That was a pretty devious set-up, with the swarm and the sewer gas! Of course you're going to use fire against the spiders...or jump in the water and have to save vs disease.

Mohok will stand on one side of the door, who'd like to flank on the other? We can attack them one by one as they come in, pick up AoO's if they move into the room, while our ranged folk pepper them with ranged things.
