Heal up, and take 1 round to buff, if you would like. You may move within the red outline. Slide #10. I will start this encounter at 10:00PM CDT

May as well go help in the fight. Iovarl will use a wand charge for Mage Armour and he's good to go.

Makon *grunts*... So the Kellids have decided to stay and fight...My axe hungers...let's join them! No practical buffs before combat for Makon..he's ready to go.

When they leave the leaders' tent, Atronia brings out the wands and approaches Grubglub. "You took a hit before, didn't you?" She touches the wand to the grippli's shoulder and uses it until he seems to feel better. She then does the same for herself.

As usual, I'm alternating between wands. This post took charges from 2 Iovarl's and 3 from Grubglub's. If you have not been keeping track, it means so far, since the beginning of the scenario, I have used 4 from Iovarl's and 4 from Grubglub's. The first three charges are on Grubglub, so he's at full health. The next two are on me.

![]() |

GrubGlub heads out with the others in order to meet this threat head on. He bows towards Atronia as she taps him with his wand, saying "My thanks, Lady. I was just about to ask you for some assistance, but your kindness spoke first!" With this, the monk joins the front lines of the battle line to await the attack.

The next successful melee or ranged attack made by each PC before the end of the adventure automatically gains the benefits of the boosted Allied Offensive aid token effect.

Grubglub hits red with his net, entangling him!
Humbert and Iovari realize that these are ectoplasmic humans. They are medium undead (oops, wrong skill, but the checks are the same). They are resistant to damage that isn't slashing, they are covered by a horrifying ooze which can transfer to the target of their slam attack, and can phase through solid object, though they are not incorporeal. They can also air walk.
Enrique, Makon, and Atronia are up!

★★★OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT★★★
Medda rides by, calling above the din of the raging battle, “The path is clear—we can reach the valley that holds the stone circle. Let us band together and stop the undead tide. I am concerned that some of the foul creatures had the name ‘Eshimka’ on their rotting lips. We must stand together and use all of our power to close this black portal before it’s too late!”
Fighting side-by-side, the Twinhorn following and Pathfinders have carved a path to the stone circle. This affords only a brief opening to stop the undead army, and the fighting will be difficult.
@Table GMs: You have until October 5 to run encounter J on page 38. The Uncertain Opportunity condition on page 38 is in effect.

![]() |

The team slices the undead creatures to bits, right before they hear the call from Medda.
The only buffs still up would be your mage armor spells.
The clearing on the riverbank features a circle of standing stones with a large stone altar at its center. A shadowy tear oats above the altar, so dark that what little light shines from the stars seems to become trapped inside. Eight large tendrils of inky darkness coil around the menhirs as if keeping the stones in a stranglehold. Other tendrils lick out from the shadowy rift as if tasting the air.
In the circle, you see four undead creatures. All are skeletal, three dripping blood and gore, while the fourth stands proud, bedecked in armor and wielding a fine sword.

Grubglub starts taking some acrobatic shortcuts...
There are several needed acrobatics checks for these, which I will handle here...
He first jumps down to the lower level (to where Enrique is now), and quickly turns and bounds across the water to the first rock. Luckily it was a short hop (DC14), because the rocks were a little wet, and he stumbles a little. He then leaps to the little island (DC20), easily making it! The little leaper continues on, hoping for continued success, and has to jump up across to near the circle DC15. Even with a good running start, he barely makes it, but make it he does!

The bloody skeletons will slowly heal themselves if you don't kill them outright. They are also more resistant to channeling than the average skeleton. Finally, even if you do kill them, they will still recover after one hour if you haven't used positive energy to kill them, sprinkled holy water on the remains, or blessed/consecrated the remains.
As for the Skeletal Champions, they are actually intelligent undead, having retained much of the intelligence that they had in life. They also are more resistant to channels than the average undead.

Gm, I currently have Mage Armor cast on me, so my AC is actually 23. Are you sure that hit?
Actually, with mage armor, your AC would be 22 (you have bracers of armor +1 listed, and both are armor bonuses). This is also why I prefer you update your tagline when conditions/adjustments change, because it is unlikely I will remember them.
