Koriana sneers at Brutus and takes a step back. I can tell this is going nowhere. I'll tell you no more until I have your assurance that you hand over Thalia.
Koriana sneers at Brutus. Fine! You decided your fate here. I tried to reason with you, now I'll have to take the girl by force! She nods to the two men in the shop, while she takes a step back toward the backroom.

Steve wiggles his eyebrows up and down at Koriana. "Playing hard-to-get, eh?"
Misfortune Hex, DC 16. If it works, I'll cackle and start the 5 ft Tango out of line of sight. If not, move out of line-of-sight from potential bads.

Steve steps up and puts a hex on Koriana, her posture slumping a little as it takes effect. The witch then cackles triumphantly!
Andrazi draws his blade and stabs at Koriana, but misses.
Koriana steps back and throws a flask that bursts on Andrazi in a fiery blast!
Brutus steps down and puches at the man, but only one of his fists connects!
The man draw morningstars and attack, but only the man attacking Brutus connects!
Koriana cries out as Andrazi steps foward and stabs her with his blade.
Xenobia then steps forward and casts a spell on Andrazi!
Steve steps over and gives the stink eye to the man near Brutus! The vaguely familiar man's shoulders sag as Steve begins to cackle!
Koriana lobs another onto Andrazi, but he appears to absorb the damage!
Xenobia manages to dodge the majority of the splashing fire, taking minimum scorching!
Brutus lands two hard strikes on the man! The man's eyes water, but he still stands!
The men return attacks, but both miss as they realize they have come up against worthy opponents!

Steve, the least worthy of the combatants, will first hex the last remaining bad. "You suuuuuuuure you don't want to join in, lads? We've got a pretty good ratio, but you'll only get fourth dibs, baw haw haw!" He'll then take a step east (or northeast, if the bookcase isn't a hard enough corner.) Steve then calls for "Bird! Get in here, you dolt!"
Andrazi continues to hem in Koriana, but misses with the stabby-stab!
Steve gives the stink eye to the other man, but he defiantly crosses his eyes and sticks out his tongue at the venerable elf!
Xenobia swings twice at the insolent man, but both strikes miss!
Seeing how Andrazi shook off the effect of her last bomb, Koriana steps back, reaches into her pocket and throws a sticky bag at Andrazi!
The bag bursts on Andrazi and he finds himself stuck to the floor!
Brutus punches the man thoroughly, knocking him unconscious!
The remaining man attacks Xenobia, but falters as he sees his fellow go down!
Andrazi begins cutting himself loose!
Xenobia strikes the man once with her weapon!
Steve tries to daze the man, but his uses his cross-eyed tactic again!
Koriana smashes another bomb on Andrazi, but his once again absorbs the damage.
Koriana then makes a desperate run for the door, trying to avoid everyone.
Andrazi's hand snakes out and stabs Koriana as she runs by!
Xenobia takes a swing, but the half-elf ducks and the strike misses.
Brutus then grabs the alchemist's ankle, causing her to crash to the ground, face smashing into the floor!
A shrill scream of pain escapes from Koriana as she hit the floor. You have bested me and my men. Stand down Mandas, before they kill you. You win Pathfinders. The woman says, rolling over and showing her open hands.
Koriana sits up rubbing the side of her head. "I don't know what you want to know. I thought it was all fairly obvious.....her father," Korianna nods at Thalia, "had her kidnappped after her found out about her rebellious streak." She levels a stare at Thalia. "He even found out about your plans to break up the power monopoly among the old money families. I'm not sure how much more I can spell it out to you" Koriana says.
Koriana grimaces. Not really. Thalia runs out of the shop and summons Captain Merton. She proceeds to inform the halfling of the nature of her fathers invovlement in her kidnapping and has him arrested. While that is going on Koriana pulls Brutus to the side and tells him about some incriminating missives she keeps secreted in a lockbox beneath the floorboards under her desk. Collectively, the documents provide incomplete evidence that the Andares family has colluded with several other local families to rig local elections and keep each other in important offices. The documents also suggest the Sander Bryton might be involved in helping Tercio.
Thalia tells you that, although Bryton may be suspect, he could provide the Society with military aid. The courts eventually convict Tercio Andreas of betraying his oath of officeand Common Rule, stripping him of property and position. Upon Thalia advice, the party bargins with Sander Bryton and the consul personally convinces the General Reginald Cormoth to send Eagle Knights to the aid of Nerosyan.
Thalia's unswerving adherence to Common Rule and her role in rooting out corruption cause the judge to rule in favor of her request to maintain much of the family's property with some concessions. Thalia then donates much of the Andares' fortune to the Pathfinder Society.
Venture-Captain Brackett congratulates the party for a job well done and garnering the Society much needed aid in the efforts near the Worldwound.
