Gwyneth gives the bull-headed symbols one last evil eye a piece before tossing them unceremoniously into her pack. With luck she'll have chance to turn them back into the molten slag from whence they came, but for now the Paladin settles on merely keeping the unholy tokens from sight.

"Suppose I'll just have to make special exception for you and that deathtrap then, eh?" she says, ruffling Naali's hair with a smirk that pulls the old scars beneath her jaw noticeably taut.

After a moment, the Paladin whispers another prayer under her breath; earnest promises to bring ruin upon their enemies and pride to those at her back. Her reward is another flicker of positive energy, and where once the glaive wound was sealed but thin, its outer markings appear all but gone.

"We all done here?" she asks, withdrawing to the southernmost doorway, her sword held firm. "'Cause I'm more than fine."

Alright, so a good portion of 'fine' is blatant bravado--but clearly Gwyneth is getting the hang of something...even if she's not entirely certain what that something actually is.

Sadron glances curiously down, then moves to join Gwyn.

"I hope not all villagers attack us on sight. Perhaps it would be best to send Naali forward again, minus the instruments impeding her path."

"You and me both, sir; but I'll not take chances here," Gwyn mutters at Sadron's wish for less hostile villagers. "...That glaive bloody hurt..."

As to his suggestion, the Paladin shrugs. "If the little miss is up to it...and we don't miss all the fun..."

Naali looks on as Gwyneth deals with another wound, brow furrowed in worry. "If we do get in a fight, though, we should be prepared, right? Give me a minute..."

Preparing two Cure Light Wounds extracts, 2 minutes. 1d8+2 healing instead of 1d8+1
She quickly mashes together various plants and powders with a small mortar and stuffs them into a vial - they fizz violently and the water inside glows orange briefly before settling into a muddy red color.
"Here, these should be a little stronger than what we have already. The plants down here are a a bit better at making stable potions than what I usually use, so they probably won't make you throw up."

For whoever thinks they're going to get whacked!

We still have a lot of found potions of CLW too, but Naali's are super handy as well!

"Thanks," Therrik says with a nod to Naali as he takes one and observes the color. "...looks intense. I also hope it won't make me throw up.

"What do you say, Naali? Want to try to scout like Sadron said, or should Gwyn and I just barge along?"

Naali-brand potions are best potions! :D

Gwyneth gingerly plucks the second vial from the Alchemist's grip. Even though the liquid has settled into a relatively inoffensive hue, she still can't quite hide the mask of suspicion crawling across her face. Her first introduction to Naali's concoctions still sits relatively fresh in mind. Alongside demons, Terendelev, and a tiny Tiefling tossing explosive bombs.

"So the chance of spontaneous combustion is...?" she asks grimly, though the paladin quickly shakes it off. "On second thought; don't answer that." Gwyneth gives the potion a final stare before tucking it beside her holy symbol, safe beneath the folds of her sash. "Surprise me."
