Farrina the Fabulous |

Knowledge Local: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
"Has he lost his addled mind?" Farrina says in frustration to those around her.
Tut, tut; Glass houses and all now, girl.
"Stuff it! Now's not the time," she snarls in response. The cobbler that was standing next to her takes a cautious step away from her.
The Colorful One takes a step closer to the orating bard. "Listen to the smart man, folks! They're just trying to rile us up so they can squash us like bugs! Don't fall for it!"
In a much quieter voice, she leans close to Beorn and says, "Maybe we should make our exit at this point before the squashing really begins."
Diplomacy (Assist): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

Farrina the Fabulous |

We should certainly be on our guard. Beorn replies. But let us not be seen as cowardly, we shall deflate his desire to squash us by not taking the bait and thus he shall look the fool.
"Sure, that's one way it could go," Farrina responded as she looked around nervously.
"Although I'm not sure if that's the spot I'd put my chips on the table."

Dayne Garrion |

"Not letting ship captains off their ships seems like a law that will only hurt Kintargo economically. They'll stop doing business here eventually. What is Thrunes goal here?"

Farrina the Fabulous |

"Not letting ship captains off their ships seems like a law that will only hurt Kintargo economically. They'll stop doing business here eventually. What is Thrunes goal here?"
"It looks like he's trying to push the people to a breaking point," Farrina responded suspiciously. "Then he can declare martial law and do whatever the hells he wants."
She looks around at the crowd.
"And I think he might get his way."

Tilorean Vashnarstill |

"Kintargans! This is an obvious ploy to get you to lose control! DO not let him push you onto the swords of his men! Do not become martyrs when you can simply wait, and find a way to live as free men! Do not let him turn you into trout, swimming into his nets!"
Diplomacy+2: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 2 = 13
5, 6, 1, 5. <sigh>

Jego Erwis |

Jego felt his jaw hit the ground, crash through, and burst out somewhere on the other side of Golarion. ”He can't be serious…”
He nodded in agreement with the colorful woman, ”This is a punishment. A show of strength.”
Jego flashed a concerned look to Dayne before turning to join Tilorean in addressing the mod, ”Head these words and protect not only yourselves but those you call neighbor! Stand firm and show them what Kintargo truly is! A city of brothers and sisters!”
Perform Oratory: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
I'm not sure if you would be considered that Aiding since it's a different skill check. I'm not even sure if it reeeeaaaly matters because of plot raisins.

Dayne Garrion |

mmmm... plot raisins.
Dayne will draw his shield, take a step closer to Jego and keep is eyes on the dottari.

DM Ragnarok |

Sagar, your intuition seems to be right on the money.
From somewhere in the crowd, someone throws a handful of manure at
Barzillai. Though the putrid projectile misses Barzillai’s noble personage, the lord-mayor nonetheless flinches and spills wine across his ornate clothing. With his wardrobe and dignity endangered, the lord-mayor’s demeanor shifts from amused to bellicose. He shrieks, “Enough of this! Nox, run them off, arrest them, or kill them. I don’t care which!” before retreating into the opera house and slamming the windows.
Down below, Nox, a mean and terribly strong woman with a wicked-looking glaive, immediately mobilizes the dottari, who draw their weapons. At the same time, men and women throughout the crowd pull back their cloaks, revealing matching armbands, truncheons, and the sadistic grins of Chelish Citizens’ Group members eager to mete out some “justice.”
Everyone roll initiative for me!

Dayne Garrion |

Recognizing an opportunity for a pun:
"Well...sh*t..."
Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

DM Ragnarok |

- Initiative
- Tilorean
- Dayne
- Thugs
- Beorn
- Farrina
- Sagar
- Jego
Six Chelish Citizen Group thugs reveal themselves and are clearly making their way towards you, maces gripped tightly. The crowd is difficult to pass through; however, any of you that successfully Rabble Roused earlier have made yourself known, and the crowd instinctively parts for you.
If you did not Rabble Rouse earlier, the crowd counts as Difficult Terrain.
Even with the crowd surging, the Thugs are close enough that anyone can move and attack.
Tilorean and Dayne may take turns.

Dayne Garrion |

Daynes eyes dart around trying to gauge how many of the bystanders he can protect at once. Not enough.
"Stay close."
Move Action: Draw my Warhammer
Standard Action: Ready an attack in response to Jego or myself being attacked.

damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Aid DC 10: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

Beorn the Divine |

Beorn is outraged at the attack of the Thrunish thugs and is determined to unleash JUSTICE His blade springs into his hand and a song to his lips as he prepares for battle
YO KINTARGO!
Yo Kintargo!
We'll fight for freedom where ever there's trouble.
Kintargo is there.
It's Kintargo against Thrune the enemy
Fighting to save the day.
We never give up.
We're always there,
Fighting for freedom over land and air
Kintargo- A real Chelish hero
Kintargo is there
We never give up.
We'll stay til the fight's won.
Kintargo will dare.
Kintargo- A real Chelish hero
KINTARGOOOOOO!!
Standard, Inspire Courage +1 hit/damage 6/6 rounds. Move, draw weapon

Tilorean Vashnarstill |

"Everyone, RUN! Don't become martyrs here today! FLEE!" Til chooses to try to save people rather than answer the violence i a fashion which will surely get him beaten bloody, though a part of him realizes that may be happening anyway.
As he yells at the people, pleading with them to save themselves, he moves at an angle through the crowd, trying to cut an empty space in front of the thugs . . ..
Move to, well, move. I figure a Standard for actively working to encourage departures. I'm guessing Diplomacy. Guessing.
Diplomacy? modified from crowd impressions: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 2 = 16

DM Ragnarok |

Tilorean, it seems to have a bit of an effect. Some of the crowd around you begins to flee.
Due to the chaos around you, only three of the thugs are able to make it to you this turn. The rest take double moves to get to you.
Seeing Dayne as the largest threat, they all converge on him, but are unable to flank.
Dayne, your readied action pops off, damaging one of them. The one you hit strikes back for 3 points of damage. Beorn, you then begin your Bardic Performance (and it's amazing). Next?

Farrina the Fabulous |

"Well, s&*!!" Farrina snaps. "This is NOT how this was supposed to go."
And you thought it would go how?
"You shut your piehole! They were supposed to listen placidly, ignore us, and then send us unharmed on our merry way."
With a frown of annoyance, the Fabulous One waves her hand, scattering rose petals in the direction of the oncoming Citizen Group, and mutters some arcane phrases.
"The key word of that sentence being 'unharmed'."
Sleep DC15

Sagar Faraux |

Sagar sighed. He expected this but it still was a shame. He just hoped the dottari would simply protect Barzillai and only the thugs actually attacked people. That said, those thugs needed to be removed.
He headed for the closest of the Thrune loyalist's, drawing his large blade as he made his way through the crowd. Once there he lashes out.

Jego Erwis |

Jego hesitated for a moment as the crowd began to scatter. The loud, amazing singing snapped him back just in time to see Dayne engaging multiple thugs.
He unclasped the spike chain with his right hand, letting the end clank against the street before grasping it in both hands and swinging it towards the “guard” that attacked Dayne.
Spiked Chain: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
damage: 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (2, 2) + 1 = 5
Of course
And missed horribly.

Tilorean Vashnarstill |

Continuing to try to shoe citizens away from the fight, Til draws his blade, preparing to move behind the thugs when he has the chance. "RUN! Get out of here! Don't get dead! RUN!"
Move to draw, standard to continue trying to chase people out, whether any more take the hint or not.
Diplomacy w/ rabble bonus: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 6 + 2 = 21

Dayne Garrion |

The thugs, the civilians, those fighting back. too many things to think about.
Dayne hears the words of his father again in his head "in the direst struggle, I will act in a way that brings honor to Torag"
He maneuvers through the guards to help cover Sagar Faraux who joined the melee. "Faraux! What are you doing here?"
Move action: to position myself in between Sagar and Jego, adjacent to both.
He draws his focus on the task at hand, and fights more deliberately, methodically.
Standard Action: Attack (using Combat Expertise) -1 attack +1 AC
Attack: 1d20 + 3 - 1 ⇒ (19) + 3 - 1 = 21
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
He is poised to defend his allies near him. No one will fall on his watch.
If they are attacked, I use an AoO to aid +3 AC

DM Ragnarok |

Two of them take actions to wake up their allies that have fallen asleep.
Dayne, your attack hits one of them. We'll say it was the one you hit before, which is enough to reduce them to unconsciousness.
The two that were asleep rise from prone, provoking from Dayne, Sagar and Jego, as well as anyone else who is in melee range. Make your attacks!

Dayne Garrion |

One fell. so five thugs left.
Two took standards to wake up two others
The two other two stood up as moves
That means, once up, three will be able to attack.
I'll keep my two AoOs for Bodyguard.

Sagar Faraux |

Sagar lashes out at the two standing up. While he manages to score a large hit on one of them it put him off balance for the other target.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 Crit Damage: 2d10 ⇒ (8, 4) = 12

As he planned, Til' moves in behind the thugs, taking up a flanking position with one of the others.
Rapier w/ Flank: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 4 + 2 = 21
Damage w/ Sneak Attack: 1d6 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 1 + (6) = 12
Apparently finding a chink in their armor . . ..
Move into position, standard attack.

Farrina the Fabulous |

Her annoyed temperament not abating, Farrina curses again under her breath as she sees the thugs awakened from their magical slumber.
"Damn cretins don't know when their role is over," she says with a shake of her head. She then flicks her fingers in an underhand motion and a flash of light streaks towards one of them.
Blinding Ray vs Touch AC: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
"F+%%!" she exclaims, stamping one foot as her blinding missile misses its target.

Jego Erwis |

Just a quick post from me. I'm in bed sick.
Jego eyed one of the men trying to stand at brought his chain down hard.
Melee Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Damage: 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (1, 1) + 1 = 3
...hardish.
"It would be best if you just stayed down, son," Jego swung attacked the same man.
Melee Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Damage: 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (3, 2) + 1 = 6
The first is my AoO the second is my turn.

DM Ragnarok |

Sagar, there were 3 thugs within reach of you. The one you crit is now unconscious and bleeding. The one that Jego hit with an AoO is still conscious as is the one you missed with your second AoO.
Tilorean I believe you also forgot to add Inspire. However, you swoop in from the back and neatly pierce into one of the thugs, bringing them down.
So on your turn, Sagar, there are 2 to attack, one hit by Jedo with an AoO and one unwounded.

Sagar Faraux |

Seeing Dayne, Sagar smiles, "I was supposed to meet someone here but I think it's safe to say they left. I do think we should follow their example once we have bought some time for all bystanders to flee."
With that Sagar takes a slightly more defensive posture before lashing out against the thug hurt by the bald man.

Annoyed at her lack of effectiveness in the current brawl, Farrina interjects into the conversation.
"Yes, fleeing would be the thing to do!"

Farrina the Fabulous |

Flee?! we have them on the run! Citizens! Time for the battering ram! Haul Brassire out and get the tar and feather!
"Now look," the illusionist responds, "I'm a big fan of audicity in the face of adversity, but sometimes the correct response is to exit stage left."

Dayne Garrion |

"I knew I should have stayed home today."
