We should just leave her here. I'm sure someone will pick her up eventually, either to throw her in prison or to sell her in the markets. The elf says nonchalantly

Asking around the bottoms the groups learn the location of the temple. It was often referred to as a junk heap.
When the group finally makes its way to the old prison it is exactly as described, a trash heap. It may once have been a model of beautiful prison architecture, but its facade is faded and cracked, piles of windblown trash hug its walls in drifts, and what may have once been a manicured landscaping has since devolved into a tangled, swampy mess. A single path of cracked, wet bricks links the street to the entrance of the Temple, which appears to be a brand new, iron-braced wooden door. Above the door is a decayed carving of a human man on his knees, his arms raised toward a rising sun.

![]() |

Ferabras considers the new, stout door in the entrance to this ruin of a building, then says, "I'm guessing there's some kind of surprise waiting for unwelcome visitors who come knocking at that door. I don't have the kind of devious mind needed to lay such a surprise. Tamisiel, seems like you'd be good at this sort of thing, you mind taking a look?"
If Ferabras is aware of the potential insult in what he's just said, he shows no sign of it.

Great-grandfather: I-it is! R-really! *cough*

Tamisiel feigns indignation, I resent your implications Ferabras. Besides it seems our young friend Miyako is desperate to prove she is almost capable to opening a door. When you are done alerting everyone to our presence child perhaps you will let someone else take a look?

”An, um, impressive effort, Miyako,” offers Ferabras, putting a clawed hand gently on the lunatic cleric’s arm and easing her out of the way. ”Thank you very much for trying to get that door open. Now, maybe Tamisiel has a different way she’d like to try. Right, Tamisiel?”
He tips his head at the door, giving Tamisiel a significant look, as if to say, Give it a shot, maybe you can get it open before the entire Shadow Lodge comes down on us.

Just a thought Tamisiel, you can just take a 20 on a lock and use only a single point of inspiration.
Tamisiel tinkers with the lock and eventually gets it open to reveal a small room that looks as though it were recently cleaned. Piles of broken furniture lay against the east wall and a single, nondescript desk sits in the middle of the room facing the door in the south wall. Another door, just as thick and sturdy, is opposite the main door on the north wall.
Five goblins stand ready and waiting for the Pathfinders and the goblin behind the desk looks to be casting some sort of spell.

He draws his greatsword over his shoulder and says, "I think you're going to regret that, little ones," while moving into the hallway.

When resistance completely negates the damage from an energy attack, the attack does not disrupt a spell. This resistance does not stack with the resistance that a spell might provide. Since you took no damage you are still asleep.
