Coyote looks at the door, and does not notice any traps. It looks as though this door, just like the one that you entered through, is only secret from the outside of the hallway on both sides.
When everyone is ready, you can go ahead and give me your next action.

Delum Thord |

Once Coyote returns from the door Delum begins to head down the hallway and gestures for Harrigan to join him. Once everyone is ready he opens the door, prepared to meet whatever is on the other side.

Zaxxeon |

I believe we are heading through the secret door Harrigan.

Deylar Tiarshuro |

As the group arrays itself to open the door, Deylar makes sure to take his position in the midst of the group. He quickly asks for divine assistance as they prepare for whatever lies beyond.
cast a quick Guidance before the door opens

Delum Thord |

Well, everyone has posted somewhere and I haven't heard any complaints so lets get this show on the road.
Delum quietly pulls the release and opens the door, his eyes quickly searching the room beyond.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 Well that's a great start...

A tattered and stained red carpet runs most of the length of this long hall. Moth-eaten tapestries of mounted knights and hilltop castles hang on the wall. At the far eastern end stands a large wooden throne surrounded by empty kegs and dirty wooden plates and mugs.
Very near you, surrounding the throne, are three humanoids (of different races; one larger than the others). A fourth humanoid sits on the throne. When you enter, they turn and look at you. The one on the throne calls out.
"Who the blazes are you?"
The other three figures draw their weapons, one with a battleaxe, one with a falchion, and the largest one with a longsword.
No initiative yet, but if you want to just attack, then I'll roll it.

Deylar Tiarshuro |

Deylar is also surprised to find inhabitants so close to the surface but manages to keep that reaction from his face. Feeling the divine energy of his spell still surrounding him he considers several actions he could immediately take.
He finally settles on a wait-and-see approach. The companions outnumber the inhabitants of the room so he feels confident that they can win a fight if it comes to that, that does not mean there is a reason to seek out battle if it is not necessary.
Seeing that Harrigan has already begun the parlay, the aasimar focuses his attention on the rest of the room to ensure nothing else is waiting to surprise them.
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Also want to stay aware of how long the talking takes, might want to take a swift action before the 1 minute of Guidance runs out....

Xaeken |

Knowledge what? I'm a fighter...unless its about dungeons *shrug*
To no one in particular Xaeken mumbles to himself, It is said that others often come to this place. Apparently, this is true.
For now the warrior simply stands at the ready, content to see what happens to Delum and Harrigan's introductions.

Harrigan takes 9 damage from the falchion. Block 2 is up!

Theodore Berard |

Too caught up in the scenery of the new hall, Theodore fails to find a spot in the introductory conversation before weapons are drawn, instead sliding one palm off the other and speaking an arcane phrase; the floor underneath the aggressive strangers quickly grows slippery with dark liquid.
10 ft. square of U-2 to V-3 (I hope I'm reading the grid right, seems the letters didn't want to space evenly) is now greased. Reflex save DC15 or fall prone, and DC10 acrobatics to move at half speed through the area. Also, say "the floor quickly grows slippery" out loud ten times fast. Harder than it looks.

Stepping forward, Xaeken's hands move in a blur, lunging at the large creature, though its shield blocks all but the pick, which sinks in past its tough skin. The humanoid retaliates against Xaeken, landing a glancing blow and opening a wound in the multi-armed fighter.

With practiced gestures, and a few, short words of arcane power, Zaxxeon rips the fabric of reality, reaching across the planes and pulling forth a majestic flying creature immediately above the head of the Throned-one.

The final humanoid bodyguard with the battleaxe turns toward Harrigan and Delum, looking ready to strike at any moment.
Block 4!

Deylar Tiarshuro |

Deylar silently curses himself as he reacts so slowly to the raging battle around him. His companions are doing well so far so the priest decides to add to their advantage with a boon from Nethys.
Still feeling the power of his deity's guidance within him, Deylar steps forward and brings his left fist toward his face. With a quick flicking motion splays his fingers open with his palm pointed upward. The only outward sign that anything happened is a small ringing sound like a tiny bell, but the entire group feels a slight tickling sensation on their skin as they are touched by Nethys's grace.
The aasimar knows that the blessings he can share are limited and they have a long trek ahead of them. He decides it is better to parse them out in a slow controlled manner until they know more about the situation. He quickly prays to offer Delum an additional blessing with a light touch on the warrior's back.

@ GM - I've made an assumption that Vessel's requirement for "target of a divine spell" means there is a spell in affect on me. If you're thinking that's wrong and it really means "use this ability the second you are hit with a spell" then I will recast Guidance on myself instead of Dellum so I can still use the domain power on the party this round.

Hearing the throned one call for aid, Delum cast a searching glance to the other doors in the room.
He shouts to Xaeken and Harrigan, "Hold them here!"
Delum then strides back to stand between the two nearest doors, "Ancestors give me strength..."
As the words are spoken, a strange scent emanates from the half-giant. It fills the air around him, reminding all those who smell it (anyone within 20ft) of old memories thought long forgotten.
It is then that Delum begins to grow. The already hulking warrior nearly doubling in size. He towers over the others in the room, holding a battleaxe now larger than any of his companions, he readies himself to attack any that might pass though the doors that flank him.

Xaeken, sliding over to engage the large humanoid, attacks furiously, but is unable to get by the surprisingly quick shield of his opponent.
After blocking all of Xaeken's attacks, the burly humanoid growls in rage, staring deep into the kasatha's eyes.

Zaxxeon growls slightly as his summoned creature is easily dispatched, but seems otherwise unfazed - "To each its role master" - comes the immediate comment from Albion - the half elf simply smiles at the reassuring remark, and again runs through practiced movements, summoning forth another creature to assist them in the fray.

Seeing the situation is much worse than they first believed, Delyar again lowers his head in prayer, this time calling on a more powerful spell to aid the team. As he finishes a silent pulse of light radiates out from the priest leaving each of his allies with a slightly warm flush on their exposed skin.
Quickly thinking that more is better, he brings his fist up and splays out his fingers one more time. The same ringing bell sounds in the chamber again but this time the slight tickle is replaced by a brief stinging itch. It is gone in a second but leaves behind the same boon as it did before.
The aasimar looks at the enlarged warrior. How did he DO that? I must learn what magics he possesses..... "They can handle the few by the throne, you should introduce yourself to these seven new friends!" He quickly grabs for his sling as his concern grows.
