I would like to get started as a GM on the forums. I have been playing Pathfinder since January 2013, and PFS since April. I have been GMing and playing in that amount of time.

To help me learn the ropes of GMing in a PbP, I want to start simple: First Steps Part 1. This scenario is for level 1 characters only, sorry about that to those of you with higher level characters.

About my posting schedule: I can almost always post 2 or 3 times in a day. That being said, I have a 3 week old baby, and my job is currently in its busy season, So there may be a time when I can only post once, if at all, particularly on Saturdays. If this works for you, submit a character!

I will leave recruitment open until I find 6 players that I like, possibly 7.

I'm trying to start out here myself, too. I just need to finish a few details, and make sure my character is fully PFS legal, but I'd appreciate it if you could give me a chance.

Level 1 Human Sorcerer.

I have a character that has played in one scenario, so he has 1 XP. Is he ok?

Also, I thought that I read somewhere that the First Steps were no longer allowed for credit. Did you hear about that?

@ Kyrani: I will go over your character and see if I notice anything not legal, but consider yourself in! This is gonna be first come, first serve.

@Marcus: First, having 1XP is perfectly fine, he just can't be level 2. Second, you are almost correct in what you heard. First Steps Parts 2 and 3, are retired and are no longer allowed to be played for credit. However, Part 1 is still sanctioned and can be played. Also not that because it is only for Tier 1, you can play or GM it multiple times for credit.

@Anyone else that is interested: If there is enough interest in this, I can run a second or even a third group. It really wouldn't be too difficult. Also, as long as you don't spoil things for everyone else, I am ok with people who have already played this, playing it again.

@Kyrani: Just went to check out your profile, and noticed it's practically empty. If you could put your character sheet in the about section, that would be great. I am not picky about format. Also, if you could put your stats such as AC, HP/HP, saves, perception, and initiative modifiers into your Class/Levels section, that would also be wonderful

@Eolowyn, welcome to the table. As stated above, as long as you don't spoil anything for those who haven't played it, I am ok with you being at this table. I reserve the right to remove people from the table who spoil things :p

I'll hop on this train if I can. I've done First Steps before, but it was a while back so I don't remember much. I have a half-orc sorcerer with First Steps parts 2 & 3 under his belt, and I've been waiting to finish out with part 1 (which sounds odd, I know).

Anyway, let me know what you think. Presenting Tortella, the melee sorcerer!

Rutilus here is a badly made cleric of Pharasma. Let me remake it quickly with positive instead of negative chanelling, change faction and I should be good to go soon.

I have done First steps 1 before, but with another PFS character. I will strive to do my best not to spoil any fun for any of the involved if choosen for the game.

If you still have a spot avaible I would like to join with Rufus. I have never played this scenario before.

If no one else applies before I get home this evening, we will start with those 7! Otherwise, I will leave recruitment open until I have enough players to do 2 tables.

I'll have a half elf rouge up here in a bit. Just gotta roll him up as I'm new to PFS as well.

Table 2, which can be found here Table 2, will be Kyrani, Tortella, Rufus, and Yugatta (yes, there is room, by the way). You guys can go to the link and make your in character intros in the gameplay thread please! Once intros are done we will begin!!!

I'm new to PFS. I've got a Lvl 1 Human Paladin.

I have a level 1 cleric if one of the groups needs help, never done first steps, just started in society saturday before last. :)

Well it may have to wait till I get home. Missing some things. Need my books, can't get to D20SRD at work. PRD doesn't have all the info. I should be able to get mostly done, but I will need to change a few things when I get home for sure.

Ok, just so you are aware, other than the core rulebook, you can only use things from book if you own the book that it is from. Other than that, can't wait!

yeah I know, I have a lot of books. I just user the PRD and d20SRD from work and in front of the computer. Just easier.

If there's still room on a table I'd love to join. I've played in one PFS scenario before and would love to continue with the character. I'm all new to the paizo forums though, so will have to find my way around!

I would say yes, however both tables are pretty well underway now... That being said, I am planning on continuing to GM First Steps for a while to get some new people online... Keep checking the recruitment thread!
