Saphera nods in response to Oliver's comment. "Thank you Oliver. I appreciate it."
Once everyone has been healed, Saphera begins escorting the secured prisoners to the Lionfish.
"We will need to take the Topaz Titan in tow if we want to bring it with us."

"As we approached, the brigands were questioning you about something. If I do not pry too deeply, what were they seeking to glean from you?"
Hirako responds to the investigator, "She wanted to know who the next scholar that was supposed to be sent after me and when they were coming. I suppose she was planning to continue to interrupt our studies for as long as possible for her own plans."

Grym puts his hand to his chin and begins speaking to no one in particular. "Mayhaps Netrav was authentic about the political nature of her plans. Peculiar to see a pirate captain making maneuvers of that nature. I wonder if she will disclose her full scheme before she meets the block."
The half-elf's face softens as he looks back to the hijacked scholar. "I digress, good sir. I am glad that we have been able to extricate you from your situation. To make your captor's defeat total, do this for us all -- prove her wrong. Make a breakthrough on the Cyphergate."

Hirako said that the others were all killed and he was the only one kept alive.
The trip back to Riddleport is subdued and quiet. Once in Riddleport, the party delivers the scholar to the Cypherlodge. Business returns to normal rather quickly for Tammerhawk and his academic associates, and the political tension between the crime-lord and Cromarcky wanes. Word spreads quickly through Riddleport of the party's defeat of Alejia’s gang, and the Pathfinders develop a reputation as a formidable force within the town.
Venture-Captain Heidmarch expresses her thanks, as does the rescued sage. Gurukaza promises the party any aid he can offer should they ever be in need of his assistance in the City of Cyphers, and vows to do his best to ensure that Tammerhawk and any allied to the crime boss know the extent of the party's deeds.
Once back in Riddleport Sherven Twobeards instructs the party that he is ready to depart for Absalom as soon as you are. Heidmrach has advised him that the lot of you that you will rendezvous with her briefly there before departing on your way to the Verduran Forest for your next mission.
The Cypher Guild is very grateful that you managed to rescue the scholar.
Also you actions seem to spread ahead of you and folk avoid any confrontation with you in taverns and other places.

As the party boards the Opparan Opal to depart Riddleport, a courier runs up to Grym bearing a parcel. The name 'Ruga Vastenzi' can be read on the package.
Day Job Craft (Alchemy): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
He mutters, "Hmph -- business is not going so well for the clan." With a final, somewhat disgusted glance back at Riddleport, the half-elf strides onto the ship's deck.
