Carl may have finally gotten the hang of this "cleave" stuff. ;-)
Carl charges one goblin with fury of a man denied for so long. He slashes into the first and, with the same stroke, into the second, cutting both down.
Not to be outdone, Beleg strikes out at the other set, dropping first one, then arcane marking the other with his black blade, across the neck and severing its head.

Out of initiative!
Recap description, in case you missed it...
Within, the floor of this room is hard-packed soil, as if the builders either ran out of lumber after building the walls and roof, or as if they simply never thought about building a floor. A number of poorly preserved horse and dog heads are mounted along the eastern wall, while along the southern wall hangs a pair of large black-feathered wings tacked to the wall with daggers.

The horses and dogs appear to have been mundane farm animals, but the feathered wings once belonged to a harpy!
You do not detect any magic, but your sharp eyes note that one of the daggers used to display the wings has a pearl handle and is likely worth more than the others.

Wow, you guys are awesome! Quiven barely has time to get his compliment out before all the goblins are dispatched. That was so impressive! I wish I knew how to kill two goblins with one move!
After Maddie says her peace Quiven will ask, What's a harpy?
Taking a look around, the halflings sees all the doors. Umm, which way do we go, Beleg?

With some help, Quiven scrambles through the trap door after checking it. Atop, he finds a floor with no other exits, and two Small shortbows with a cache of arrows. It seems the now-dead goblins were supposed to be on guard up here, but came across a treasure trove of pickles and ate themselves into a food coma.
The battlements about this tower are considerably shorter than those of the other tower from which the arrows came; there is less cover and the halfling feels not a little exposed.

This door is not trapped, but it is indeed locked.

This large courtyard is open to the sky. Tenacious clumps of partially trampled grass grow fitfully here and there in the hard-packed earth, in places stained with blood or scratched with furrows. To the north, what appear to be two dead goblins are slumped at the entrance to an outbuilding.
Of more immediate concern are the four goblin dogs running free here!
