Thanking Desna, and Fastenhyme, that she is not a pin cushion Marianne dwindles back down to zize and races behind her foes to flank with Rapunzel. She then executes a clumsy thrust.

Marainne frowns, "Seems a shame to let such a beautiful weapon go unused, would your Huscarl King not have preferred to see it go on protecting the people he did? As far as I am concerned it is yours to do with as you see fit, but I feel it would better serve his memory if it served to protect you."

"Shadow Lodge came for it once, probably come back for it again." Jon frowns at the idea of just putting it back. "Keep it or bury it, but better bury it somewhere else. Somewhere deep and strong."

Yay!
Hiryla takes the axe and with his clansman, returns to the keep to bury it. Some of the warriors climb above the keep and set off an avalanche, hiding the keep once more under tons of snow, ice, and rock.
Returning, he he tells the party that you are all now adopted members of the Snowmask tribe. Granting you a boon! The party follows the Kellids back to the village where your status of Snowmask Brothers and Sister is cemented by a ritual ceremony.

Returning to Absalom, Valsin, Drang, and some of the other Venture-Captains congratulate you on rooting out the Shadow Lodge menace and promise to take the information to the Decemvirate.
As things settle down, Valsin comes over to the group. "You don't look worse for the wear with all the time spent in those cold lands, but for your next mission, I have something else in mind. Osirion! You have plenty of warmth there!" He begins to laugh as he sees the look on everyone's faces. "Get some rest and restock. You ship leaves in two days!"
Chronicles will be sent out shortly. They're finished, I was just waiting on the axe decision.
