"Aye. Sometimes Gorzeh abides."

Looking around, Taranis opts to leave the food. "If we find survivors, I'll dedicate magic to freshening this up. Meanwhile, we're not done here yet." Taranis leads the party to the neighboring building.

Taranis marches over to the next building. A few ravens sitting by the entrance take off noisily at your approach, circling round in a wide berth to join the other birds descending by the grange to feast on the many dead rats scattered there.

The neighboring building is a cottage that has cheerful curtains in its windows. A number of wooden children’s toys lie abandoned in the front yard.

"Salt. This will not be good." After checking at the door, Perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21 Taranis and the others enter the home. Before crossing the threshold though, the Baron adds, "Let us be respectful of what we find, but anyone who damages the young will face my wrath."
