"Krogun accepts!"
"Oh dog snot!" Krogun thinks. "I don't even like the climbing. I like the low ground much better. I must succeed Chief Gutwad will think me a coward or worse a kobold hugger!"
You wait for about five minutes before you come anywhere near to being seen. A total of four goblins with clubs walk by at different times without noticing you. After a little while the clubbers give up with curses, and blow a horn to signal your victory.
Slorb presents you the 'Ring of Climb Real Good'.
"Bring back to chief like Gorge of Gluttons," he says. "No more hero-y things tonight!"
The 'Ring of Climb Real Good' is just a 'Ring of Climbing'
You are all awoken by Slorb hitting you with a large stick he probably found in the marsh. "Sun is up. Time to get fireworks for chief! Cheif. Chief said give you what we found in Scribblefaces Hut." He hands Gar'zing a bag full of fireworks. "You be boom boom man, so Slorb give to you."
Bag of Fireworks:
2 Desnan Candles: When lit, this foot-long wooden tube launches a flaming pyrotechnic “candle” every round for 4 rounds. Each projectile deals 1 point of nonlethal damage and 1 point of fire damage if it hits; on a critical hit, the target is also blinded for 1 round. The projectiles shed light as candles for 1 round and have a range increment of 5 feet. Attacking with a Desnan candle is a ranged touch attack and always has a –4 nonproficiency penalty.
4 Paper Candles: This finger-sized explosive detonates noisily 1 round after lighting. Anyone in the same square as a paper candle when it explodes must make a DC 15 Fortitude save or be dazzled for 1d4 rounds.
Skyrocket: When lit, this foot-long wooden tube begins to shake and emit a handful of white sparks, shedding light as a torch. One round later it takes flight, moving in a straight line with a fly speed of 90 for 1d6 rounds before loudly exploding in an burst of light and sound, dealing 2d6 points of fire damage in a 10-foot burst (DC 15 Reflex save for half). If a skyrocket impacts a solid surface or a creature before reaching its maximum range, it detonates prematurely at the point of impact. Anyone who takes damage from the explosion is either blinded or deafened (a 50% chance of either) for 1 round.

I think it's fine for Gar'zing to be proficient with fireworks, considering he has two abilities that might potentially allow it, and goblins are crazy about fireworks anyway. Before we get this thing on the road, Gar'zing, how do you get MapTool to number the grid after you take a screenshot? Do you use another program? Btw, that is hilarious, Mogwag!
i just go to view => show grid and show coordinates. Then I go to full screen. Them I take a screen shot. then open microsoft paint or a similar porgram. then you ctrl - v to paste paste it in that program. Then save it and upload to google docs. GM, do you have a gmail? Then we could just instant chat and I could assist you easier
It seems that you don't need to put it into Microsoft Paint at all. Under file you can save a a screenshot in MapTool. I have it ready and rolling now. Thanks for the help. How do you guys feel about me rolling dice for you like initiative and saving throws?
You set off into the marsh at once. The marsh itself is relatively difficult to navigate, with numerous stretches of deep water that must be skirted and thick tangles of stinging nettles, but the creek keeps you on track for your journey. You travel like this for about half an hour. Everyone make perception checks!
You are all to preoccupied with bickering among each other as you travel to notice the giant spider lying in wait for you. Lotslegs! Out of the tall grass it charges at Dreg and tries to sink it's fangs into his arm.
Gar'zing throws a bomb at Lotslegs, but misses and ends up hitting C8 dealing 4 damage to the spider. Do you guys know if allies take splash damage from friendly attacks, because if they do, Dreg, Gar'zing, and Krogun each take 4 damage as well.
Mogwag launches a bolt of magical energy which homes in on him and deals 5 damage!
Krogun takes a swing at Lotslegs but misses.
Lotslegs withdraws to B9 and tries to bite Dreg again.
