GM, with the drawback Mark of Slavery would you rule that it's any skill check that doesn't meet some listed DC (likely spoilered)? If so, then Devram missed the DC of the perception check, then he probably has a -2 to his attack.

Oh DM Ragnarok, I had some spoilered actions, if you would rather I use those, I'd like to, but however you want to reconcile it. It just seemed like it had been overlooked.

I expected it would be difficult, but a 28 is what I'm rolling without tools (though I did just look up how that works. The DC goes up by 10 if you don't have tools.) Maybe I can work out using claw blades or something as improvised tools. :) Eh, it was worth a shot.


Which is a great roll! But without tools the increased DC is pretty high.

Yeah +10 to the DC is brutal. Even simple locks are absurd.


I mean, it makes sense. How are you picking the lock?

I think the +10 is to represent having something...a hair pin, a paper clip or some other sundry item that you can fit to the task though it's not made for it.

I have extendable, rather large, claws. They'd fit in the lock, and I'd be able to get touch feedback since they're, well, on the ends of my fingers. Not the best tool, I know. -_-

Not to mention the chance of breaking a nail!

She's not an android per-say, she's a human mind in a constructed body - a Frankenstein type thing really, Android is just the best way of doing it. And yes she is slow - just wait for a bit! :)

I messaged the GM last night - he's a player in one of my PbPs, and I'm observing another one he's running. I haven't heard from him yet.

It's been 2 weeks since his last post, though. Do we want to take a course of action, or give him a little more time?

I vote a little more time. I understand if stuff gets in the way, but unless he at least gives us a reason or time-frame for what's going on I'm going to have to move towards action. Otherwise this game was slow to begin with.

That's my preferred course of action, as well - although when I say 2 weeks since his last post, I mean 2 weeks since his last post anywhere on the forums - not just this game.

Makes more inclined to think life may be hitting him hard right now.
