Seif tightens his grip on the hilt of his sword, but does not make any aggressive moves...
...he does however concentrate, and focus on the dragon.
Detect Evil.

In draconic, but translates via the telepathic link
"Your master is here, dragon. Come return to him and we will leave you in peace." Bel motions to the casket, but floats backwards away from it.
Male Human Game Master 10
The tiny undead dragonling is indeed, an evil creature. Greedy and vile to its core. Nevertheless, it is a child, an unaware that its very nature is evil.
Seif also detects a ripple in the coins at the edge of the room. It appears for a second, then disappears again. A few coins clink together, and the sound quietly bounces off the walls.
The dragon, heeding the words of Belgraen, slinks back into the coffin, and curls up on the chest of the long-dead Pharaoh.

"Well that was educational." Bel says with an audible sigh of relief.
"Would anyone like to fill their pockets and see what happens or shall we move on? I My little spies found something interesting upstairs."

"I came here for answers, not gold. Is there not another door on this level that we should investigate, however, before we continue our ascent?"
Male Human Game Master 10
The chamber you are in is perfectly square, and has large double doors on each wall.

"Very well, let's see what there is to be seen. Underdune, can you see through the wall again, or is that skill limited?"
Male Human Rogue 1/Cleric 8/Balanced Scale of Abadar 6
Anum pauses for a moment and says, "While limited, I have barely tapped into my reserves for my sight."
This other door was one of the two into the room I used my sight on from the hallway wasn't it? If it isn't then I will use my Door sight to peer on the other end"
Male Human Game Master 10
All the doors lead into an outer hallway, which encircles (or rather, squares around) the room you are currently occupying.

"let's go back to the (insert) that the eyes saw above"
i forget what the thing was. A mummy I think.

"Yes I agree. Let's check that out"

we exit and head toward where my eye saw the mummy.

As you turn the corner, you find the shaft empty. Looking up the shaft, you can make out the shape of the golem, climbing up and pushing the platform to the levels above.

Why do I feel like there should be elevator music? ;-)
Seif eyes the retreating golem warily.
"I take it that it will be back, shortly?"

"I assume so. "
Bel says looking around at his companions awkwardly at his lack of anything significant to add.

i can just picture these uber powerful characters sitting around waiting for something as mundane as an elevator. "So... Nice weather we're having. .... *awkward silence*"
Male Human Game Master 10
Haha. How are you ascending? Spell casting or magic items?
[/ooc]
Assuming you all get up with minimal difficulties, you gather on the level above (the entry level). Backtracking leads you to the T-shaped intersection.

I thought we were waiting on the golem elevator, but I'm sure we can all otherwise get up one way or another.

After waiting for a few minutes, Dianora lets out a sigh. "We do not have time for this, unless we want to risk being trapped in here. Let us ascend on our own."
Is it possible to climb up to the next level?

Worst case scenario bel can levitate and use telikinesis to get everyone else up.
Male Human Rogue 1/Cleric 8/Balanced Scale of Abadar 6
Anum will levitate up to the next level

Sorry for my absence. We've opened two shows this week at school, so I've been very busy! Also, the spring semester guest lecture for the Religious Studies department is tomorrow, so I've been off getting that ready! I won't be posting tomorrow, but will return on Wednesday. Thanks for understanding!
Going up the level, you come to the T shape intersection, the passage on your left leads back to the entrance of the tomb. The other tunnel, which goes straight ahead, leads to the room with the linen-wrapped monster that Belgraen saw in his spell.

Nothing about the room detects as magical, although the linen-wrapped form in the corner gives off a necromantic aura.

Bel moves to within 50 feet of the presumed mummy and speaks to it.
"What is your name, Corpse?"

Seif stares hard at the mummy.
Detect Evil, as per the Paladin class ability.
F HP 216, AC 37, F+28 / R+27 / W +29 Human cleric (warpriest) 16
Dianora begins edging her way around the room, trying to put herself on the other side of the mummy from Belgraen. Assuming the room's large enough. She's also rather keep 50 feet between her and the corpse.
1d20 + 22 ⇒ (18) + 22 = 40
Male Human Rogue 1/Cleric 8/Balanced Scale of Abadar 6
Anum prepares himself in case of battle, lining himself up with Dianora

The linen wrapped corpse's head slowly raises, leveling hot-coal eyes at Belgraen.
"My name was Seraton. Now I am nameless. I entered the island, and cast my eye, I didn't go my on my way, so I had to die. I voiced regret, but they heard not my plea, and in the end, I no longer serve me."
Sief detects that the creature is evil.
The room is 30x30, with the monster in the south-east corner.

Telepathically ::We talk until it becomes unproductive, then we deal with it.::
To the corpse
"You were a treasure hunter then? were you here when the pyramid disapeared last?"
Male Human Game Master 10
"I have served The Four for the past 56 cycles of the Sun. I was at one time, like you, a mercenary, a treasure hunter, a sword for hire." the mummy's raspy voice sends chills down your spine.

To the creature "In what capacity have you served and whom do you serve?"
More questions: "Do you know what we seek and where is it?

"I serve as the guardian to this tomb, as do others. I serve the Four, who's runes you find hidden in the passage ways. I know not what you seek."

Anyone want to jump in here?

"Ask it if it can tell us where the runes are, so we may avoid them. Or perhaps any other of their servants or even where they are. Perhaps we can make use of this creature, turn the pharoah's weapon back on themselves."
