground level. Fenrik lays into the daemon, doing some minor damage on his second blow, shortly before Nokazi sends a rain of arrows into the xill and Tarquin mauls the daemon with his claws. Both creatures vanish to their original plane amid hideous howls.
The vargouille tries again uselessly to assault Nokazi while the sound of spellcasting again fills the room.

Then, suddenly, a massive rhinoceros with glowing red eyes appears mid-hallway. Another order is shouted in infernal.
The imposing beast charges, horn first. The resulting impacts leaves Tarquin bleeding all over the stone floor with a gaping hole in his ribcage.
Gore @ Tarquin: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 10 + 2 = 29 HIT Damage: 4d6 + 16 ⇒ (1, 2, 2, 6) + 16 = 27 "I'm not dead yet!" Stabilize rolls please!
To make matters worse, another dimensional door opens near the purple-flamed candle and out steps another daemon. Its howl of delight rings in the Pathfinders ears as they ready themselves to face these two new challenges...
Round IV - bold may act!
1. Nokazi (68/76hp), Tarquin (-11/45hp, bleeding out, unconscious)
2. Guard (unconscious, 28nl), ???, vargoille (Blue 18nl), rhino, daemon
3. Kargen (28/36hp), Tarri (6/40hp, Hugo 8/39hp), Fenrik (44/52hp), Baal (15/46hp), Oriandor (30/33hp)
EDIT: keep forgetting the vargouille's augment summoning bonuses. Still wouldn't have hit Nokazi (either time).

Skull can't be flanked by Tarri because it's above you, but that hardly matters:

Wow my dice are hot. No one seems to mind!
Shouting can be heard above, followed by the tramp of many footsteps. "You lot! Get down there and stop the intruders! Do NOT engage the beasts! You there, go round up the others!"
Four fearful, sweating guards come cautiously down the stairs, eventually setting eyes on the Pathfinders, the vargoille, and the daemon. "WHAT THE CRAP IS THAT?!?!"

"Hold it off, I'll see to the prisoner!" Kargen zips around the corner using his hasted speed. He heads for the unconscious man manacled to the table.
I have enough hasted speed to get to him with a double move, but I'm not sure what that other thing is on the map. If it turns out to be hostile, Kargen would stop immediately.
